Oklahoma City: African “Man” Charged with Sexually Assaulting Convenience Store Clerk

Here we go again, get out your secret decoder ring to try to figure out where this likely ‘new American’ came from and how he got here, but good luck with that!

Every time I am sent a story like this the question I am asked is—is this guy a refugee?  And, every time I give an answer like this:

Unless someone slips up in either law enforcement, or some family member steps forward to proclaim the innocence of one of these creeps, you will rarely be told from which country the perp came and which of the MANY legal or illegal pathways the “man” used to get here.

LOL! That information would of course be “perpetuating stereotypes!”

For the refugee question, sometimes if you find out that the person being charged in a crime was from a country that has sent us tens of thousands of their people, you can make an educated guess.  For example, if the perp is Somali, Ethiopian, Congolese, Burmese, Iraqi or from Afghanistan, you could guess, and guess correctly, that the “man” in the news is a refugee.

Sometimes you can make an educated guess based on the location of the incident.  For instance a “man” with a Somali name committing a crime in Minnesota is likely a refugee. Duh!

So, just as Illegal Alien Crime Report does, call him an “African Migrant.”

African ‘Migrant’ Charged With Sexually Assaulting Convenience Store Clerk

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – On the morning of July 4, police arrested Hakeem Sanusi, 34, after her reportedly sexually assaulted a woman working alone in a convenience store in northwest Oklahoma City. In order to protect the victim’s privacy, the police have not released the store’s exact location.

The crime reporter website then sends us to booking information, but of course no information on whether he is legally or illegally in the country.

A cursory search informed me that Sanusi is a Muslim surname.

Then here is the headline of the local news account.  Just some random man, no photo.

Man arrested for alleged sexual assault of Oklahoma City convenience store clerk

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A northwest Oklahoma City convenience store clerk says she was sexually assaulted by a customer while on the job.

The suspect, 34-year-old Hakeem Sanusi is now facing charges in the alleged attack.

“It was over the weekend that police were made aware of a sexual assault at a convenience store in Northwest Oklahoma City,” said MSgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD).

“No one was in the store except for an employee,” Knight said.

Police say Sanusi made inappropriate comments to the alleged victim.

The woman telling officers Hakeem is a regular at the store during the overnight hours, and frequently makes inappropriate statements, making her feel uncomfortable.

The woman claims Sanusi told her, quote, “nothing better come of this.”

Not long after – she was able to call the police.

“Officers at the scene were able to look at surveillance video of the man and get him identified very quickly,” Knight said.

Police say Sanusi was located at a nearby neighborhood – and arrested.

Calling all of you who possess secret decoder rings, let me know if you learn more about Hakeem!

Group Organizing Another Demonstration for January 6th Political Prisoners

A couple of friends sent me this news about a rally on Saturday in Washington, DC to protest the incarceration of many arrested on January 6th, some of whom are in solitary confinement and many without even having charges filed against them.

It is such a relief to see that some patriots are taking action to protest this shameful act of political persecution.

I have no time to go into the details because I want to get over to RRW before I run out of steam today.  (Been out early slaving in the north 40, so to speak.)

Learn more about it here and see that there are satellite rallies being held elsewhere in the country as well.  Note that the Arizona rally is tomorrow.

How Fast Could You Get Your Gun in a Home Invasion?

I saw this news yesterday at The Blaze and was pretty impressed that a senior couple was ready and willing to blast a home invader as he attempted to break down their door while they ate breakfast.

And, I fully expected by today to have a name and photo of the invader who the homeowners shot dead especially because we are told he was on parole from a previous home invasion arrest.

I sure couldn’t find a name or a photo!  The story is nevertheless worth posting as a cautionary tale.  Many of us would be ready for an invasion after dark, but heck in the a.m. the doors are open, at least in my house, and weapons aren’t just laying around at the breakfast table.

Of course you could be one of those families I heard about recently who has a 9mm home defense handgun in most every room (presumably with no kiddos living there).

Check it out, really nice neighborhood ….

From The Blaze:

Armed man on parole kicks down door, enters home while couple in their 60s eats breakfast. But homeowner also has a gun — and fatally shoots intruder.

A California couple in their 60s were having breakfast Tuesday morning when they heard a knock at their door, followed by an attempt to kick down the door after they didn’t respond to the knock, Fairfield police said.

What happened next?

