Idaho: African Refugees Arraigned on Rape Charges

Diversity is beautiful alert!
I saw this story a day or so ago and wasn’t planning to post it mostly because I am sick of refugee crime stories because they remind me that the US State Department under President Trump is still bringing in refugees who should not be here, and we are paying for it!
Dear taxpayers, these three are living off of your generosity!  Probably not working and using your money to pay for sex.
And, I am writing about it to remind you that Boise is a welcoming city!

Idaho rapists
A fourth suspect is 16 and was not in court.  Of course, who knows how old he really is!

From KTVB.com in Kuna, Idaho (20 miles from Boise),

Men accused of Kuna gang-rape arraigned; protest innocence to judge

KUNA, Idaho — Three of the defendants charged with gang-raping a woman in Kuna told a judge during their initial arraignment Friday afternoon that the accusations against them were false.
Elias Lupango, 19, Rashidi Mulanga, 18 and Swedi Iyombelo, 18, all of Boise, were arrested Thursday on the felony rape charge. A fourth suspect, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested Friday morning on the same charge.
Because the fourth suspect is a juvenile, his name has not been released, and he did not appear in court with the other defendants.
According to the prosecutor, the 18-year-old woman and Iyombelo made contact over social media and agreed to meet up in a Kuna neighborhood Feb. 7. The two agreed to hang out, but sex was not discussed, he said.
“The victim believed she was meeting only one individual, your Honor,” the prosecutor said. “The victim arrived at the location and observed four males, not just one. She stated to law enforcement that she was initially apprehensive upon arriving, but stayed.”
Iyombelo and the 16-year-old got into the victim’s car, and the woman and Iyombelo began having consensual sex, the prosecutor said.
But after the sex began, the woman told Iyombelo to stop, she told police. According to the prosecutor, Iyombelo later admitted to detectives that the woman said no three times, but he kept having sex with her.
The other three defendants then took turns raping the victim, the prosecutor said.
[….]
The defendant’s public defender asked the judge to set a much lower bond, around $2,000. She told the judge that the men had struck a deal with the 18-year-old before the encounter.
“Apparently she had been aware that there were four of them and that they were going to pay her for sex,” the attorney said. “There’s a little more to this story than we all know at this point.”
Comstock ultimately sided with the prosecutor, ordering each man held on a $250,000 bond.

More details on how the crime went down, here.

Were you asking yourselves, since when is Tanzania sending refugees to the US?

This is a key line that may have you confused,

All three suspects are refugees from Tanzania, according to their public defender; Mulanga has been in Boise for six months, while Lupango and Iyombelo have been in the area for three years.

I checked the Wrapsnet data base and sure enough we only took a couple of Tanzanians over the last few years and none were placed in Idaho.
However, I remembered that the US and the UN opened a big new refugee processing center in Tanzania mostly for the tens of thousands of DR Congolese ‘refugees’ we are moving to America….and are still moving here under the Trump Administration!
See my story in December 2017.
So, the ‘secret decoder ring’ tells me that these ‘new Americans’ are likely some of the almost 50,000 from the DR Congo we are bringing in to add more diversity to your towns and cities.
Check out this map, Idaho is one of the top states for the placement of DR Congolese over the last five years.  (Obama promised the UN that we would take 50,000 and Trump is fulfilling the promise!).

This is only the data for DR Congolese in the last 5+ fiscal years!

You can see that Idaho is at 1,600 since FY14 began.  130 DR Congolese were placed there since October 2018 (the beginning of FY19).

question markWhat do you do? I frankly don’t know. We thought we did something by electing Donald Trump!
The nine federal resettlement contractors were all funded by the Trump State Department, the media (outside of the local area) could care less about a few rapists/crooks/criminals running loose, and the Open Borders/big business lobby is huge and well-funded.

