Michigan: Three "New Americans" Arrested on Charges They Conspired to Help ISIS

According to the Lansing State Journal:

The men discussed terror attacks and sacrifice in multiple exchanges as well as their desire to kill “kuffar” — the Arabic word for a non-believer.

Bet you didn’t see this news on CNN, MSNBC or maybe even Fox News.
But, here is some pretty good reporting at the Lansing State Journal (hat tip: Leo):

LANSING – More than two years of investigation using Facebook and undercover agents led to Monday’s arrest of three Lansing men, who are now charged with conspiring to provide “material support” to an Islamic State group.
Muse Abdikadir Muse, Mohamud Abdikadir Muse and Mohamed Salat Haji were arrested Monday at Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids by members of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force federal records show. They face up to 20 years in prison.
But who are they, how did the FBI find them and what did investigators find that led to their arrest?

 
Wow! A reporter actually tells us more than we usually hear about their immigration status. You can put away your secret decoder ring. “New Americans” all!
 

Who are these men?
Mohamud Abdikadir Muse is 23. He’s also known as Abu Osama Almuhajir.
Muse Abdikadir Muse is 20. He’s Mohamud’s younger brother and is also known as Ali Almuhajir.
Mohamed Salat Haji is 26. He is Muse and Mohamud’s cousin and brother-in-law, according to federal documents. He’s also known as Salamujahid Almuhajir.
All three men were born in Kenya. [I’m guessing they were born in one of the big UN camps that house mostly Somalis. We take huge numbers of refugees from these camps.—-ed]
The Muse brothers became U.S. citizens when their parents were naturalized.
Haji is also now a U.S. citizen.
All three have pledged loyalty to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, according to a federal complaint filed in Grand Rapids.

The investigation began when the three yakked on Facebook.

How did the FBI find the men?
According to the federal complaint, a Facebook account for “Mohamud A Musa” caught the eye of FBI agents around April 2016.

Church World Service Sets Up Hotline to Connect Illegal Aliens to Sanctuary Locations in US

And, they are doing their ‘good works’ with your money!

Coming to a town near you thanks to Church World Service! You pay for their ‘Christian charity!’

 
This (below) is the news today that prompted me to check in with the financial doings of Church World Service (one of nine federal refugee contractors that the Trump Administration continues to support).
What I found is that their ‘take’ of your money has increased almost $20 million in just a couple of years.
In the most recent Form 990 available (filed June 30, 2017) they were awarded $68 million from the US Treasury, up from $50 million just two years earlier.
First here is the story from ReliefWeb that got my attention:
Note their continued use of the word “refugee.”
None of those crossing the US border illegally are refugees.  They won’t be refugees until they apply for and go through an asylum process and it is determined that they would be persecuted if returned home.  And, that is, if they ever show up for their asylum hearing!

New York City– Church World Service today announced the launch of the CWS Resource Call Center to connect refugee families after they are released from immigration detention with support for their onward journeys. The call center, which will be available to asylum-seekers, asylees and refugees, is an ecumenical effort that will connect callers to CWS affiliate offices, CWS member congregations, and Sanctuary Churches in the communities they are traveling to who can provide local support through housing, resource sharing and friendship.

Doing well by doing good (on your tax dollars)! The good Reverend pulls down a compensation package of over $345,000 annually (see below) as head honcho of CWS.

CWS has partnered with a network of migrant shelters along the U.S. southern border to provide the 1-800 number to asylum seekers who are preparing to travel to a secondary destination.
“We have heard the cries of families seeking safety at the border and watched in horror as the administration has tried to deny them their legal right to seek safety.
These families should be welcomed with the compassion and generosity that is the cornerstone of American values and Christian faith. With this new call center, people of faith around the country are stepping up to welcome asylum seekers into their communities and provide the assistance they need to start over,” said CWS President & CEO Rev. John L. McCullough.

The call center will also link people interested in providing support to asylum seekers by strategically connecting them to border shelters and receiving communities. Interested supporters can contact the call center by emailing resourcecenter@cwsglobal.org.

When I saw this story I first had a look at ProPublica which has a Non-Profit Explorer service so reporters and the public can ostensibly get the facts.  This is a screen shot of recent data on Church World Service.

See the $93 million in contributions! The average citizen or lazy biased reporter is going to assume they received all of that money from generous church goers, private citizens, and private companies and charities, right!

 
Now below is what CWS and ProPublica don’t want you to see.
This is a page from the most recent Form 990 which breaks out the GOVERNMENT (taxpayer) gifts to CWS.

Add the $68+ million in government grants to the $24+ million they raised privately and it comes to the $93 million that ProPublica wants everyone to think they raised from the generosity of good church people.

 
Now have a look at how their government grants had bumped up from two years before.

Notice that their private contributions haven’t changed much except that they were a bit higher in this earlier year.

 
And, just so you know I’m telling the truth about the Reverend’s whopping salary, this is from that most recent Form 990 I linked above.

Charity Navigator has CWS at about 74% federally funded while they work hard to distribute illegal border-crossers to far-flung US towns and cities.
You will never see this news in the media anywhere but here, and the unfairness of this scam should infuriate you!

Is Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar a Poster Child for Refugee Fraud?

One of the most maddening things one observes when following the US Refugee Admissions Program is that the word “refugee” has been so bastardized by the Left that it has no real meaning.
Everyone on the move in the world is not a refugee!

