Throwing Kisses to Frank Miele!

“The establishment declared war on me… when it told me my ideas weren’t worthy of debate and discussion or that they were even so dangerous they couldn’t be shared publicly.”

(Frank Miele)

An opinion piece at Real Clear Politics is the most important thing you can read this week!

Buy it somewhere other than at Amazon! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/54388458-how-we-got-here

As I write this I am so proud to say that I met Mr. Miele in Montana in 2016.  I don’t know if he remembers me, but I am so thrilled to see this absolutely spot-on piece about where we are today.

In the last few days I have found myself fuming over the Other Sides’ bullying tactics. How about you?  Everywhere you turn you are told to keep you politics to yourself.

How often have I heard in recent weeks, especially since January 6th, that those of us who believe in the Constitution, support Donald Trump, question the results of the 2020 election, and are conservatives in the way we view the world are being bullied into silence, from family members, from neighbors, on social media and from people we hardly know or never met!

I have never once told someone they weren’t permitted to tell me their political views, why the heck do they think they have a right to shame us and tell us to shut up!

Frank Miele, the retired editor of the Daily Inter Lake in Kalispell Montana, and author of ‘How we got here. The Left’s Assault on the Constitution‘ helps us understand exactly what is being done to us.

Enemies of the State vs. Enemies of the People

I didn’t declare war on the establishment; it declared war on me.

It declared war on me when it supported energy policies that could enrich Saudi Arabia and Russia and would cost me more money at the gas pump or on my power bill.

It declared war on me when it told me my ideas weren’t worthy of debate and discussion or that they were even so dangerous they couldn’t be shared publicly.

It declared war on me when it used the police powers of the FBI and CIA to first spy on a presidential candidate and then worked to undermine the administration of that candidate after he was elected.

It declared war on me when it told me my religious beliefs did not deserve the protection of the First Amendment.

Continue reading his list! Then this:

Let’s just say it plainly: The establishment declared war on me and on all conservative Americans when it decided that leftist orthodoxy was more important than the Constitution.

Don’t believe me? Fine, why should you believe a Trump supporter? You’ve been indoctrinated by the national media, Big Tech oligarchs, the Democratic Party, and academic elites to believe without questioning that people like me can’t be trusted.

This “guilt by labeling” is the antithesis of fair play or justice. It is a convenient mechanism for the ruling class to herd people into identity clusters so that individual rights can be supplanted by group responsibility. If this reminds you of China’s Cultural Revolution, you are not wrong. The ruling class wants you to conform, confirm and comply. If you step outside the lines, be prepared to be shamed, silenced and ostracized.

By the way, I am reading that above as I learned yesterday that once again the Southern Poverty Law Center, attempting to intimidate me into silence, has called me a “hate group.”

Yeh, just me at my other blog Refugee Resettlement Watch, but more on that later.

Never mind that there is no group they are calling a group—just me!

Now go to Mr. Miele’s closing paragraphs including this one….

No wonder the people are starting to rise up and rebel against the plutocracy.

(A plutocracy is government by the wealthy.)

Keep speaking, keep writing, keep communicating and never let them shut you up.  The next time you are told at a family gathering or other social event to keep your politics to yourself say politely that you don’t plan to stay silent anymore!  WE have nothing to be ashamed of!

On Gab the other day, I saw a suggestion that I thought was a good one.  Find every avenue you can on e-mail chains, social media, your local newspaper, whatever, and use them all to spread a conservative, America First! message.

A Little Virtue Signal from the Right? Why Not!

A friend sent a photo of a yard sign she had seen recently.

Here it is:

When I looked around this morning, I found a 2017 story about the signs at the Philadelphia Inquirer.  The story includes a link for where they can be purchased.  I’m not posting it here because I am short on time and can’t check it out at the moment. (Gotta post at RRW right now.)

The message made me laugh and hope it gives you a chuckle.

Remember that humor is a powerful political weapon! Fight back!

Rural People Want Separation and Freedom from Elite City Overlords

Here is one example of where rural people are fighting back, even if it seems like it is a hopeless case.

I expect it is happening in other states too.

From The Hill:

Group in Colorado county seeks secession from state to join Wyoming

A group of disenfranchised Colorado residents are exploring the possibility of annexing from their home state and changing boundary lines so their entire county becomes part of Wyoming.

Christopher “Todd” Richards is leading the effort with his “Weld County Wyoming” political committee, created last February, according to local outlet Fox 31 KDVR.

The organization is working to get a measure added to the November 2021 ballot that would encourage county commissioners to “engage and explore the annexation of Weld County with the State of Wyoming’s Legislature.”