Minnesota again! Dangerous Mix: Drugs, Guns and New Americans

ROCHESTER POLICE: WOMAN BLOODIED AND HOSPITALIZED, 3 ARRESTED AFTER HOME INVASION

ROCHESTER, Minn. – An apparent robbery attempt left a female bleeding from the face and three people behind bars on burglary and assault charges.

Rochester Police said at 9:53 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a home invasion report at 3031 Towne Club Pkwy.
Police say a 19-year-old resident set up a marijuana buy with 18-year-old Nelson Soro. When Soro showed up, 5-6 people, including two with guns, allegedly rushed into the apartment. Police aren’t sure what was taken from the residence.
Police say the female was hit over the head with a hard object and was taken to St. Mary’s.

At least one of those arrested is a new American, a likely Somali refugee or an offspring of a refugee.
On a personal note: When I traveled throughout the US in 2016, I was in the vicinity of Rochester on the way to Owatonna (both refugee resettlement locations) and I pulled into a highway rest area and much to my surprise Somali Muslim women were lined up ostentatiously praying on the lawn at the rest area.  Needless-to-say, for an easterner, it was a shocking site.

question markWhat can you do? Make sure that news like this from Minnesota gets around to your communities especially in the eastern US because most people have no idea about how far gone Minnesota is already!

Columbus, Ohio (again): Fishy Refugee Story Used to Bash Trump

Religion News Service has published a lengthy and whiney report on the status of the US Refugee Admissions Program under the Trump Administration.  It is a useful summary in some ways of where the refugee industry is these days.

Screenshot (863)
Daycare worker Khadra Abdo wants to bring her five grown children to the US!

But, don’t be fooled, all of the federal contractors are still in place and still being funded. They have simply hunkered down to wait Trump out.
The story (hat tip: Joanne) is an excuse to bash Trump, but is interesting as it begins with a refugee sob story (as they all do because the Left loves stories!), that raised some questions for me about how this Columbus, Ohio Somali woman got into the US in the first place.
And, one more thing!  Just because the word “religion” is in the name of this publication that doesn’t mean it is a religious publication!  It is a media source with a Leftist spin for news that might eventually appear in places like the Washington Post.

Two years after Trump’s travel ban, faith-based refugee groups struggle

“My first thought is that I hope they are safe today, and that stays on my mind throughout the whole day,” Abdo told Religion News Service through an interpreter provided by Church World Service.
The 40-year-old Muslim mother of seven was separated from her five oldest children from a first marriage nearly 12 years ago when she and her second husband fled civil war twice — first in Somalia, then in Libya. When they arrived in Columbus, Ohio, as asylum seekers in 2012, she filed a request for her four teenaged daughters and one son, living with her 75-year-old mother in Ethiopia, to join her through World Relief.
Seven years later, she is still waiting. And the World Relief office that once helped her has been closed.
That closure in 2017 was a “direct result” of President Trump’s executive order to cut the number of refugees resettled that year in the United States, World Relief said at the time.

Do these young reporters have no curiosity?  Here is what I want to know:
First, why did she have to leave her children behind in Ethiopia? And now nearly grown up, aren’t they safe in Ethiopia?  Wouldn’t Abdo be safe in Ethiopia with grandma and the five kids.
If she came to the US as an asylum seeker, that means she actually got in to the US with her present hubby (or at least we presume hubby is with her) and was not screened and admitted as a regular refugee.  Did she come across our southern or northern border?
Did she go through the asylum system and was she granted refugee status?
And, heck, why would you try to run to Libya in the first place?  Were they planning to break into Europe across the Mediterranean?
We have been told she has been here seven years, but still needs an interpreter?
Religion News continues…

Abdo now is pursuing her case through Community Refugee and Immigration Services, Church World Service’s refugee and immigration office in Columbus.
She talks “constantly” on the phone with her children in Ethiopia, she said through an interpreter. She works at a daycare and cares for her two youngest children, one born at a refugee camp in Libya and the other in the United States.
But, she said, “It is very hard and very difficult for a mother to be separated from her kids every day.” [What the hell, she left her kids behind 12 years ago!—ed]
In the meantime, Abdo is studying for her U.S. citizenship exam, which she hopes to pass this month.

