Reports so far are sketchy, but last night a mother who was packing a fire arm was able to stop what appears to be a kidnap attempt involving her 5-year old daughter.
Mohammad Fathy Hussein Zayan is under arrest after he allegedly grabbed the young girl by her hair and attempted to drag her away from her mother.

North Carolina County Taxpayers Spent $5000 to Hear Linda Sarsour Vent
What is going on in North Carolina? I often hear people from the Northeast say they are heading down to live/retire in the Carolinas to get away from high taxes and liberal government policies, but I would think really long and hard about choosing North Carolina.
The political Leftwing is working day and night, year after year, to change North Carolina (by changing the people!). When I was writing at Refugee Resettlement Watch I was puzzled by the push for more refugees to be placed there and I even noted that some world famous Islamic terrorists like KSM went to college in the Tar Heel State.
As I noted the other day, North Carolina, even under Donald Trump, is the fifth most ‘welcoming’ refugee resettlement state in the nation.
Now to the news about the Sarsour event, put on by the taxpayer-funded ‘Human Relations Commission’……

Pope Reignites the Wall-is-Immoral Meme on Return from Morocco
Reuters has a story yesterday about the Pope, although not naming Donald Trump by name, speaking critically of any world leader who builds walls to keep out migrants.
However, it isn’t the first time the socialist Pope voiced his opposition to walls and spoke instead in favor of social justice to solve the ills of the world.
But, what is so galling with his view is the fact that the Vatican has a wall! The Vatican wall was built to repel Muslim pirates (invaders!) centuries ago!
Never forget that one of the things the pirates were after in Europe were white slaves!

I am terrible at keeping up with reviewing comments. I write a post and then dash off to do some other work hanging over my head and often don’t get back to the computer for hours, sometimes not until the next day. So if you have been wondering why you don’t see your comments, that is the usual reason.
However, yesterday I discovered that wordpress has been busily dumping comments into a spam folder, even from those of you who have been regular visitors! I retrieved a few, but promise to keep a closer eye on that in the future.

You will see at the end of each post, the post is categorized and tagged. If you see a tag for your state, click on it and you will see other posts about news in your state. After awhile I plan to do a survey to see which states have the most stories about frauds, crooks and criminals!
Ideas for what to do!
I’ve been trying to add suggestions at the end of each post on what you might do about the news. However, some news simply doesn’t lend itself to action suggestions. Some are just so dreadful all you can do is shake your head in disgust.

Virginia: Salvadoran 'Dreamer' Sentenced to Life in Prison for Rape/Murder of Muslim Teen
You might remember the story from June 2017, when a Muslim teen was beaten to death and the local Muslim community and its media mouthpieces were absolutely sure her death was the result of rampant Islamophobia, but as I said here at the time:
…there is no Islamophobic Rightwing redneck American to blame here.
Just a run of the mill case of an illegal alien animal free to roam America thanks to our failed immigration system—our failure to close the border, then and now!
