Trump Calls Massive Spending Bill a “Disgrace,” Says He Won’t Sign It

For those of you who were shocked, dismayed, stunned, depressed yesterday when you began hearing about what was in a bill passed by both Houses of Congress that was supposedly a COVID relief package, you got some solace later in the evening when President Trump went before the American people to say he would not sign the bill in its present form.

He stopped short of using the word “veto,” but said he won’t sign this monstrosity.

By the way, only six brave Republican Senators voted against the 5,000 plus page bill that NO one has read:

Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Rick Scott, R-Fla., Ron Johnson, R-Wis., Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn.***

In the House it was 359 for and 53 against, see here.

You can watch our President’s four minute display of leadership below (I see much of the media is calling it a rant).   He asks why we are sending billions abroad when Americans are hurting through no fault of their own.

Here is just one of dozens of news stories on the President’s big surprise to our disgusting House and Senate.

From the BBC:

Trump urges Congress to amend ‘wasteful’ coronavirus aid bill

In a video message posted on Twitter, he said the package “really is a disgrace”, full of “wasteful” items.

“It’s called the Covid relief bill, but it has almost nothing to do with Covid,” he said.

See Rush Limbaugh’s extensive commentary on the bill from yesterday afternoon. He laments that the rats are back at work as they assume the Trump era is over. https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2020/12/22/nothing-changes-in-washington-the-covid-relief-bill-should-be-vetoed/

The $900bn bill includes one-off $600 payments to most Americans, but Mr Trump said the figure should be $2,000.

His statement stunned Capitol Hill.

Republicans and Democrats have been negotiating a coronavirus stimulus rescue package since July and Mr Trump – who has largely stayed out of the talks – had been expected to sign the legislation into law following its passage through Congress on Monday night.

[….]

However, Mr Trump has not specifically said he would veto the bill. Even if he does, US media say there could be enough votes from both Democrats and Republicans in Congress to override his veto.

[….]

In Tuesday night’s message from the White House, Mr Trump baulked at spending in the bill on other countries, arguing that this money should go to struggling Americans.

He said: “This bill contains $85.5m for assistance to Cambodia, $134m to Burma, $1.3bn for Egypt and the Egyptian military, which will go out and buy almost exclusively Russian military equipment, $25m for democracy and gender programmes in Pakistan, $505m to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.”

The president questioned why the Kennedy Center, a performing arts complex in Washington DC, was set to receive $40m when it is not open, and more than $1bn has been allocated to museums and galleries in the capital. [Which are also  mostly not open!—ed]

The President has nothing to lose now if he vetoes the monster that will put the US in even greater debt (to China?) for generations to come.  It will reaffirm his strong leadership that will be needed for the years ahead.

Yeah, they can override his veto, but then we will all know who puts Americans First and who puts us last. After all, the midterm elections are not far off.

*** These six should join Senator-elect Tuberville (and many Members of the House) in opposing a Biden/Harris presidency on January 6th.  What have they got to lose?

Progressives Criticize Veep Pence for Getting Muslim-engineered Vaccine

The other day I posted a list of conservative news aggregator sites (see it updated here with more reader suggestions), but you should be reading the leftwing propaganda sites from time to time as well—very edifying.  Like this one….

Common Dreams snarks that Vice President Mike Pence, who they intimate is an Islamophobe, got the Chinese Virus vaccine and by doing so, they say, he is a hypocrite.

I’m posting this to show you what the hard Lefties are writing, but also to inform you that Turkish Muslims living in Germany are the creators of the Pfizer vaccine.

What Common Dreams  wants its readers to know is this—you see all immigrants are good people who benefit society.

But, frankly for every deserving immigrant I can give you ten frauds, crooks and criminals as I have been saying and cataloging for over a decade.

From Common Dreams:

Pence, Who Backed Muslim Visa Ban, Gets Vaccine Invented by Muslim Immigrants

Pence also praised far right-wing evangelical leader John Hagee. Hagee has said that Muslim Americans are not real Americans.

Defeated Vice President Mike Pence got the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on Friday.

Here is why he is a hypocrite.

Pence served for four years in the Trump administration, which initiated a visa ban against Muslims. Although he had in 2015 called any such ban “unconstitutional,” he folded when Trump insisted on it and proudly stood behind the Mad President when he signed the order.

Pence also praised far right-wing evangelical leader John Hagee. Hagee has said that Muslim Americans are not real Americans.