A Facebook post from Councilwoman Catherine Moy indicated the homeowner saw the suspect on his Ring surveillance camera.

The husband, fearing for his life and his wife’s safety, grabbed his legally owned gun to defend them, police said. Moy’s post said it was a .357 Magnum.

The intruder then broke down the door completely and entered the residence, police said.

With that, the husband fired at the intruder, who fled from the home, police said. Moy’s post said the homeowner shot twice at the intruder and hit him in the chest area.

[….]

Authorities said the intruder [who was found with a semi-automatic handgun.—ed] was a 27-year-old male from nearby Suisun City who was on parole for a violent crime in Alameda County. KTVU reported that the crime for which he was on parole was a home invasion.

Here is another story with a few extra nuggets of information.

Let me know if you find a name and a pic of the dead intruder.

And, would you be ready at breakfast?

White House Audacity! It is Republicans Who Want to Defund the Police!

For the last week or so, the Dems have been (hilariously!) beating a drum trying to flip the narrative and blame the Republicans for defunding the police as they eye the 2022 midterm elections while rising crime has voters nervous.

But, it isn’t so funny when you see the White House is in on the action and literally repeating that Big Lie.

Do they think we are stupid, that we didn’t watch BLM and Antifa demanding the police be defunded for the last year with Democrat weaklings parroting their Commie agitator friends and taking their hefty campaign donations.

Look at all these rowdy Republicans!

Getty images has over 2000 shots like these!

And how about this little nugget….

Here is the news about the White House scrambling to point a finger at Republicans….

From NBC News which is working really, really hard to help ol’ Joe distance himself from his pals—BLM and Antifa.

White House: Actually, Republicans are trying to defund the police

WASHINGTON — The White House is responding to relentless Republican charges that it wants to “defund the police” by embracing the message that there are, in fact, politicians angling to starve law enforcement of needed money: congressional Republicans.

The White House launched the counteroffensive as advisers push to shore up President Joe Biden’s low approval on crime*** and fight an attack that could damage Democrats in the midterm elections next year.

Congressional Democrats are amplifying the push, highlighting their support for bills that would boost money for policing. They cite Republican opposition to the measures, along with the party’s lack of interest in investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, which left a police officer dead and many more injured, to claim that Republicans aren’t the party of law enforcement.

[….]

“The president, with the backing of leading law enforcement groups, secured the money that his predecessor opposed — to keep cops on the beat — and every single Republican member of Congress voted against it,” White House spokesman Andrew Bates said. “The GOP continues to oppose the American Rescue Plan even as it delivers the rehiring of police in their districts.”

Republicans are seizing on rising concerns about crime to try to recapture control of Congress next year. Biden is vulnerable on the issue — a new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds that 38 percent approve of his handling of crime, while 48 percent disapprove and 14 percent have no opinion.

USA Today/Ipsos poll released in March found that just 18 percent of Americans supported the “defund the police” movement.

In an op-ed Monday for Fox News, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, slammed the White House’s argument as “gaslighting,” calling it a “desperate ploy to escape blame for rising crime rates.”

There is more here.

The Socialists/Communists (with their friends in the fake news media) are really good at this—they just keep repeating a lie and eventually everyone believes it.

It won’t work this time because unfortunately for them for over a year we all watched who was attacking law enforcement both physically and financially and it wasn’t America First Republicans.

Texas: Is Death Penalty Still on the Table in Another County?

If Dallas County won’t seek the death penalty in the serial murder trial (s) later this year of Billy Chemirmir, maybe Collin County will.

See my posts last week:

Texas: Families Shocked by Prosecutors’ Decisions in the Kenyan Killer Case

Daniel Horowitz at Blaze Media Posts Excellent Analysis of Texas Kenyan Killer Case

Here is the Dallas Morning News on this latest twist:

After Dallas County decision, some call for Collin County to seek death for murder suspect Chemirmir

After Dallas County’s proceedings are complete, Collin County will have a chance to try Billy Chemirmir for cases in Frisco and Plano and could seek his execution.

When Dallas County’s district attorney announced he wouldn’t seek the execution of a man suspected in at least 24 killings, some of the families of the dead and the DA’s political critics shifted their hopes to another venue just across the county line.

