“Mustafa had never been an American. He had always been a citizen of the ISIS Caliphate.”
(Daniel Greenfield, Frontpage magazine)
Daniel Greenfield, writing at Frontpage magazine has more details about how Mustafa Mousab Alowemergot into America, how his family lived isolating themselves from their black neighbors in Pittsburgh, how the ‘robust screening’ process for refugees missed him, and gives more details on how the plot would have been carried out.
Alowemer had even planned to set a timer and get to his mosque before the bomb exploded, thus providing himself with an alibi.
My posts on the foiled Islamic terror plot are here and here.
See what Greenfield has to say and see my research on the number of Syrians Obama actually admitted to the US in his last full year in office.
It is worse than I thought. And, by the way, Pennsylvania ‘welcomed’ the fifth highest number of Syrian Muslims to the US.
But, of course, they are not resettled in the better (wealthier) neighborhoods!
Thanks to a reader for sending the mayor’s declaration reported here at Frontpagemagazine, but there is more as the mayor who in 2015 asked then President Obama for 100,000 Syrians to be admitted to the US.
A Syrian refugee resettled in 2016 was arrested for plotting to bomb a poor “multicultural” church that was the church home for African migrants from Nigeria according to several news accounts.
I wouldn’t even be bothered telling you about Mayor Peduto’s defense of refugees that have swamped ‘welcoming’ Pittsburgh in recent years if it weren’t for the fact that Peduto was one of 18 mayorswho penned a letter to President Obama in 2015 insisting that the US must take in 100,000 Syrians in 2016. Obama was proposing 10,000. Text of the letter is here.
One more ‘new American’ Islamic terrorist wannabe would probably not be worth writing about, but because I’ve been telling you about Bangladeshi Muslims lately, first as illegal aliens at the southern border and then as big ‘winners’ in the past of the Diversity Visa Lottery, this man’s nationality jumped out at me when I heard it on the news yesterday.
As a legal permanent resident from Bangladesh he is one of more than 50,000 of his fellow countrymen who have come to live in the US in recent years.
We know it is at least 50,000 because Bangladesh citizens are no longer eligible for the lottery because that number (and more!) entered the US in the previous five years.
I’m laughing as I write this because what ever made the FBI think they could trust a translator who is Somali to help surveil a fellow Somali.
But, then again, this is an Obama-era FBI pick. Let’s hope the Trump FBI is wiser and smarter.
The bare bones news about the “Virginia man” is hereat the US Justice Departmentwebsite (hat tip: Cathy), but believe it or not, I see that CNNhas excellent coverage in my quick look around at which media outlets were onto the story.
This story has been in my queue for a couple of weeks and am finally getting to it.
What is so galling about the news is that our law enforcement has spent time and (our) money to investigate a crime and now incarcerate a man for something that has nothing to do with us.
We apparently ‘welcomed’ a Yemeni family to live in the Buffalo, NY area who brought all of their cultural/religious baggage to America (and even went ‘home’ for awhile) and we get to straighten out the mess the ‘new Americans’ created.
By the way, Yemen is one of the countries now on Trump’s so-called Muslim ban list!
“From her home in Cudahy, Dais promoted ISIS’s hateful, violent agenda and provided detailed instructions on how to harm innocent people.”
(U.S. Attorney Matthew Krueger)
You’ve likely seen the news this morning about the guilty plea of a former Israeli (Israel does have Arab residents), Waheba Issa Dais, for using social media to educate ISIS lovers the world over on how to make bombs, but the point I want to make is that ‘new American’ terrorists aren’t hiding out in big city America, but could be just down the street from you in middle America.
Cudahy, population less than 20,000 at last count, is making headlines.
Of course in none of the news accounts I read, did we learn how she came to be living in a small American city.
