The media down under is saying what American mainstream media refuses to say, Joe Biden’s “cognitive decline”, his dementia, is accelerating. And, they all knew it and kept it secret throughout the 2020 presidential campaign.

And while the likes of yours truly*** and other conservatives are suspended or banned at Twitter, a judge agreed with Sullivan’s defense attorney who said it was too much punishment if Sullivan was banned from using social media like Facebook and Twitter because as his defense attorney argued that such a prohibtion was “wildly excessive and insensitive to the role that Facebook and Twitter play in the lives of many young people.”
It is how they reach their friends, he whined.
Here is Politicotrying so hard to white wash Sullivan’s Black Lives Matter instigator role at the US Capitol on January 6th.
Judge refuses to ban Capitol riot suspect from Twitter and Facebook
A federal magistrate judge has turned down prosecutors’ effort to block a man accused of participating in the Capitol riot from using Twitter and Facebook, but ordered him to end his involvement with a business he founded that the Justice Department says promotes and glorifies violent protests.
The defendant, John Sullivan of Utah, has maintained that he attends raucous demonstrations as a journalist, sharing videos through his Insurgence USA website and social media platforms. Sullivan’s defense attorney even filed invoices with the court showing that CNN and NBC each paid Sullivan’s firm $35,000 last month for rights to video he filmed of chaotic scenes outside and inside the Capitol, including the deadly shooting of protester Ashli Babbitt by a U.S. Capitol Police officer.
[….]
Sullivan’s politics remain murky. He has described himself as an opponent of Trump and a backer of Black Lives Matter. However, BLM activists in Utah have disowned him, saying he seemed intent on provoking violence at protests.
[….]
However, prosecutors contend that Sullivan is not a mere bystander or chronicler of protests. Instead, they say, he actively encourages violence, telling viewers how to make Molotov cocktails and evade identification by police. He was arrested last month on charges stemming from the Jan. 6 riot, including interfering with police during a civil disorder. Sullivan was later hit with an additional charge: obstruction of Congress.
At a hearing on Tuesday afternoon on Sullivan’s release conditions, Washington-based Magistrate Judge Robin Meriweather split the difference between prosecutors seeking to eliminate Sullivan’s presence on the United States’ most popular social media platforms and a defense lawyer who decried what he said was an assault on his client’s constitutional rights.
“I am rejecting the broader prohibition on Twitter and Facebook and encrypted social media platforms,” Meriweather said, also ordering that Sullivan be taken off of 24-hour location monitoring via GPS.
He is just hanging out at home chatting with his friends on Twitter and Facebook, etc.
However, the judge said Sullivan “is to no longer work for Insurgence USA,” will have his internet use monitored by probation officials, and will be banned from using any social media platforms to incite riots, violent protests, armed conflict or violence. He’s also under home detention.
For me the fundamental question is why had no one (Pelosi, McConnell) asked for National Guard troops to arrive before January 6th when supposedly the FBI knew in advance that violence was planned for the 6th.
I don’t know which is more frightening: either the FBI didn’t know in advance, or FBI warnings were ignored.
*** Get this! My Twitter account is suspended because I refused to give them more information about myself.
So, naturally, I figured since it is suspended and they have removed all of my followers, I would simply quit and delete my account.
Guess what! I am not permitted to “deactivate” my account because I am suspended.
You watched it all, the dramatic days before the trial to convict President Trump of inciting insurrection, when the remains of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick was honored in the US Capitol and the Dems led by Chairman Joe came to pay their respects.
Don’t misunderstand, I am not saying the officer who died the day after the January 6th attack on the Capitol was unworthy of such an honor, but you know this was all staged by the Dems to create the most emotional impact they could muster in advance of the trial.
Finally however, the story that has been swirling through the media for weeks that the officer died due to a blow to the head by a Trump supporter wielding a fire extinguisher, a story launched into the media ether by the New York Times, is unraveling.
NYT headline on January 8th:
Here (below) at American Greatness, reporter Julie Kelly says the NYT has quietly updated its story. Hat tip: Bob
Yesterday, I was out and about and got into a discussion about January 6th with my otherwise sensible (but not well-informed) friend who went into an angry tirade about the officer dying by beaten over the head with a fire extinguisher.
Sadly, the myth has now seeped into American consciousness, likely to stay there forever.
The Times’ Superspreader Lie About Officer Sicknick
It looks like they did it again.
Like so many fabricated storylines intended to damage Donald Trump and his supporters, the New York Times cited anonymous sources to support a shocking claim in an article alleging Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick was murdered by a Trump “insurrectionist” on January 6.
“[P]ro-Trump rioters attacked that citadel of democracy, overpowered Mr. Sicknick, 42, and struck him in the head with a fire extinguisher, according to two law enforcement officials,” Times reporters claimed January 8, the day after Sicknick died. “With a bloody gash in his head, Mr. Sicknick was rushed to the hospital and placed on life support. He died on Thursday evening.”
