What are You Doing to be Ready?

I didn’t write anything yesterday, partly because I worked hard outdoors and the heat fries my brain a bit, but mostly because I was thinking about the question of being ready and how I might not be doing you a service by yammering on about wonkish policy, or which evil-doer we admitted to America has killed or raped someone,  or which creep ripped off the SNAP program or Medicaid/Medicare as if everything was normal.

Your time is limited, are you reading and yakking or preparing to stay alive and well?

It isn’t normal and I was firmly reminded of that when my friend Leo Hohmann’s post was sent to me in an e-mail from another friend asking if she and her husband could come live on our farm.  I chirped back that they were welcome as long as they brought their arsenal.

In recent days another friend told me he and his wife abruptly sold their home in Washington, DC and moved temporarily to Florida.  They had lived near the Friendship Heights section of DC that was wrecked by rioters in late May.  But, it wasn’t the noise at night from on-going unrest, it was the fact that some of their neighbors were “taking a knee” in the street and making sure others in the neighborhood were informed of their capitulation to the mob that sent them south.

So how am I not doing you a service?

Well, first you must read Leo Hohmann’s post from two days ago entitled:

Welcome to the new abnormal: How to survive the growing civil unrest

(I’m not even going to snip any of it because I want you to read it all!)

So how am I doing you a disservice?

My blogging is simply adding to your addiction to the news and taking time away from what you must be doing now—you and your family must get ready for the unimaginable as November approaches and that is the possible breakdown of civil society.

I know most of you are addicted to reading news (so am I), and it makes you feel good (maybe even smug) because you know that you know more than most people around you about what is happening with the presidential campaign, the Left’s strategies, or what dirt Ghislaine Maxwell may or may not be dumping (if they keep her alive).

But, is knowing the latest news and yakking about juicy tidbits on Twitter or Facebook, or commenting at your favorite websites and blogs going to help you survive what could happen in the coming months?

My continued writing about what the latest plans are from say Bloomberg’s New American Economy and his sidekicks at Welcoming America is, I think, a way of making you believe everything is normal and we are just having disputes between warring policy ideas for the future of America.

And, thus reading time is taking your precious time needed to prepare, to even consider moving if you live in a vulnerable location.

Maybe I’ve read too many dystopian novels, but there is no downside to being the most prepared you can be.

If the Marxists’ takeover attempt fizzles and we have a normal election and a calm aftermath as Trump is reelected then we can thank God.  But, in the meantime, it will give you some peace of mind to be ready for the worst possible outcome.

I’m not saying to stop reading altogether (you need to get the best prep ideas), but I am suggesting you sit down with your family and make plans for your immediate family and with the help of like minded patriots for your local community.

That said, I will shut up.  Definitely read Leo’s post and get to work where you live.

Dear Joe, Make My Day! Please Pick Susan Rice for the Veep Job!

After all, you are pals and she has the cred!

And, it would be so much fun to write about her here at ‘Frauds and Crooks‘ because I followed her time in the Obama White House fairly closely at RRW and have a handy archive of juicy stories to draw upon.

Kamala ‘meh!’ same for Elizabeth Warren. Some of the other names being thrown around—‘meh’ too!

But, Rice, a worthy subject deserving of whatever can be thrown at her!  And, think about it, it will be the closest thing we could have to going after Obama himself!

From The Hill:

Susan Rice sees stock rise in Biden VP race

Sens. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) are getting most of the buzz, but former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice is also getting a lot of attention in Joe Biden’s campaign as he considers who to pick as his running mate, sources say.

Rice, who also served as former President Obama’s national security adviser, has seen her stock rise amid a series of crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I know she’s very much in the mix,” a source close to the Biden campaign said.

One factor to watch is Biden’s relationship with Rice. The two worked closely in the Obama administration, and personal chemistry is an underrated factor in vice presidential decisions.

“I know they have a good relationship — perhaps the best relationship of anyone on the list,” the source close to the Biden campaign said. “They’ve known each other for years, they’ve worked alongside each other and she’s been tested in a way that a lot of folks on the list just haven’t been.”

Biden, who has committed to selecting a woman as his running mate, has said repeatedly that he is looking for someone who is “ready to be president on day one.”

Scary stuff!