Citing logistical challenges, District Attorney John Creuzot told the families he was going to focus on obtaining consecutive life-without-parole prison sentences for Billy Chemirmir, who has been charged with 13 counts of capital murder in Dallas County after he was accused of smothering elderly women and stealing their jewelry, cash and other valuables.

But Chemirmir could still face the death penalty on five similar charges in Collin County.

[….]

State Rep. Jared Patterson, R-Frisco, said last week that he hopes Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis will step up where he says Creuzot walked away.

In response to the deaths, Patterson filed a series of bills during the recent legislative session to improve senior security and change death certificate procedures. Now, he has called on Willis to seek the death penalty, calling Creuzot a “coward” on Twitter.

“It’s a pattern we’re seeing in Dallas of lawlessness being acceptable,” Patterson said Wednesday, pointing to Creuzot’s decisions not to prosecute some minor crimes such as low-level theft. “If you are going to murder 18 to 24 people and not get the death penalty, then what are we doing?”

One of the cases cited in the Dallas Morning News story is that of the murder of Carolyn MacPhee who lived in Plano, in Collin County.

I wrote about her son’s story here in February:

Serial Killers are Getting Away with Murder and Not Just in Texas

To me the story of the death of Carolyn MacPhee exemplifies the careless investigations by law enforcement and medical examiners of many of Chemirmir’s murder victims.

They seemed to operate under the assumption that seniors die suddenly for no reason, so just move along.

Even when there is blood smeared throughout the house?

Here is what the Texas Observer says about it:

https://obits.dallasnews.com/us/obituaries/dallasmorningnews/name/carolyn-macphee-obituary?id=1612422

Carolyn MacPhee met Chemirmir in October 2016 when her husband of nearly 60 years, Jack, was dying of a progressive nervous system disorder. The MacPhees had met in the 1950s at Washington State University in Pullman. Even in her early 80s, Carolyn still had the flair of the girl she’d been when they became college sweethearts. She didn’t want to send Jack to an institution, but needed help to care for him in their Plano home. She found Chemirmir, who was working under the alias Benjamin Koitaba, through a service that claimed to vet home health workers, although Chemirmir, using a fake ID and already with a criminal record, should not have passed a background check.

“Koitaba” worked as a replacement caregiver in the MacPhees’ home off and on for four months—long enough to learn the family’s routine and the layout of their home. As part of the care team, he received notice when Jack died. He came back to murder his former patient’s widow six months later, according to a Collin County indictment. When found on Sunday, December 31, 2017, Carolyn was dressed up and ready to go out to church.

Her son, Scott MacPhee, came to his mother’s house to meet Plano police officers that day. He was mystified by what he observed: “It was cold that day, but her coat had disappeared. And two valuable rings she always wore were missing.” He challenged a Plano detective about the missing items, but the response was, according to him, “Old people hide their stuff.” There was blood in the bathroom, in the garage, near her body, and even on her glasses. And yet his mother had no obvious wounds. Officers collected no samples of the blood. Nor did they take photos or videos, he said. No autopsy was ordered by Collin County officials.

The death investigation seemed like a whirlwind, Scott said: “We found her, the cops show up, the paramedics show up, the CSI department shows up, and they rope things off, they do all their investigation, and the detective says she died of natural causes.”

Months later, when he saw the news stories about Chemirmir’s arrest and all the other killings and robberies of older women, he called police again. Eventually, they called back. Through cell phone records, investigators told him they knew that Chemirmir had visited his mother’s home on the day she died. They requested her bloodstained glasses, which he had saved. On them was Chemirmir’s DNA.

So far, Carolyn MacPhee is the only victim whom police have identified among Chemirmir’s former home health clients, although he worked in other homes between 2013 and 2019, her son said. In that same period, police say he was carrying outserial murders.

What Scott can’t stop wondering is this: How many elderly people were marked as natural deaths whose deaths were not natural at all? Publicly, the Plano, Dallas, and Richardson police departments have said that they are reviewing more than 750 other unassisted elderly deaths over the past 10 years, but Scott is skeptical of their commitment to the cold murder cases. “I have no evidence they’ve done that. I’ve seen no more indictments.”

He now suspects his mom, fit and feisty, died only after trying to fight off her killer. He believes other lives could have been saved if the blood the killer left behind in his mother’s home had been tested sooner. “Nothing is going to bring her back, he said. “But if only that detective unit had a little more intellectual curiosity, how many other people’s mothers could have been spared?”

So profoundly sad.
