I’m telling you this news from Germany because this is a big problem in the US as well.
When someone is approved for refugee status they have sworn they will be persecuted if returned to their home country, so how can they just pop off to that same country for a holiday?
It happens all the time with ‘refugees’ in the US—the Bosnians traveled back and forth after being admitted by the tens of thousands to the US under Bill Clinton, but most famously the Somalis do it all the time.
Remember we learned here in January that Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar traveled back to the Somalia she said she escaped as a child refugee.
Now it appears that Germany may be going to get serious about the traveling-home-for-the-holidays scam!

Germany To Strip Asylum Status of ‘Refugees’ Who Go Home on Holiday
German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer has announced the government will be cracking down on Syrians with asylum status who go on holiday back to Syria.
Bavarian centre-right leader Horst Seehofer said that the government would be looking to strip Syrians who visit their home country on holiday of their asylum status, saying that those who regularly travel to the country cannot make a serious claim that they are being persecuted there, Kronen Zeitung reports.
“We have to deprive them of their refugee status,” Seehofer added and said that the Interior Ministry was monitoring any such activity from Syrians with refugee status living in Germany.

The revelations of asylum seekers and refugees making holidays in their home countries — where they allegedly fled persecution — are not a new development. As early as January of 2017 it was shown that asylum seekers in Switzerland were using welfare cash to go on vacations to Eritrea, despite claiming they risked death if they were ever sent back to the country.

Earlier this year, noted Syrian refugee blogger Aras Bacho complained that he would like to go and visit Syria this summer but was unable to and said he knew at least six other Syrians who want for a holiday in Syria.
“Unfortunately, I was unable to go on holiday to Syria because something very important got in the way, and I hope to catch up very soon during the holidays. Germany is stressful and you need some kind of break,” he said.
I guess you’ve seen the news that dear old Deutschland might be headed into a recession.
Wonder if admitting a million needy (mostly Muslim) refugees in a few short years had anything to do with it?
I would like to know how many “refugees” or “asylees” the U.S. admitted have not become U.S. Citizens.
Give ’em 1 year to become a citizen after they become eligible, and then give them the boot if they aren’t.
They also must meet the eligibility requirements on a timely basis. Say, if it takes 5 years residency (I have no idea), then they must apply immediately thereafter and that starts the 1 year clock.
I also do not understand why we allow dual citizenships. I’m lookin’ at you Creepy Lyin’ Little Jorge Ramos. You are either in or you are out. Pick one. You can’t play both sides.
This article reminds me of the Boston Bombers of the Tsarnaev family. The family came as asylum seekers, because they were oppressed in Chechnya, Russia as Muslims. The Russian police authorities contacted the FBI to alert them about the suspicious activities of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was in Chechnya visiting his parents, you know the same ones who had to flee Russian persecution. Evidently the parents had moved back to Russia.
Gee I wonder if they turned in their green cards before they left the good old USA?
Anyway, the Russians said Tamerlan was hanging out with known terrorists and they suspected he intended to return to America to wreak some havoc.
Instead of the FBI simply blocking the return of Tamerlan, which they certainly could have done. They decided to allow his return and pay a visit to him after his return. It turns out the FBI had decided to see if they could flip the boys and see if they could use them as sources.
Well that didn’t work out too well, did it.
Thanks for reminding us of that case—-yes, they went back for visits to the place of their supposed persecution.
Nice to see the Germans facing reality, finally. This is a start.
It would seem that much of the world is waking up to the fact that if you don’t have borders, you don’t have a country. Even the Mouth Squad is learning you cannot move about freely wherever you feel like it. What big heads they have.
Look at Mexico. And they better not take their foot off the brake either. We are watching them.
I worked in the medical industry for a county hospital. One Somali woman took trips back there from Nevada 2-3 times a year. No one questioned it. Every time she returned she brought with her an STD. She was having kids from someone in Somalia and coming back here to have them, every time needing to be treated for an infection. No one thought anything about it or at least never put it in her chart….
WOW.

Exactly, I’ve preached this since Omar went back for a celebration , after she was elected to Mn. House. And why in Minnesota can Somalians go back to visit and get rent credit while they are gone, each year. UNREAL!!!
