Noel, MO Somali National Still on the Loose, ID of Girlfriend Confirmed

I was just running through many of my murder cases that I’ve been following to see if there is any news for me to share (because these cases that don’t fit the politically correct narrative about ‘new Americans’ tend to disappear).

Muhamad- Noel MO
Fugitive! Wanted!

I’m not seeing anything new on the Kenyan Killer (Billy Chemirmir) or the Nigerian charged in the murder of a college coed in Utah, but there is a fresh AP story on the still missing Somali (a former meatpacker)—Mahamud Tooxoow Mahamed—wanted for questioning after allegedly abducting his dead girlfriend’s children.

The children were found safe, but he is still on the run.

My previous post is here.

Sheriff: New evidence confirms ID of Missouri woman’s body

PINEVILLE, Mo. (AP) —
Authorities say dental records and a tattoo support an earlier tentative identification of a body found on a hillside in southwest Missouri.

jessica-mccormack-2

McDonald County Sheriff Michael Hall said Monday the new evidence suggests the body found July 29 near Noel is that of 25-year-old Jessica McCormack, of Noel. Investigators believe she was stuffed into a suitcase that rolled down a hill after being thrown from a moving vehicle.

Hall tentatively identified the body in August. The Joplin Globe reports Hall said Monday dental records and a tattoo on the body’s left wrist made authorities confident the body was McDonald.

Her boyfriend, 37-year-old Mahamud Tooxoow Mahamed is charged with kidnapping but is a fugitive. Investigators believe he took McCormack’s three daughters to Iowa and left them with a friend before disappearing.

He is on the run from federal charges for the kidnapping, see the US Justice Department press release from one month ago today.

I’m betting he is already out of the country!

New York (again!): Pakistani-born Teen Charged with Providing Material Support to ISIS

We welcomed another ‘new American’ who wants to kill us!

Planned a knife attack at a local Dunkin’ Donuts!

And, what is up with Queens and Islamists?

See my post yesterday about two Muslim women in Queens planning attacks on their fellow Americans, now this “kid,” as his lawyer describes him, had similar plans.

Lawyer: “By all accounts he’s a kind, shy, caring young kid who’s living with his family.”  https://nypost.com/2019/08/30/teen-who-plotted-isis-knife-attack-planned-to-escape-on-his-scooter-prosecutors/

You may have seen the story last Friday, but just in case!

From the New York Post:

Teen who plotted ‘ISIS knife attack’ planned to escape on his scooter: prosecutors

A reclusive, braces-wearing teen who lived behind a white picket fence with his devout Muslim family was secretly an ISIS sympathizer — and was plotting to launch a knife attack at a Dunkin’ Donuts and other targets near his Queens home, the feds alleged Friday.

chadhury
Awais Chudhary, 19.  I wonder, did he know the women who plead guilty last week in Queens?

His getaway vehicle of choice? A Razor scooter, federal prosecutors in Brooklyn say.

Awais Chudhary, 19, planned to strike at the Dunkin’ just blocks from his East Elmhurst home, and was also targeting pedestrian bridges over the Grand Central Parkway to the Flushing Bay Promenade and the World’s Fair Marina, prosecutors said in court papers.

Chudhary had texted back and forth with two undercover agents he believed were ISIS terrorists, sharing his attack plans and telling them that he’d pledged his allegiance to the terror organization, the feds said.

At one point, he allegedly sent one agent an ISIS diagram of the human body that he’d found online, showing where best to plunge a knife into a victim, the feds said.

He also allegedly asked for guidance on constructing a small “bucket bomb,” which he hoped to fling from an overpass onto vehicle traffic below.

[….]

Chudhary was arrested in Queens on Thursday as he tried to pick up items he’d ordered online for his attacks: a tactical knife, a mask and a special wearable strap to hold a cellphone he’d hoped to use to livestream the carnage, the feds said.

The wiry, bearded teen was ordered held without bail at his Brooklyn federal court arraignment Friday on charges of providing material support to a terrorist organization.

Unbelievable, his lawyer downplays his alleged attack plans by saying it was only a Dunkin Donuts he was targeting!

“This is not something where he’s masterminding something in the subway or Times Square. He’s looking at a Dunkin Donuts,” his court-appointed lawyer, Samuel Jacobson, argued in asking that bail be set at $100,000.

The plot was just a “fantasy,” the lawyer insisted.

[….]

“By all accounts he’s a kind, shy, caring young kid who’s living with his family.”

More here.

By the way, we don’t admit huge numbers of Pakistanis as refugees, so I always wonder how did we get so many.  Which legal avenue are they accessing to get here in such large numbers?

There is a detailed recitation of the case against him, here at the US Justice Department.

Malaysian Native Guilty of Installing Camera in Airplane Bathroom

Traveling this Labor Day weekend?  Keep an eye out for hidden cameras!