That horrifying account quickly made its way into the vernacular of journalists, lawmakers, political pundits, and regular Americans without dispute. CNN, as Raheem Kassam detailed here, for weeks repeated the line as fact. Ditto for MSNBC. In a tirade earlier this week, “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough called Donald Trump a “cop killer”and raged that GOP Senators wouldn’t vote to convict. “When you . . . bash police officers’ brains with fire extinguishers, you don’t get a mulligan,” Scarborough fumed in response to Senator Mike Lee’s comment that the president deserved a pass.
The Washington Post editorial board couldn’t get the basics of the sketchy story straight. “Officer Sicknick was pummeled by a rioter wielding a fire extinguisher, according to witnesses,” the paper alleged, even though the Times cited law enforcement officials and not on-the-ground witnesses. The Wall Street Journalalso published the claim repeatedly.
Conservatives Took the Bait
Building on the Times-seeded Sicknick story, so-called conservative opinion outlets insisted Sicknick had been murdered. In a column advising Democrats how to frame impeachment, National Review’s Andrew McCarthy suggested Sicknick should be the “face of impeachment” because he was “murdered” by Trump-supporting thugs.
“An impeachment manager opening the presentation to the Senate could have declared without hesitation: ‘When Officer Sicknick needed a president, Donald Trump was missing in action. When America needed a commander-in-chief to protect the seat of its democracy, Donald Trump wouldn’t be disturbed—he was busy watching television,’” McCarthy wrote on January 17.
Continue reading the recitation of the lie being spread far and wide. Then this:
But the narrative about what happened to Sicknick is quickly unraveling, as I wrote earlier this week. Not only is CNN, the network that helped perpetuate the initial storyline for more than a month, questioning the circumstances about Sicknick’s death, so too is the New York Times.
“Though law enforcement officials initially said Officer Sicknick was struck with a fire extinguisher, police sources and investigators are at odds over whether he was hit,” the Timesreported February 11.
Medical experts have said he did not die of blunt force trauma, according to one law enforcement official. Investigators have found little evidence to back up the attack with the fire extinguisher as the cause of death, the official said. Instead, they increasingly suspect that a factor was Officer Sicknick being sprayed in the face by some sort of irritant, like mace or bear spray, the law enforcement official said. The development, reported earlier by CNN, has complicated efforts to arrest suspects in Officer Sicknick’s death, as both the police and rioters used spray in the siege. It is difficult to prove who sprayed irritant on Officer Sicknick. [There are some reports that Sicknick’s brother said he was sprayed with pepper spray.—ed]
In fact, the Times has slowly backed away from its original reporting without acknowledging its sole culpability in launching the narrative. The paper’s extensive coverage of Sicknick’s memorial at the Capitol included no mention of the fire extinguisher attack.
“Officer Sicknick was ‘injured while physically engaging with protesters,’ after which he returned to his division office, the Capitol Police said. There, Officer Sicknick collapsed and later died in the hospital,” one reporter wrote February 3.
Just like the murder of Ashli Babbitt, I expect we will never have the full story. I agree if it weren’t for the break-in, Sicknick might be alive today, but the mainstream media has once again been complicit in spreading an apparent falsehood for their own purely political agenda.
A gang database that has been used for ten years to help law enforcement keep track of gang members in Maryland and Virginia is being attacked by Leftwingers as racist.
New Americans! Maryland/Virginia MS-13 arrested in 2019 for gang murder claimed to be refugees.
By the way, one of its uses by law enforcement was to be sure that when they jailed a gang member they didn’t put him in with an opposing gang member.
Seems like one good reason for the Democrat Socialists to like the data base. Nah, race baiting is so much more fun and profitable for them.
Here is The Red Elephant, not pulling punches as the WaPo does in its story:
Northern Virginia Task Force Gets Rid of Gang Database Due to Gangbangers Being Mainly Non-White
If you spot patterns, you might just be a racist.
Heck, any public body that notices not-so comfortable patterns about criminal behavior could be in a lot of trouble.Hence, the decision by the North Virginia Regional Gang Task Force to discontinue using GangNet, a database that compiles a list of alleged gang members in the D.C. area.
Anti-white activists claimed that this database intentionally over-represents the instances that non-whites are involved in crimes. Previously, when people’s brains weren’t infected by the woke virus, these databases were reliable tools law enforcement officials used to track gang activities. Now, ethnic panderers believe that statistics that show non-white criminality are suddenly racist.
[….]
More than 120 law enforcement agencies in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. use GangNet. The Office of National Drug Control Policy’s Washington/Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) runs this database and claims that the files of 7,800 alleged gang members are stored in its database. The database has been used for around a decade.