“She’s a rock star who has the confidence, stature and gravitas to be vice president.”

[….]

Rice wouldn’t confirm or deny that she is “in talks with the Biden campaign” during an interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow this week.

More here.

Rice on the ticket would surely bring out gal pal Samantha Power and that would be double fun for me.

Why didn’t anyone ever write a book about the women behind Obama—Susan Rice, Samantha Power and Valerie Jarrett—sure could come in handy now!

Leo’s Latest, a Must Read: The Bolshevik army shows its face in Atlanta suburb of Stone Mountain

It really is time to get ready.  If you are like me, you might be thinking that you don’t want to imagine the worst, that things are tough enough between the Chinese Virus ‘crisis,’ the election, the riots, and the economy, but it could be worse and here Leo Hohmann tells us how bad it could get.

Conclusion: Best to swallow the red pill and be prepared.

Black Militia at Stone Mountain denounced even Black Lives Matter

From Leo Hohmann.com:

The Bolshevik army shows its face in Atlanta suburb of Stone Mountain

We’re witnessing the convulsions of a nation breaking apart at the seams.

Each new convulsion will be deeper, more traumatic and more violent than the previous.

The latest escalation occurred Saturday, July 4th, in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

According to the nonprofit group Georgia Law Enforcement, which posted a description of the event on Facebook, an armed group of “protesters” carrying AR-15 semi-automatic rifles, marched through the streets of Stone Mountain yelling threats at white people.

[….]

Let’s cut to the chase. This is the Bolshevik Army showing its face in America. They are signaling that they are for real and they are ready for action. The time for talking is over.

Black Lives Matter is just a smokescreen meant to lure in the do-gooders. You know the type, those who feel all warm and fuzzy when they virtue signal about their lily white hearts, which bleed for the oppressed while accusing America of “systemic racism.” These social-justice warriors are hopelessly lost and lacking in discernment as to where things are heading, and it may be too late to save them from what’s coming.

[….]

Short of some miracle that unites the country, neither side is going to accept the outcome of that election. Certainly not the left-leaning side.

That means more violence in November, and it will be worse than what we saw in June, far worse.

[….]

Most conservatives make the fatal mistake of underestimating their enemy. We tend to look at the mostly white rich kids knocking over statues and think this is the face of our adversaries. Weak. Pathetic.

But behind this façade is a well-trained coalition of highly trained white and black militants associated with groups like the Weather Underground and the Muslim Brotherhood. Underestimate them at your own risk.

I advise every American who is concerned about these leftwing militias to contact their local sheriff and ask him or her where they stand with regard to mobs of people tearing down monuments, shouting violent or threatening slogans, and now, increasingly, starting to arm themselves.

I’ve only snipped a very tiny bit of the post, you must read it all.

Massachusetts Man, Egyptian National, Charged in Sexual Exploitation of a Minor Case

Okay, this is a pretty straightforward story about an Egyptian who made his way to Texas allegedly to take advantage of a minor and he got caught.

Ho hum…

…but is he also the bagel guy (with the same name) from the same town in Massachusetts—Winchester?  Does anyone know?

From and ICE press release:

Unlawfully present Egyptian national charged with child exploitation-related offenses against South Texas minor

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – An Egyptian national who is illegally present in the U.S. was indicted Monday on several charges related to the alleged exploitation of a South Texas minor.

U.S. Immigration and Custom’s Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations in Corpus Christi, Texas, conducted the investigation along with the George West (Texas) Police Department, Live Oak County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office and Texas Department of Public Safety.

Ehab Sadeek, 47, who resides in Winchester, Massachusetts, was indicted June 29 by a Corpus Christi grand jury on charges of online solicitation of a minor, travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct and transfer of obscene materials to a minor. He was initially charged by criminal complaint and made an initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Julie K. Hampton. At that time, the court found probable cause that he committed the alleged offenses and ordered him into custody. He will appear again in federal court in the near future on the indictment.

The charges allege Sadeek used interstate and foreign commerce to knowingly persuade, induce, entice and coerce a minor victim in Live Oak County (Texas) to engage in sexual activity. From May 7 to May 26, Sadeek allegedly transferred obscene material to the same victim, knowing she was less than 16 years of age. According to the allegations, Sadeek traveled from Massachusetts to Texas with the intent to commit sexual offenses.