Pence has, further, improperly pressured USAID to route US foreign aid to the Middle East away from Muslims and to Christians instead.

Pence is a serial science denier. He says smoking cigarettes does not cause cancer. He has called the human-caused climate emergency “a myth.”

Ugur Sahin and Özlem Türeci

The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine involves science and Muslim immigrants, so why is he getting it?

Pfizer partnered in developing the vaccine with a German firm, BioNTech, which was founded and is headed by the Turkish-German husband-wife team of Ugur Sahin and Özlem Türeci. BioNTech really developed the vaccine, though Pfizer is the one with the ability to mass-manufacture and distribute it.

The two are Turkish-German Muslims. [Gasp!]

Author Juan Cole goes on to report (breathlessly) that Sahin and Türeci are now both billionaires.  It is unclear why that matters.

As far as I am concerned the jury is still out on whether the vaccine is a success or not.

Meanwhile, search “new Covid strain identified in UK” and see that the world is in a panic as evidenced by every major news outlet spreading more fear.  Of course the big SCIENCE question is: will Pfizer’s vaccine work against the new strain (assuming it even works on the original strain)?

Santelli Rants Again! Will he Galvanize America as he did in 2009?

King Joe and Queen Kamala, if crowned in January, will have their hands full.

Do you remember 2009 when Obama and Joe first came to the White House and CNBC Business editor Rick Santelli went on his famous rant credited with being the inspiration for the Tea Party that clearly was the precursor to Donald Trump’s successful America First (MAGA) movement?

Santelli ranted again and this time it was in defense of churches and small businesses like restaurants which are being shuttered supposedly to protect us from the Chinese virus while Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart and the like are somehow allowed to be open with hundreds of customers milling about.

See what he said this time….

We have been focused on the election and the revelations of massive fraud, but I think we need to be looking at what is going on in Europe as a sign of the unrest Joe and Kamala will be presented with if more lockdowns, mask mandates or mandatory vaccinations are part of their governing plan.

Here is what happened in London in October.

I’ve said this before, and you likely will disagree with me, but if Trump does not prevail in his legal challenges to the massive election fraud we know happened, that in many ways it might be much better for him and us that he is on the outside leading a MAGA movement.

Just this morning I’ve been reading one article after another about how the deep state is on steroids internally working against Trump and his people, about how some Republican Senators are already signaling that they want more cheap labor for big businesses, and how many Republican ‘leaders’ are cutting and running to work all manner of deals with the Dems.

Let illegitimately elected Joe (ha! ha!) be responsible for trying to tamp down the growing anger of 74 million Americans who believe the election was stolen and don’t want to be shutdown, don’t want open borders, don’t want lawlessness on our streets, don’t want China influencing anything we do, and are sick of the globalists in both parties running our lives.

Since the days of the Tea Party rebellion of 2009, the movement, now known as MAGA, has grown up as it has grown younger and more diverse. I don’t think it will be easily silenced.

California Pastor Does Striptease to Make a Point

No, he didn’t take off everything just his tie in a bid to make the point. If strip clubs can be open in California, then so can churches.

Thanks to reader Marilou for sharing this uplifting story. Oh, and by the way, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

This will give you a laugh.  And, yes, I know that the Supreme Court weighed in subsequent to Pastor McCoy’s performance to slap down New York governor Cuomo’s edict restricting church attendance.

I think there is some kind of revolution going on in Cali!

From RedState:

California Pastor Temporarily Turns His Chapel Into a Strip Club to Be Deemed ‘Essential’

Since the time various shutdowns, stay-at-home orders, et cetera, were enacted to “slow the spread” of the Wuhan flu, the list of businesses and activities considered “essential” has been illogical at best. In California, marijuana dispensaries and liquor stores have remained open, while gyms and churches have been shut down.

Multiple churches in California have sued over the shutdown order and their “nonessential” designation, arguing that shutting down churches violates the First Amendment. Others have continued to hold indoor services despite the shutdown order, including Godspeak Calvary Chapel in Ventura County, led by Pastor Rob McCoy – who stepped down from his post as a member of the Thousand Oaks City Council before defying the health officer’s order back in April.

Strip club owners in the state have also challenged the shutdown order in court, saying that their businesses are “legally protected speech guaranteed by the First Amendment.” On November 12, a San Diego Superior Court judge ordered that county to temporarily reopen strip clubs, pending a full hearing at the end of the month, after an initial hearing in a case brought by two strip club owners.