To be a legitimate refugee one must have a credible fear of being PERSECUTED if returned to the country of one’s persecution—in Omar’s case Somalia. 
Yet, time and again, we see refugees popping “home” to take care of unfinished financial business, like selling a house, visiting grandma, or carrying money back in suitcases!
Where is the fear?
In case you are one of those Americans (there are many because I’ve heard from them!) who were under the impression that refugees go home when the conflict (or whatever) that allowed them to come live here is over, you are misinformed.
‘Refugees’ are here permanently!
No wonder when the average American learns even the most rudimentary bits of information about the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program shock turns to sneering disgust. 

We are being played!

Yesterday, PJ Media published a lengthy and detailed expose’ on newly elected Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar that is worth reading.  Did you know that Nancy Pelosi will allow her to sit on the Foreign Relations Committee!
You need to read it all, but for my purposes, the information about her trips to Somalia put a lie to her fear of persecution that supposedly was the reason she and her extended family are here in the first place.

Any significant involvement by a U.S. citizen in Somalia’s election process would likely raise eyebrows at America’s intelligence agencies.
On December 20, 2016, just a few weeks after her election to Minnesota’s state legislature, Ilhan Omar was in Mogadishu with then-President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, a favorite for re-election. He reportedly invited her to appear with him prior to the election taking place.
Omar likely met at least one other Somali presidential candidate on her trip. According to a speech by her soon-to-be husband Ahmed Hirsi, Ilhan had just flown from Nairobi to Mogadishu on a plane with former Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, known as “Farmaajo” (“Cheese”).
Farmaajo — a U.S. citizen who, inconceivably, had boarded that plane as a Buffalo, NY, cubicle employee of the New York Department of Transportation — was the eventual surprise winner of Somalia’s presidency on February 8, 2017.

North Carolina: A Non-citizen Who Voted in Three Elections Gets a Small Fine

The judge in the case said the Election Board officials who registered her “don’t know what they are doing.”  Or do they?
I’ve had this story for a few days (thanks to reader Nancy), but am just getting to it because of the more pressing news from Nevada, Ohio and Virginia.

A permanent resident of North Carolina will not face prison time after she was illegally allowed to vote in three separate elections.
voted stickersHyo Suk George, 70, was charged with illegal voting by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security after she reportedly voted in 2008, 2010 and 2016 in Columbus County. Instead of sentencing George to six months in prison, U.S. District Judge Terrence Boyle fined George $100.
George arrived in the United States from South Korea in 1989. She got a green card in 1995 and has worked in housekeeping and the fast-food industry, her federal public defender Sherri Alspaugh said. She registered to vote “next to the senior center” after taking the advice of a town council member, according to the News & Observer. [They should be naming the town council member!]
Alspaugh said her client did not remember whether she registered at the county board or a library, but said there were likely volunteers working registration.
judge boyleIn his ruling, Boyle also expressed frustration toward the election board in Whiteville, North Carolina, because it allowed George to register to vote using her green card, Social Security number and driver’s license, the News & Observer reported.
“So they see a green card and say, ‘That’s OK’ because they don’t know what they’re doing,” the judge said. “They ought to be a little smarter than that.”
Boyle added that the same amount of attention that is placed on voters should be placed on educating election officials. Green cards give immigrants permanent residency in the United States but not citizenship. Only U.S. citizens are allowed to vote.
An investigation by the North Carolina Board of Elections found that 508 voters who cast ballots in the 2016 election were ineligible to vote. Of those, 441 voters were individuals serving active felony sentences. Only convicted felons who have completed their sentences are allowed to vote in North Carolina.
The election board also found that 41 noncitizens voted and 24 voters cast ballots twice. Two individuals reportedly voted using the names of family members who had recently died, the News & Observer reported at the time.

Virginia: Fairfax County PD still looking for more victims of Mumtaz Rauf

Readers may remember that Rauf was initially arrested in December when he was found to be filming, using a pinhole camera, women in dressing rooms in several Northern Virginia malls.

Three new victims (of over 100!) have come forward and police have put out this new appeal in an attempt to find more of the women who can be seen on Rauf’s images.

 

Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau have identified three additional victims recorded in dressing rooms over the holidays. Over 100 videos were found on the phone of 39-year-old Mumtaz Rauf. Rauf, of Alexandria, was arrested for unlawful filming of a minor December 24th after officers were called to the Forever 21 clothing store based on a complaint by an observant teenage girl.
Rauf is now facing three new charges for unlawful videotaping, two class one misdemeanors and one felony. This is after detectives were able to identify two adult female victims and one additional female juvenile victim. In all three cases, the victims contacted our Department through our hotline and texting option after believing they may have been recorded in December.

Rauf was arrested at two this afternoon and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he is being held on $7,000 bond. We are working in close coordination with the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney, and will continue to update them on our investigation.
We are asking for anyone to contact us who was shopping at Forever 21, Gap, H&M, and Old Navy between December 15th and 24th at Fair Lakes Promenade, Fair Oaks Mall, Springfield Town Center, and Tysons Corner Center.
More than 289 community members have reached out to us since we first setup the hotline January 3rd. Detectives still want to speak to anyone who was potentially videotaped. We did have a brief technical glitch with our hotline. If you tried to reach us and were unsuccessful, we ask you please try again as detectives strive to identify all victims in this case.

Kind of creepy to think about!

Ladies, you need to be as watchful as that first teen was, and check those dressing rooms carefully before you take off your clothes!
I’m only guessing, but I suspect Rauf’s films have been, or would have been, sold.
