Apparently the Bhutanese/Nepali refugees that the feds, along with one of nine federal contractors, placed in Vermont (to help diversify one of the whitest states in the nation) are moving west.
According to a report at Vermont Public Radio, the “new Americans” want to join others of their ethnic group in Columbus, Ohio.
Indeed, they, like many other large groups of refugees we have admitted, are building ethnic enclaves in an ever increasing balkanization of America.
Somalis have staked out Columbus, so what happens when two large ethnic groups are scrambling for housing and jobs? (The Bhutanese/Nepalis are not Muslims, btw.)
By the way, if you never saw mypost welcoming you to this blog, to Frauds and Crooks, check it out now. I started it after learning that the Progressives were working on yet another film about the joys of diversity—this time centered on Columbus, Ohio.
Before I get to the latest news, you should know that the George W. Bush State Department said in 2007that the US would take 60,000 Bhutanese/Nepali refugees from the UN camps on the Nepal border(to help out the UN because we had no national interest or involvement in ethnic conflicts in that region).
Fast forward to today and data shows that we now have ‘welcomed’ over 96,000 so-called Bhutanese ‘refugees’ to your towns and cities.
I’ve only said this about a million times (exaggerating of course!): To be a legitimate refugee one must claim that he or she would be persecuted for one of several reasons if the refugee claimant should return (or be forced to return) to his or her home country.
The wannabe refugee makes that claim and is then processed by the UN which arranges resettlement to a third country!
Imagine my surprise to see this news that gives me the rare opportunity to praise the United Nations!
One of the good things about this new blog is that I can still bring you stories about refugees while enjoying a much broader choice of news across a wide spectrum of involving frauds, crooks and criminals.
This news, meant to tug on your heartstrings (the Left is good at that!), points to an area of the US Refugee Admissions Program that should make your head explode!
But, before you read it remember: Don’t blame these poor old souls we yanked out of Africa and out of their culture, blame the Open Borders agitators and lobbyists in the refugee industry always on the hunt to import more poverty to America.
Although many of the volunteers on the ground just want to do good by the the refugees, the leadership of the industry headed by Socialists/Marxists! wants to import poverty as a way to reshape America.
If it makes no sense to you that anyone would advocate overloading our welfare system, read about theCloward and Piven strategywhen you have a few extra minutes.
Religion News Service has published a lengthy and whiney report on the status of the US Refugee Admissions Program under the Trump Administration. It is a useful summary in some ways of where the refugee industry is these days.
But, don’t be fooled, all of the federal contractors are still in place and still being funded. They have simply hunkered down to wait Trump out.
The story(hat tip: Joanne) is an excuse to bash Trump, but is interesting as it begins with a refugee sob story (as they all do because the Left loves stories!), that raised some questions for me about how this Columbus, Ohio Somali woman got into the US in the first place.
And, one more thing! Just because the word “religion” is in the name of this publication that doesn’t mean it is a religious publication! It is a media source with a Leftist spin for news that might eventually appear in places like the Washington Post.
Two years after Trump’s travel ban, faith-based refugee groups struggle
“My first thought is that I hope they are safe today, and that stays on my mind throughout the whole day,” Abdo told Religion News Servicethrough an interpreterprovided by Church World Service.
The 40-year-old Muslim mother of seven was separated from her five oldest children from a first marriage nearly 12 years ago when she and her second husband fled civil war twice — first in Somalia, then in Libya. When they arrived in Columbus, Ohio, as asylum seekers in 2012, she filed a request for her four teenaged daughters and one son, living with her 75-year-old mother in Ethiopia, to join her through World Relief.
Seven years later, she is still waiting. And the World Reliefoffice that once helped her has been closed.
That closure in 2017 was a “direct result” of President Trump’s executive order to cut the number of refugees resettled that year in the United States, World Reliefsaid at the time.
Do these young reporters have no curiosity? Here is what I want to know:
First, why did she have to leave her children behind in Ethiopia? And now nearly grown up, aren’t they safe in Ethiopia? Wouldn’t Abdo be safe in Ethiopia with grandma and the five kids.
If she came to the US as an asylum seeker, that means she actually got in to the US with her present hubby (or at least we presume hubby is with her) and was not screened and admitted as a regular refugee. Did she come across our southern or northern border?
Did she go through the asylum system and was she granted refugee status?
And, heck, why would you try to run to Libya in the first place? Were they planning to break into Europe across the Mediterranean?
We have been told she has been here seven years, but still needs an interpreter?
Religion News continues…
Abdo now is pursuing her case through Community Refugee and Immigration Services, Church World Service’s refugee and immigration office in Columbus.
She talks “constantly” on the phone with her children in Ethiopia, she said through an interpreter. She works at a daycare and cares for her two youngest children, one born at a refugee camp in Libya and the other in the United States.
