Movita Johnson-Harrell has been charged (and plead guilty!) in a massive fraud scheme involving embezzlement from Medicare and Medicaid, charity fraud, and other assorted fraudulent schemes.
Although the story did get a fair amount of media coverage, I hadn’t heard about it until a reader, Judy, alerted me to a detailed article at American Thinkerentitled:
Movita Johnson-Harrell seemed to take pride in her position as the first Muslim woman elected to the Pennsylvania State Legislature. Now that record will forever have an asterisk next to it as Johnson-Harrell has turned herself in to Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro’s Office, pleading guilty on charges of perjury, record tampering, and embezzling over $500,000 in Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security disability funds, as well as donations to Motivations Education and Consultation Associates (MECA), a charity she established to allegedly serve the mentally ill and drug addicted poor in her predominately African-American neighborhood.

In a press conference, Attorney General Shapiro described Johnson-Harrell’s actions as “brazen corruption… her theft knew no bounds.” Johnson-Harrell stole funds that personally belonged to the residents of her facilities and used it to purchase fox furs, trips to Mexico, to make payments on a Porsche, pay delinquent utility bills, cover her granddaughter’s private school tuition and even fund her political campaign. After the facility, where residents were living in squalor, was closed, Johnson-Harrell continued collecting their rent from MECA even though the facilities were no longer operating.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Johnson-Harrell’s dereliction of duty extended to her short time as a Pennsylvania state representative.
During her brief period in office, Johnson-Harrell seemed to spend the majority of her time celebrating herself as the first Muslim woman elected to the state legislature, and helping to fundraise and advocate for the Hamas-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).
Two months after being in office Johnson Harrell flew across the country to Washington State to stand with anti-Israel BDS supporter Congresswoman Ilhan Omar at a CAIR fundraiser with a separatist theme “Muslim Power for 2020 & Beyond.”

I’m joking, but because I see so many stories, I do wonder if there are Muslim training programs that teach their followers how to scam the infidels through Medicare and Medicaid fraud, Food Stamp fraud and the all-too-common Day Care Fraud.
With how far Left Pennsylvania is moving, I’m actually surprised the Attorney General would go after a Muslim ‘rising star.’

I don’t know how many of you are interested in refugee issues, but there is no shortage of refugee criminals and terrorist wannabees that are ignored by the refugee industry working against the President.
Because the FBI foiled a 2010 plot to bomb Portland’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony, these Americans enjoyed the festive event.

FBI thwarts terrorist bombing attempt at Portland holiday tree lighting, authorities say
The FBI thwarted an attempted terrorist bombing in Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square before the city’s annual tree-lighting Friday night, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Oregon.
A Corvallis man, thinking he was going to ignite a bomb, drove a van to the corner of the square at Southwest Yamhill Street and Sixth Avenue and attempted to detonate it.
However, the supposed explosive was a dummy that FBI operatives supplied to him.

Mohamed Osman Mohamud,19, a Somali-born U.S. citizen, was arrested at 5:42 p.m., 18 minutes before the tree lighting was to occur, on an accusation of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction. The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The arrest was the culmination of a long-term undercover operation, during which Mohamud had been monitored for months as his alleged bomb plot developed.

Surely you’ve seen the news, but what interested me most this morning is that the usual major news sources, even Fox News, have very few details. So, why is it that we have to go to the UK Daily Mail(again!) to get more.

In recent weeks, 18 naval aviators and two aircrew members from the Royal Saudi Naval Forces were training with the US Navy, including at Pensacola, according to a November 15 press release from the Navy. It was not clear if the suspected shooter was part of that delegation.
The delegation came under a Navy program that offers training to US allies, known as the Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity.
A person familiar with the program said that Saudi Air Force officers selected for military training in the United States are intensely vetted by both countries. [We are so stupid, they are skilled liars!—ed]
Amazing how we didn’t learn anything from 911. We don’t need to invite any Saudis to America, let alone to train them to fly.
And, for goodness sake, this attack happened on a Navy base, but it required local police to take out the shooter. Why aren’t there armed Navy men and women protecting the base? (While dreadful people like Mohammed obviously carry guns on base!)
This news from Fox Newsyesterday reminded me of a reader atRefugee Resettlement Watch who sent me information and stories to post for probably a year or so.
She (I think the tipster was a she!) told me how important fire is as a weapon of jihad as she often found stories about mysterious fires, not just forest fires, that she identified as linked to an Islamic imperative—to wage jihad.
I haven’t heard from her for about five years, but her admonitions about fire jihad stuck with me.
ISIS encouraging followers to set wildfires in forests, fields of US, Europe
The Islamic State terror group may have recently lost its leader, but a media outlet affiliated with the group is urging followers to continue to literally set ablaze new paths of terror and destruction.
At least four propaganda posters have appeared in recent months from the pro-ISIS media outlet Quraysh Media that have encouraged followers to “ignite fires” of their own, literally setting wildfires in the U.S. and Europe as a means of “waging jihad,” according to the Middle East Media Research Institute.
MEMRI, which tracks communications of radical groups, said the first poster in the series was published in April.
“Oh monotheists [followers of ISIS], ignite fires in the forests and fields, and we are addressing especially those who live in Europe and America, for they are painful to them,” the poster read, according to MEMRI.

It would be pretty darn easy! And, even if authorities suspected that type of arson, they would likely keep it from us and blame global warming instead.

The Diversity Visa Lottery, also known as (the Green Card Lottery) is an immigration program by which immigrants from nations with usually low rates of immigration to the United States are able to apply for a visa online. The platform, however, has been used by terrorists to penetrate America.
On October 31, 2017, Sayfullo Saipov used a rental pickup truck to deliberately mow down pedestrians. After killing eight and injuring 13, he left the truck and shouted, “Allahu Akbar.” Sayfullo is an Uzbekistan national and came to America in 2010.Later officials found a note about his allegiance to ISIS. This attack immediately received worldwide reaction from other lawmakers including the US. A bill proposed in August that would slash legal immigration levels in half over a decade also would eliminate the lottery program.
The bill went to the House and overwhelmingly passed, but halted in the Senate. Each year, the Diversity Visa Program accepts 50,000 randomly selected people — only from countries that don’t send many immigrants to the United States — to obtain permanent residency (commonly called a “green card”). It’s a way for individuals and families who otherwise wouldn’t have any way to legally immigrate to the United States to get a green card.
The program is often seen as one that should be ended in a shift toward a more merit-based system. According to Heritage Foundation: “It does not bolster the skills of the American workforce, nor does it reunite families or serve any humanitarian function. Its only purpose is to increase ethnic and cultural heterogeneity in the U.S. — a dubious goal that weakens the social ties within communities.”
The diversity lottery has been an unwise policy since its inception in 1986, this program. This program is a dangerous gamble. Many Muslims who arrive in America, are deeply indoctrinated by Islamic credos and find it impossible to assimilate into host countries. In fact, their leaders and Imams encourage them to stay away from the American people and only stay within their own community. Hypocrisy is a Muslim trait while they strive to impose their own defunct 7th century barbaric ideology — which is the cause of their own misery — on the host nation.
Both America’s political parties are guilty of keeping much of the U.S. population in the dark about Islam’s mission in the U.S.
