How (and Why?) was Veep Joe Biden Mucking Around in Central America?

Jim Simpson writing at American Thinker has pieced together a convincing account of Joe Biden’s nefarious involvement in the affairs of the Guatemalan government and his role in advancing the Communists’ agenda there.

(Remember when we assumed Obama picked Joe so Joe could act as a figurehead to attend boring funerals and such!)

The story is long and convoluted, but puts out a whole NEW set of allegations against good ol’ Joe that includes another possible pay-to-play scheme. 

For readers here you don’t need convincing that Joe Biden will damage US security if elected, but if he is elected this week (or in weeks to come!) consider this news as another avenue for patriots to pursue as the resistance to his presidency grows.

For naïve people who think America will calm down with Biden/Harris in the White House nothing can be further from the truth.

Joe Biden’s Hand in Corruption, Subversion and Crime in Guatemala

In 2014 and 2015, then-Vice President Joe Biden traveled to Guatemala three times to pressure the government to maintain a United Nations body known as the International Commission Against Impunity in Guatemala (CICIG).

CICIG was established in Guatemala in 2006 under the pretext of prosecuting “crimes committed by members of illegal security forces and clandestine security structures,” during Guatemala’s long civil war. Instead, CICIG — an international body unaccountable to Guatemalan law, worked with Guatemala’s Justice Ministry to arrest and jail the left’s opponents. Many remain illegally detained to this day without trial. Two prominent doctors and a Guatemalan congressman died in jail. All suffered ill health, did not receive proper treatment and were detained much longer than legally allowed. None got a trial. All were absolved following their deaths.

Biden met with then-Guatemalan President Otto Pérez Molina, who did not want to renew CICIG’s charter. The Obama administration had promised a $1 billion aid package to Northern Triangle countries (Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador), but Biden made the aid and upcoming trade agreements contingent upon renewing CICIG’s contract. First cajoling then threatening, Biden finally announced, “The CICIG is staying, period.” Biden used this same tactic in Ukraine, where he bragged about threatening to withhold loan guarantees until the Ukrainian government fired the prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden. Biden also sought Pérez’s help in extending CICIG’s rule to El Salvador and Honduras.

Pérez reluctantly agreed to renew CICIG’s charter. He was then pressured to resign under accusations of corruption and stripped by the Guatemalan Congress of legal immunity. The day after he resigned he was arrested and thrown in jail. He has remained there ever since, without trial. In a Daily Caller interview from jail, Pérez called these efforts, “a coup without bullets.”

Pérez said that, “CICIG amounts to a new form of U.S. interference in Guatemala’s affairs and that his country has surrendered its sovereignty over its justice system by allowing the unit to operate.”

CICIG’s litany of abuses includes arbitrary arrest, detention and interrogation without charges or trial, fabricated evidence, illegal break-ins and denial of due process, pretrial detention for years longer than allowed by Guatemalan law and many other abuses. Some of the charges it has brought are valid, given endemic corruption in Guatemala. But CICIG’s goal was not to stem corruption, rather to use it as a pretext to dispatch the left’s enemies and install vastly more corrupt individuals who will advance the Communist cause in Guatemala.

Read it all and save it for more ammunition for the resistance (our resistance).

Now this morning I see that the New York Post is reporting that the FBI is investigating the ‘swarming’ incident.  Maddening of course as that same FBI was hiding the Hunter laptop for almost a year (and would be still hiding it if it wasn’t for a patriotic computer repair shop owner).

Spontaneous Grassroots MAGA Rallies Overwhelm Big Tech

This will brighten your day!  And, maybe best to re-read and re-watch the videos at the Conservative Tree House (aka The Last Refuge) every day for the next week!

I don’t know about you, but I have been using Twitter to smile and laugh almost daily for the last few weeks as grassroots activists post their videos of massive pro-Trump rallies, car, truck, motorcycle and boat parades, and I especially liked the Trump brigades surrounding Biden’s pathetic pumpkin stage in Pennsylvania on Sunday.

Editors note on the picture of Biden arriving on that pumpkin stage:  I found a picture on Twitter, apparently taken from a distance by a Biden fan, and I cropped it and blew it up to reveal Biden being supported by Jill. Is she is using both hands to steady him as he walks to the podium? Astounding!

Have you heard anything about Biden planning to make no more public appearances now to election day?  Wasn’t sure if that is a rumor.

 

Big Tech Panicking – Trump’s Grassroots MAGA Army Working Around Platform Controls…

 

A diverse and patriotic MAGA movement is overwhelming the mechanisms of narrative control; and they are doing it by flooding the zones with a combination of “old school” and “modern tech” workarounds.  It’s quite honestly the most remarkable political dynamic since the organic Tea Party erupted in 2009.