Since being able to provide live adult entertainment is a protected right in at least one county, for at least a few weeks, might churches be able to use this ruling to their advantage?

Pastor McCoy, inspired by former Gov. Mike Huckabee, decided to take a chance.

There is more here.

And, see what the pastor did below.

Remember what Saul Alinsky taught his Leftwing revolutionaries: “Humor is essential to a successful tactician, for the most potent weapons known to mankind are satire and ridicule.”

And, Lefties have NO sense of humor!  So, laugh at them every chance you get!

While we are on the subject of humor, God and Leftists. Twitter was blowing up over the last day or so when Joe Biden, speaking from a teleprompter, couldn’t pronounce the word “Psalmist.”

Remember the Dems put this mentally challenged man in this spot, so we are free to laugh!

Fox’s Chris Wallace Blames Trump for Debate Train Wreck

“He bears the primary responsibility for what happened on Tuesday.”

(Chris Wallace)

Poor Chrissy Wallace, we feel for you. NOT!

Editor: As you have all heard as you woke up this morning, the President and First Lady have both tested positive for the Chinese virus. Pray for them and our country through this difficult time.

The headline at Mediaite that pushed me to write about the debate again is this:

Chris Wallace Works Through ‘PTSD’ to Relive Chaotic Debate: Trump ‘Bears the Primary Responsibility for What Happened’

Hey audience: Look at me, Mr. Invisible!

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is nothing to joke about.

Wallace you would have been better off yesterday simply keeping your mouth shut.  You said in advance of the debate that you wanted to be as “invisible” as possible, but you weren’t as you clearly felt Biden needed help and joined the debate yourself.

You would do the country a great service now if you disappeared from view for awhile.

But, no you had to talk to the media including the New York Times to make sure you didn’t get blamed for the mess.

Here is Mediaite:

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace is speaking out on television for the first time since the debate over which he presided on Tuesday night — and he’s putting most of the blame for the chaotic event on President Donald Trump.

Appearing on Bill Hemmer Reports Thursday, Wallace got his much-anticipated segment off to a lighthearted start by reacting tongue-in-cheek to a clip of the debate showing a particularly frantic sequence.

“I had just gotten over the PTSD,” Wallace joked. “And then you put me right back into it.”

[….]

“I thought, ‘We’re going to have a real debate here,’” Wallace said — noting that he took Trump’s first interruption of former Vice President Joe Biden as a sign that an organic conversation would take place. “It became clearer and clearer over time that this was something different, and that the president was determined to try to butt in and throw Joe Biden off … I saw [a] Fox analysis that indicates the president interrupted either Biden’s answers or my questions a total of 145 times, which is way more than one a minute.

What a lying sack. I just tried to find out how many times each participant interrupted and found the number all over the map on Trump (but none as high as 145).  I found nothing in my quick look for counts on Biden and Wallace interruptions.

“He [Trump] bears the primary responsibility for what happened on Tuesday.”

And now here is USA Today trumpeting the Wallace whine-fest.

Chris Wallace: Trump ‘bears the primary responsibility for what happened’ during debate

In his first interview following the insult-laden debate, Wallace told the New York Times Wednesday that he “never dreamt that it would go off the tracks the way it did.”

“Generally speaking, I did as well as I could, so I don’t have any second thoughts there,” Wallace said.

“I’m just disappointed with the results. For me, but much more importantly, I’m disappointed for the country, because it could have been a much more useful evening than it turned out to be.” [Cry me a river!—ed]

Wallace, who also moderated the final 2016 presidential debate between Trump and Hillary Clinton, added:

“I’m a pro. I’ve never been through anything like this.”

[…..]

In hindsight, Wallace said he agreed with his critics, admitting, “I don’t know that I ever really did” seize control of the debate. But the veteran anchor said he didn’t have “advance warning” of Trump’s game plan.

Implication of that last line is that Trump played a dirty trick on the “pro” Wallace.

I know there are plenty of analysis out there about the debate and how it went off the tracks, but here is one I found useful and persuasive.

Wallace claimed he chose the topics and wrote the questions seemingly all skewed toward Leftwing talking points.  I am still fuming because there were no questions on immigration, the border, Islamic terrorism, or bringing our troops home from useless Middle East wars (wars that Biden has supported).

Please don’t do all of your news viewing and reading at Fox News going forward!