I liked it so much that my headline is the same one the US Justice Department used on its press release on Tuesday.

I’m enjoying the fact that the Justice Department is getting right to the point these days and telling us if the perp is a foreign national and not saying something like: ‘Houston man pleads guilty.’

(And, in case you are wondering, Malaysia is a majority Muslim country.)

The story reminded me of my posts earlier in the year about what is now being called “video voyeurism” where a ‘new American’ was caught by an eagle-eyed teen filming women in dressing rooms in Virginia malls, see those Mumtaz Rauf posts here.

ABC-13 in Houston has good coverage of this latest story,

Halliburton employee pleads guilty to hiding camera in United first class bathroom

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A Houston man who works for Halliburton has pleaded guilty to voyeurism after planting a camera inside an airplane bathroom and using it to record women.

choon ping lee

Choon Ping Lee was charged with video voyeurism within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States.

Lee was sentenced to two months in prison and a $6,000 fine.

The incident happened May 5 on United Airlines flight 646 from San Diego to Houston.

Authorities say a first class passenger, who is also from Houston, told them she went to the bathroom at one point during the flight and noticed a device with a blue blinking light.

She claimed it was near the cabinet and wall area, close to a door hinge. The device was loosely hanging, but she said she wasn’t sure if it was part of the plane.

The passenger grabbed it with a paper towel, walked out of the bathroom and gave it to the flight crew.

According to court documents, once they arrived in Houston, the crew gave the item to George Bush Intercontinental Airport United Airlines Corporate Security.

Not only was Lee apparently a sicko, he was dumb as he shot footage of himself installing the camera!

Security, who confirmed it was a video recording device, watched the footage and saw a man installing the device in the bathroom in first class on that same flight.

Officials say they couldn’t see the man’s face, but he wore clothing and jewelry with distinct details. He wore a watch on his left hand and a small bracelet on his right wrist.

He had on a blue, short-sleeved shirt with the letters “NJC” on the back and loosely fitted jeans. He also wore black tennis shoes with black leather on top near the black laces and white trim on the bottom of the shoes.

FBI San Diego had video footage of all the passengers boarding United Airlines Flight 646. A man wearing the same clothing as the person seen in the bathroom video was spotted in the San Diego boarding area. He also wore glasses and carried a black backpack.

Video showed the man, wearing the same distinct clothing, leaving the plane after it landed in Houston.

Houston police then used video footage of the man walking through Bush Airport to help track him down.

He was identified as Lee, a Malaysian citizen. United Airlines Corporate Security confirmed Lee sat in first class on the flight.

FBI Houston recovered deleted files on the device showing another airplane bathroom where at least two women were caught on camera. Authorities discovered that the files were from an Emirates flight, and one of the victims was wearing an Emirates flight crew uniform.

Court papers show the FBI contacted Halliburton, who provided them with Lee’s travel information and that he flew on Emirates for work.

Halliburton also shared a real time photo of Lee walking down the hallway at his job site. He was wearing the watch and bracelet that matched the jewelry seen on camera on the United Airlines flight on May 5.

There is a discussion about how ‘popular’ this practice is becoming, then this,

“They can be as small as a pinhole size, hidden in a ceiling, in a coffee mug,” said Natalia Avila from Central Spy Shop.

In fact, Central Spy Shop has even heard of cases where the cameras were found on cruise ships and airbnbs.

“They could be hidden in smoke detectors, air purifiers,” said Avila.

That’s where hidden camera detectors come in. The devices use a red light to detect a camera lens and it also picks up Wi-Fi.

Are we all going to have to run out and purchase hidden camera detectors?  Yikes!

Lee was fined $6,000, will go to jail for two months and will most likely be removed from the country according to the Justice Department.

Somali National, Others, Arrested in Brazil for Trafficking Africans and Middle Easterners to US Border

Of course I still want to know how all the poor Africans found the money to get them to Brazil in the first place!

The US Justice Department made the announcement of the arrests here earlier this month.

International Law Enforcement Cooperation Leads to Brazilian Takedown of Significant Human Smugglers

brazil federal police
Brazil Federal Police

Earlier today, extensive coordination and cooperation efforts between United States and Brazilian law enforcement and prosecution authorities culminated in the Brazil Federal Police (DPF) conducting a significant enforcement operation to disrupt and dismantle a transnational criminal organization.

The human smuggling organization targeted is alleged to be responsible for the illicit smuggling of scores of individuals from East Africa and the Middle East, into Brazil, and ultimately to the United States. The enforcement operation included the execution of multiple search warrants and the arrests of three prolific, Brazil-based human smugglers on Brazilian charges: Abdifatah Hussein Ahmed (a Somalian national); Abdessalem Martani (an Algerian national); and Mohsen Khademi Manesh (an Iranian national).