“A right-wing offensive” is the 2020 narrative equivalent to Clinton’s vast Russian conspiracy theory.  The truth is Big Tech is getting their ass kicked by the American electorate and they are freaking out about how visible, in-your-face, unapologetic and dramatic the MAGA activism has become.

Here’s what is happening… really just an affirmation of what everyone is noticing and talking about…. and it is wonderful.

A combination of what I would call “old school” activism is taking place everywhere.  Car parades, boat parades, marches, rallies and massive swarms of American MAGA supporters are literally flooding the political space in a scale that makes it impossible to ignore.

The American people are all-in, right now when it matters most; the Monster Vote is also clearly evident.   Spontaneous acts of patriotism are now considered representative of the counter-culture; people of all colors, races, creeds and orientations are united under the Red, White and Blue MAGA banner; and all of this was initiated organically by an American President who just transparently loves this country.

MAGA bitches, this is just awesome.

After his stumbling performance in Thursday night’s debate, and the way in which his campaign seems to be hiding him from public view, it’s hard to imagine how Joe Biden wins the presidency on Nov. 3.

What does the demented old man mean by “dark winter?”

If Biden was seriously trying to win, he would be out on the campaign trail like President Trump, not in his basement.

The way Biden is acting, it’s almost as if he’s been told not to worry, the outcome is not going to be decided by vote tallies.

With that in mind, let’s think outside the box and examine some possibilities that may sound insane, until we detach ourselves from our normalcy bias.***

From this vantage point, all roads lead to the same dark place — a second coronavirus lockdown, indeed a harder lockdown than the first one.

And it could be accompanied this time by a coup d’ etat to remove Trump from office. Look for the establishment [deep state supported by deep media] to conjure up some false pretense to justify his removal despite the fact that he will win re-election on Nov. 3, fair and square.

All the signals are pointing to this. And the latest came from Biden himself.

During the debate, Biden held up his black mask, looked straight into the camera and said “We’re about to go into a dark winter.”

***As I explained in a post a couple of months ago  ‘normalcy bias’ has resulted in the deaths of millions throughout history. There is no downside to considering all of the possibilities for the coming weeks, months, and God forbid years, just don’t stress.  We are in God’s hands.

If you have been wondering how one of the Senate’s least wealthy Senators is now a millionaire and you have also heard about presidential candidate Joe Biden’s numerous ‘homes,’ Revolver News has pulled together a few stories from recent years to help give us some clarity.

For most of his 44-year-long career in public office, Joe Biden had a nickname: Middle Class Joe. He also often called himself “one of the poorest members of Congress.” His scrappy roots—born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to a father who suffered a number of financial setbacks—are now a big part of his 2020 presidential campaign’s plan to appeal to American voters. But according to the Wall Street Journal, the reason why Biden was often at the bottom of the wealth ladder among his colleagues in the Senate had a lot to do with his life-long obsession with real estate. “Even as a kid in high school I’d been seduced by real estate,” he wrote in his 2007 autobiography, Promises to Keep.

Biden began buying homes—especially those that were outside his budget—in his twenties, taking out multiple mortgages and receiving loans against life insurance policies. His net worth was often in the negatives—in 2007, he was ranked the least wealthy senator.

Today, the 77-year-old Democratic presidential nominee is hardly middle class anymore. According to a 2019 Forbes estimate, Biden and his wife Jill are worth $9 million, much of that accrued from speaking fees and book deals that came pouring in after his vice presidency. About $4 million of that worth is in his real estate.

The 2018 story featuring Paul Manafort tells us the steps for how to hide dirty money from scrutiny. Buying luxury items/real estate is a common practice.

 

Real estate is often the preferred destination for a financial criminal’s ill-gotten gains for the same reason real estate is attractive to any investor: Real estate prices are generally stable and will appreciate over time. Real estate is also functional; a money launderer could use the property as a second home or rent it out, earning income from the investment.

“You’re not gonna lose money on the transaction,” said Chris Quick, a former FBI agent who now runs a private investigation firm in South Carolina. “You buy a piece of real estate for a million, you’re gonna get rent on it or you’re hoping it’ll appreciate in value so when you sell 4 or 5 years down the road, you’re gonna make 25 percent on it. That’s one of the reasons why it’s attractive.”

Real estate also offers a path to legitimacy that is more efficient than the purchase of stocks or other assets related to financial institutions. It’s also less subject to scrutiny—those institutions have a legal requirement to report suspicious activities.

Buying real estate is the last step in what law-enforcement officials describe as a three-step money-laundering process.