But, she said, “It is very hard and very difficult for a mother to be separated from her kids every day.” [What the hell, she left her kids behind 12 years ago!—ed]
In the meantime, Abdo is studying for her U.S. citizenship exam, which she hopes to pass this month.
This month! She can’t even speak English!
Religion Newsmight have chosen a better star for their story!
See myearlier post todayabout a Columbus fraudster (from Abdo’s ‘community?) going to jail!
I’ve been tagging posts by the state where the fraud, crime, whatever, happened. I’m thinking Ohio might be taking the prize so far! What is up with Ohio?
Community leaders work to head off anti-Muslim backlash as Kingston terror arrests wind up political debate
Community leaders are working to calm fears and find ways to prevent an anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant backlash in the wake of two arrests related to an alleged terrorist plot in Kingston, Ont. — yet the probe already has touched off a political debate over security screening for refugees.
Islamic community groups, mental health workers and police officers met earlier today to discuss their concerns about the broader community implications after the RCMP’s national security team charged one youth with two terrorism-related offences and arrested an adult male named Hussam Eddin Alzahabi in connection with an alleged plan to detonate explosives at an undisclosed location.
Alzahabi, who was released late today, is originally from Syria and came to Canada with his family in 2017 through a private refugee sponsorship program after living in Kuwait for 10 years. [prime example of refugee fraud because this guy was living in a safe country—ed]
Bronek Korczynski, who led the family’s sponsorship through Our Lady of Lourdes church, said the community groups that met today will attempt to head off rumours and spread the message that the alleged offences have nothing to do with Islam.
Mohamed Bayoumi of the Islamic Society of Kingston told CBC there could be an anti-Muslim backlash in the community because of the arrests, and said the group must work to ensure that does not happen.
Korczynski said he also fears the arrests and publicity surrounding the alleged terrorism case could spark unnecessary concerns about immigration.
“This certainly doesn’t suggest in any way, shape or form that Canadians shouldn’t remain open to support newcomers, whether they’re immigrants or refugees,” he said.
The backlash fears come as the political debate over immigration heats up again.
Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer, who has accused Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of maintaining lax control over the border and immigration system, attempted to assign some blame for the developments to the Liberal government.
And, they are doing their ‘good works’ with your money!
This (below) is the news today that prompted me to check in with the financial doings of Church World Service (one of nine federal refugee contractors that the Trump Administration continues to support).
What I found is that their ‘take’ of your money has increased almost $20 million in just a couple of years.
First hereis the story from ReliefWeb that got my attention:
Note their continued use of the word “refugee.”
None of those crossing the US border illegally are refugees. They won’t be refugees until they apply for and go through an asylum process and it is determined that they would be persecuted if returned home. And, that is, if they ever show up for their asylum hearing!
New York City– Church World Service today announced the launch of the CWS Resource Call Center to connect refugee families after they are released from immigration detention with support for their onward journeys. The call center, which will be available to asylum-seekers, asylees and refugees, is an ecumenical effort that will connect callers to CWS affiliate offices, CWS member congregations, and Sanctuary Churches in the communities they are traveling to who can provide local support through housing, resource sharing and friendship.
CWS has partnered with a network of migrant shelters along the U.S. southern border to provide the 1-800 number to asylum seekers who are preparing to travel to a secondary destination.
“We have heard the cries of families seeking safety at the border and watched in horror as the administration has tried to deny them their legal right to seek safety.
These families should be welcomed with the compassion and generosity that is the cornerstone of American values and Christian faith. With this new call center, people of faith around the country are stepping up to welcome asylum seekers into their communities and provide the assistance they need to start over,” said CWS President & CEO Rev. John L. McCullough.
The call center will also link people interested in providing support to asylum seekers by strategically connecting them to border shelters and receiving communities. Interested supporters can contact the call center by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

Some facts you need to see.
When I saw this story I first had a look at ProPublica which has a Non-Profit Explorerservice so reporters and the public can ostensibly get the facts. This is a screen shot of recent data on Church World Service.
Now below is what CWS and ProPublica don’t want you to see.
This is a page from the most recent Form 990 which breaks out the GOVERNMENT (taxpayer) gifts to CWS.
Now have a look at how their government grants had bumped up from two years before.
And, just so you know I’m telling the truth about the Reverend’s whopping salary, this is from that most recent Form 990 I linked above.
Charity Navigatorhas CWS at about 74% federally funded while they work hard to distribute illegal border-crossers to far-flung US towns and cities.
You will never see this news in the media anywhere but here, and the unfairness of this scam should infuriate you!
What can you do? You need to spread this news through social media and if your church denomination is one of those in bed with Church World Service, please speak up!
(If you are doing a crop walk event, then your church is aiding CWS’s political open borders agenda.)