This month! She can’t even speak English!
Religion News might have chosen a better star for their story!
See my earlier post today about a Columbus fraudster (from Abdo’s ‘community?) going to jail!

question markI’ve been tagging posts by the state where the fraud, crime, whatever, happened.  I’m thinking Ohio might be taking the prize so far!  What is up with Ohio?

Utica, NY and the New American Economy's Propaganda

Editor:  Frauds and Crooks is one month old today!
On January first, when I welcomed you to my new blog, I said my first priority was to counter the media reports that have begun to spew from the Open Borders propaganda machine about how migrants of all stripes are just the ticket for saving America’s economy while bringing the joys of diversity to you, the deplorables.
And so it is funny that this news from Utica, NY published yesterday is exactly what I warned about one month ago.
You will be seeing news like this from sea to shining sea in the lead-up to the 2020 Presidential contest.

The Cities Refugees Saved

Of course, I question the premise of the story from CityLab in the first place.  Why must we save a city that is no longer providing jobs or has been poorly run by Democrats for decades?
First just so you know here are the ‘brains’ behind the New American Economy propaganda machine. Tell me if this bunch has anything more on their minds than cheap immigrant labor and more Democrat voters!

CityLab calls the New American Economy, a bipartisan immigration reform group!

This is my post from earlier this month on the New American Economy.
CityLab reports that the New American Economy gang has teamed up (has hired) a film company to put together a film that will showcase Utica’s booming refugee-driven economy. (They love films!)
Utica church becomes mosque
Symbol of the NEW Utica: Historic Methodist Church becomes a mosque

Film maker Adam Bedient (director of photography and editor at Off Ramp Films) says he grew up nearby and it was just a dying city but now, joy of joys the Bosnian Muslims that Bill Clinton welcomed to America have turned the city around.

Now, he’s working on a full-length feature about the refugee communities in Utica, and when he drives through town, he finds it simmering with new life. Old buildings are getting refurbished. Construction cranes bob up and down. And at the center of town is a long-vacant historic Methodist church that has been renovated and converted into a beautiful mosque—a symbol of the new Utica.

The CitiLab story goes on to report how the city is thriving. You can read it yourself.
When you see news like this, look to see if they have included any mention of problems, like the one I reported at Refugee Resettlement Watch in 2015 about the school funding crisis when the city of Utica sued the state of New York for a refugee-created school funding shortfall.
See if they mention anything about dollars from Washington (from you) that fuel the local ‘new American’ economy via welfare—food stamps, housing subsidies, healthcare, federal grants for myriad refugee/immigrant services, grants to non-profits that service migrants and so forth.
In other words , is Utica a prime example of simply shifting federal tax dollars to a dying city?

Screenshot (858)
Useful graphic from the story.  Heads up if you live in one of those cities, you might be next for a propaganda film about your growing refugee population. At RRW I wrote about problems in almost every one of them!

CityLab goes on (as expected) to bash the President and White House policy staffer Stephen Miller saying they don’t know what they are talking about when they express concerns about the cost of more refugee resettlement or any issues of safety and security.  You can read it all here.
The story wraps with a quote from Bedient about that on-going debate,

This kind of wrangling over the true impact of refugees doesn’t get much traction in Utica, where refugees now make up almost a quarter of the city’s population, Bedient says. It’s not really up for debate at this point—“it’s a part of the city’s identity now,” he says.

Bottomline, the New American Economy and the Open Borders cabal have decided, there is no longer any debate, so shut up!

question markHere is what I don’t get!
Utica, has been paraded out for over a decade as a city saved by refugees, but no group on the immigration control side of the debate has ever (to my knowledge) gone to Utica to investigate the claims and counter them. Why is that?

New Americans (and PC Politicians) are killing us! TB again!