Now here is the news from ten years ago about a bagel maker who threatened to boil his daughter in the bagel kettle.  He has the same name and would be 47 years old today.  But who knows maybe (coincidentally) there are a whole passel of Ehab Sadeeks in Winchester, Mass!

From 2010 in the Boston Herald:

Staties probe possible threats against juror, lawyer

State police are investigating possible threats against a juror and a defense attorney in the case of a Muslim bagel-maker acquitted of charges he plotted to boil his teenage daughter alive in an industrial kettle.

The probe was launched yesterday to determine whether the threats warrant criminal charges.

[….]

Sadeek, 37, an Egyptian national and owner of Bagel Land in Winchester, was found not guilty March 22 of more than a dozen charges stemming from his 15-year-old daughter’s claim that he beat her, held her down with a knife and threatened to toss her in his company’s bagel boiler for dating an 18-year-old boy.

Prosecutors argued the girl’s mother fled back to Egypt in 2008 to escape her husband, and that Sadeek violated a restraining order meant to protect his daughter.

Sadeek remains in custody, pending a hearing on his immigration status.

If it is the same ‘new American’ then I guess he didn’t remain in custody for too long!

If you live in Winchester, Mass. and know if the Texas alleged Egyptian perv is the same guy as the Bagel Land Egyptian, let me know!

In Maryland Sanctuary County Unaccompanied Minors Arrested on Murder Charges

So much for the sob stories about the ‘unaccompanied minors’ (sometimes referred to as unaccompanied alien children) who enter the US without Mommy or Daddy and end up in the care of the Office of Refugee Resettlement.  Here at least four of this MS-13 gang once held that status.

If you are an MS-13 gang member, Montgomery County, Maryland is your home away from home!

From the Washington Post:

Sixth suspect arrested in Montgomery homicide involving MS-13, police say

Police arrested and charged a sixth suspect in a May 26 homicide that Montgomery County police said involved members of the MS-13 gang.

Think about it! Four of these little darlings were once ‘unaccompanied minors’ in the care of the Office of Refugee Resettlement. From left: Carlos Andres Orellana, Daniel E. Huezo Landaverde, Oscar Effrain Zavala-Urrea, Romeo Almengor Oxlaj-Lopez and Victor Alfonso Cruz-Orellana.

Jose Luis Lainez-Martinez, 26, is being held without bond on a first-degree murder charge. No attorney was listed for him in court records.

According to court documents, the homicide occurred when Francisco Medrano-Campos, a painter, left his Wheaton apartment and was ambushed by MS-13 gang members who had watched his movements and knew what time he left for work. He was shot multiple times at 7:06 a.m. and died on the scene, police said.

Weeks before the incident, Medrano-Campos had gotten into an argument with one of the suspects who had broken into his apartment and stolen $3,000 in cash and two video-game systems, court documents allege. Medrano-Campos reportedly fought back, demanding the suspect return what he stole and beating him with a lead pipe, the documents state.

“By all accounts, he was a hard-working guy who was headed to work that morning,” said Capt. Edward Pallas, director of the major crimes division at the Montgomery County Police Department, of Medrano-Campos.

Monday’s arrest of Lainez-Martinez is the latest related to the killing. On June 10, police arrested and charged five suspects — ages 19 to 21 — with one count each of first-degree murder. All were accused of playing different roles in the slaying, from lookouts to shooters, according to court documents. The suspects, Carlos Andres Orellana, 21, Daniel E. Huezo Landaverde, 19, Oscar Effrain Zavala-Urrea, 19, Romeo Almengor Oxlaj-Lopez, 20, and Victor Alfonso Cruz-Orellana, 21, are all being held without bond.

Four of the suspects — Orellana, Zavala-Urrea, Oxlaj-Lopez and Cruz-Orellana — entered the country illegally from Central America as unaccompanied minors and were transferred to the custody of the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman previously told The Washington Post. ICE asked Montgomery jail officials to notify the agency if any of the four will be released from custody, a process known as a detainer that can lead to deportation.

Deportation!  It is more likely they will get years behind bars and you will be paying for their care with your tax dollars!

I once lived in this county that is a sanctuary for scum like this.  So glad I got out when I did!
