That headline is not exactly correct! You, the American taxpayers, pay for Day Care training so refugees who have been in the country for less than five years can have “culturally appropriate” child care, and get paid to stay home with their own kids and a few others.
I’ve written about this grant program provided by the federal Office of Refugee Resettlementover the years (see one 2015 storyat RRW), but a story from Iowa (hat tip: Joanne) reminds me I should tell new readers about it especially in light of news I’ve posted here since January about how just this type of taxpayer-funded day care leads to fraud.
In one case, the day care provider paid other families to pretend to drop off kids and then the provider submitted for payment an inflated number of attendees.
I guess Jama Osman will have to convince a court of that, but it sure looks like the feds have got the goods on him!
The feds are suing him and want the three homes Osman allegedly purchased with taxpayer dollars stolen from SNAP and WIC programs.
By the way, when you read the story note that he uses a tactic that I haven’t seen before that involves allowing customers to scan bar codes for approved items, but then giving them some cash back (after he took his cut!).
Medicaid provides health coverage to millions of Americans, including eligible low-income adults, children, pregnant women, elderly adults and people with disabilities. Medicaid is administered by states, according to federal requirements. The program is funded jointly by states and the federal government.
And, according to the feds last analysis 65.9 million (‘poor’) people are covered. That is over 20% of the entire US population! And, if the ‘progressives’ at the ACLU have their way that number will rise.
I’ve been writing about Medicaid (and Medicare) fraud, and this is one more example of the expansion of these fraud-ridden programs as part of the Left’s agenda to move America toward a socialist form of government. (Don’t miss Leo Hohmann’s call to armsin my previous post.)
NumbersUSA is urging its supporters to get behind this legislation.
Coming to America to have a baby has got to be one of the biggest frauds perpetrated on Americans.
You can’t go to any other major country in the world (except Canada), have a baby and claim a right for that child to be a citizen of the country in which the mother happened to give birth. The practice has actually become an industry in some parts of the US.
For the fifth consecutive Congress, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) has introduced H.R. 140, the Birthright Citizenship Act, that would prevent children born to illegal-alien parents in the United States from automatically receiving U.S. citizenship. The bill was introduced with 20 original cosponsors.
The Birthright Citizenship Act would restrict the granting of automatic citizenship to newborns who have at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. The legislation would also allow the granting of automatic citizenship to newborns who have at least one parent who is an alien serving the armed forces.
The Birthright Citizenship Act is one of NumbersUSA’s 5 Great Solutions to reforming the nation’s immigration system. The United States is one of only two industrialized nations (Canada) to still grant automatic citizenship to all children born in the country.
Below are the brave co-sponsors so far. Numbers wants you to put pressure on your member of Congress to grow a spine and support H.R. 140.

Why don’t the rest of the Republicans get it—this scam is about giving birth to the next generation of Democrats!