“We commend today’s efforts by our Brazilian counterparts to take decisive action under their recently enacted human smuggling laws against criminal networks that threaten the national security of Brazil, the United States and other nations,” said Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. “Such collaborative efforts with our foreign law enforcement partners show our collective resolve to hold international human smugglers to account to the fullest extent of the law.”

Assistance provided by U.S. authorities was coordinated under the Extraterritorial Criminal Travel Strike Force (ECT) program, a joint partnership between the Justice Department, Criminal Division’s Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section (HRSP) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).The ECT program focuses on human smuggling networks that may present particular national security or public safety risks, or present grave humanitarian concerns. ECT has dedicated investigative, intelligence and prosecutorial resources. ECT coordinates and receives assistance from other U.S. government agencies and foreign law enforcement authorities.

The Center for Immigration Studies has more on this, see here.

Maybe the Prez is already doing it, but he should be trumpeting news like this at rallies and on Twitter.

The average American has no idea that his Administration is making some headway in the area of law enforcement—whether that involves the opioid crisis as I reported yesterday here, or big Medicare, Medicaid and Food stamp fraud busts that I’ve been reporting on regularly here at Frauds and Crooks.

Charleston, WV: Syrian Doctor Pleads Guilty in Illegal Distribution of Pain Meds Investigation

“A drug dealer in a lab coat is still just a drug dealer!”

(United States Attorney Mike Stuart)

Ho hum! you might be saying, another foreign doctor destroying Americans with drugs! What else is new?

But this case, reported by the US Justice Department on Saturday, caught my attention immediately.

The first thing I did was try to find out if the drug dealer is Syrian and after a little searching I found a reference to his Syrian passport.

Why was that so interesting you ask?

Well, it’s because it was the Syrian ‘community’ in Charleston that was pushing for West Virginia (specifically Charleston) to become a Syrian refugee resettlement site back toward the end of the Obama Administration.  I even heard a rumor that Syrian doctors were making generous contributions to local Congressmen (maybe other pols too!) to gain their support for refugee resettlement.

First here is the rather unusual press release from the US Justice Department this week:

Charleston Doctor Pleads Guilty to Illegal Distribution of Methadone

Nasher
Muhammed Samer Nasher-Alneam

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – A Charleston doctor who practiced at Neurology & Pain Center, PLLC pled guilty to illegal distribution of controlled substances that were not for legitimate medical purposes, announced United States Attorney Mike Stuart. Muhammed Samer Nasher-Alneam admitted to writing prescriptions in July 2014 for oxycodone and methadone pills that were not within the bounds of professional medical practice or for legitimate medical purposes. Pursuant to his guilty plea, Nasher agreed to permanently surrender both his medical license and DEA registration. He further agreed to never seek reinstatement of a license to practice as a medical doctor in any other state.

Now check out the next paragraph.  Normally these press releases are written in a boring style.  It is rare to see such enthusiasm!  Cut the head of the snake!

“Nasher is now an admitted felon and faces up to ten years – TEN YEARS- in a federal prison. A drug dealer in a lab coat is still just a drug dealer,” said United States Attorney Mike Stuart. “Nasher will never practice medicine again. Ever. Nasher will never write another prescription. Ever. And Nasher will never treat another patient. Ever. We’re cracking down hard across the board – medical professionals, doctors, pharmacists, street dealers and traffickers – in a multi-pronged aggressive approach intended to cut the head off the snake. Medical professionals should take note that if they abuse the prescribing privileges of their profession, and I stress that they are a privilege, my office will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law and I will seek the maximum sentence in every case.”

Nasher was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal pending his December 2, 2019 sentencing. Nasher has remained in custody since his arrest on July 27, 2018 – 393 days – as a result of the United States moving to detain him. He faces at least 5 and up to 10 years in prison, as well as a $1 million fine at sentencing. As part of his plea agreement, Nasher agreed to forfeit $149,480.75 in United States Currency and an Acura RDX Sport Utility Vehicle.

More here.

Now here is a news story from WSAZ Charleston from nearly a year ago which tells us a bit more about Nasher and his Syrian roots:

UPDATE: Doctor facing 22 charges in new indictment

The order of detention states that Nasher-Alneam’s mom and five brothers live in Turkey — a place the suspect has visited. It also states Nasher-Alneam has traveled outside of the United States (to United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Malaysia) several times for various reasons.

Court documents say Nasher-Alneam delivered his U.S. passport to his attorney, “but there are some questions concerning the location and validity of his Syrian Passport that was not revealed to the probation officer during his initial interview. In addition, the defendant was not forthright and truthful to the probation officer concerning his ownership of various properties and financial assets.”

I’m guessing a legitimate fear of him skipping the country is why he has been in custody for nearly a year.

And, I’ll bet there is a lot more to this story than we are being told!