“[T]he bacteria originated with an international student and spread to at least seven others who had close contact with them.”

Doug Schultz, a Health Department spokesman

Yes, immigrants can kill with guns as Wilber Martinez-Guzman obviously did in Nevada earlier this month and they can kill with contagious diseases like Tuberculosis, but the national media, Leftwing Open Borders agitators and most politicians dodge and weave and don’t want to make that direct connection.  I will.
Check out the story last week from Minnesota!
From the Star Tribune:

TB outbreak tied to Minnesota State, Mankato under investigation

The Minnesota Department of Health is investigating a tuberculosis outbreak among eight people associated with Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Mankato is a refugee welcoming city.  http://www.mankatofreepress.com/news/local_news/mankato-s-welcoming-nature-draws-refugees/article_be17e754-afe3-11e5-8a97-5fe64a4f016a.html

State health officials are asking clinics to look out for tuberculosis symptoms in college-aged individuals who have spent time at the university since August 2016.
“Typically, health care providers seeing respiratory issues in an average, otherwise healthy 20-something Minnesotan wouldn’t normally be thinking TB,” Doug Schultz, a Health Department spokesman said late Thursday. Risk factors for the infection usually include travel abroad to a country where TB is common, but in this case, all but one contracted TB in the United States.
Investigators believe the bacteria originated with an international student and spread to at least seven others who had close contact with them, Schultz said.

What if that “international student” had not been diagnosed for another few months, how many more would be infected?

To contain the outbreak, health officials contacted about 700 people who may have interacted with the patients, such as roommates and significant others. Of those, they identified another 30 individuals who have a latent form of TB, meaning they tested positive for the bacteria but didn’t exhibit symptoms.

Did the 30! with latent TB acquire it from the one “international” student (but, hey, isn’t everyone entering the country supposed to be tested BEFORE they enter!)?

Minnesota clinics typically see around 140 TB cases each year, but an outbreak this size is considered unusual.
Though many think TB was eradicated years ago, about 10,000 Americans are diagnosed annually with it, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The vast majority of TB cases are found in the immigrant (aka new American) population!

In 2017, more than 70 percent of those diagnosed were born outside the United States, including in Africa and Asia, where the disease is common. The percentage of foreign-born TB patients in Minnesota is over 80 percent, experts said.
That year, an outbreak of drug-resistant TB in Ramsey County infected 17 people, killing three of them.

The next time you see one of those glowing reports about how “New Americans” bring economic boom times to struggling cities, see if the report includes the cost to the local health department!
More here.

Fargo, ND Commissioner still trying to move the citizens of North Dakota to action on the issue of TB in the refugee community.  (See my  previous post.)

From Inforum on Monday:

Fargo approves tuberculosis testing program as city official Piepkorn again raises alarm, points finger at LSS

commissioner john strand
Commissioner Strand

Commissioner Strand tells us exactly how fearful some elected officials are—not of TB, but of the PC Leftwing mob!

“This is a delicate issue, Mr. Piepkorn,” Commissioner John Strand said. “I just don’t want to get into targeting populations of people and identifying them as bringing different risks or not.”

The Centers for Disease Control is not as squeamish. Inforum continues,

The program’s guidelines, as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, define high-risk populations. In the context of the TB program, high-risk populations, include, “refugees, migrants or recent arrivals from high incidence countries, high-risk racial/ethnic populations within the jurisdiction, the homeless; injection drug users; recent contacts of an active TB case. Residents of high-risk congregate settings (i.e. jail/prison populations, nursing homes (not employees) and other long-term care facilities for the elderly . . . ” and so on.

Read it all here.

question markIt is great that two local news outlets are more forthcoming about the issue of Tuberculosis in the refugee and migrant population to the US, but why isn’t all this being reported nationally? Why isn’t it on the cable news or in big investigations by the New York Times or Washington Post?
It is your job to send the news far and wide through your networks! You don’t have to send my post, but send the links for the Star Tribune and Inforum to everyone you know!