The purpose of the measure is to “get out from under the thumb” of Colorado’s more liberal government, according to the group’s Facebook page.
[….]
“Can this be done? Yes, it can be done. Is it going to be easy? No,” Richards said during a meeting posted to YouTube in November.

Whether it can be done or not, this is the kind of thing many rural communities should be pushing because it helps to educate Americans about how rural people, the country class, have had enough and they are fighting back.

It is a warning shot to the elitists, a warning to the ruling class, and one that does garner mainstream media attention.

By the way, for those who do not follow my Refugee Resettlement blog here is a little factoid.  Wyoming is the only state in the nation that does not resettle refugees and never has in the forty years the UN and the feds have been spreading the third world to rural America.

Making the moves! Time to get your communication house in order!

As I am sure you are all painfully aware, conservative voices are being silenced. BIG Tech and BIG government have colluded to make it very hard for us to communicate and disseminate news. I expect it to get even harder!

And, if you are like me— OLD!—it is a challenge to break long held habits and learn new tricks.

But, before I get to that, let me mention again that right now you can follow at least three (but there are many more) websites/blogs to fill you in on breaking news throughout the day.  Gateway Pundit, Conservative Tree House, and Just the News.

(Sorry if I am missing some of your favorites.)

You don’t need me to repeat what they are reporting.

For immigration news I check the news aggregator Borderhawk News that is linked in my sidebar.

So what am I doing to distance myself from BIG TECH that is working with the Socialists to change America?

First, I am dumping Google from my life. It will take time.  But, know that in a few days, I will no longer be using gmail that is linked in my sidebar at both of my blogs.

And, I have gone to Brave for all of my browsing needs. Be prepared for some additional work as you may have to make changes to passwords and get notices from say your credit card company wondering if someone other than you is accessing your account.

You can read about Brave here at The Federalist:

How To Stop Using Google Search On Your Computer And Phone

You will then most likely look to Duck Duck Go for your searches.

The Federalist also published a useful piece about the right-wing witch hunt which I will get to in a minute, but which contains this bit of information on changes you should be making.

Modify Your Online Presence. One of the most important steps you can take is to modify your online presence by jumping out of Google, Facebook, and iChat and into technologies that are less intrusive. Here are a few to use:

These are all examples of ways that you can search and communicate on the internet without having intrusive data collectors follow you around the whole time!

I don’t know Element and am staying on Facebook as long as I am able to reach the thousands I am reaching now with my Refugee Resettlement facebook page.  Or, LOL! Until they dump me.  I will eventually move to MeWe.

As I reported Twitter has blocked me from reaching my account there and I refuse to give Google any more information. Why stay at Twitter as they work to diminish your reach.  I am on Gab (@Refugeewatcher), but not super active and don’t have many followers yet.

Now to that Federalist article yesterday, the one with the tips above by Dan Carpenter (hat tip: Scott).  Readers may remember I discussed prepping last summer, see here reposted in December.

Who knew there were so many Americans of all stripes who don’t think it is a joke to be ready to take care of themselves and their loved ones.

But, LOL! Beware the Lefties think you are planning to overthrow the government because you have a stash of canned beans in your basement!

And, God forbid, we don’t want the government coming for our toilet paper trove as Biden forbids the destruction of trees ….

The Right-Wing Witch Hunt Makes It A Good Time To Keep Your Well-Stocked Pantry A Secret

More and more, people taking common-sense steps to incorporate resiliency into their lives are being labeled ‘insurrectionists’ and incriminated in the latest right-wing witch hunt.

Most “preppers” don’t dress in camouflage and live in underground bunkers, waiting for zombies. Nor do they sit in front of a conspiracy board plotting a government overthrow.

Today’s preppers come in all flavors. They’re Prius-driving data analysts who convert their homes to solar energy. They’re soccer moms who keep the spare room stocked with canned produce from last year’s garden. They’re outdoorsmen who know how to filter water in the backcountry.

Simply put, a “prepper” is someone who takes common-sense measures to prepare for future disasters. They do sensible things like storing food and water for potential supply chain interruptions, or having a generator to provide electricity in the wake of a devastating natural disaster. They shoulder the responsibility for their own wellbeing in the face of potential misfortunes.

Yet more and more, people taking common-sense steps to incorporate resiliency into their lives are being labeled “insurrectionists” and incriminated in the latest right-wing witch hunt. As the grip of fear tightens, the mainstream-media-consuming majority is quick to accuse people who have done no wrong.

One last point on communicating.  I have been saying (begging!) for years for more of you to start your own blogs.  It is not difficult! There is a critical need for bloggers to write about their towns/cities/counties or states!

And, if you only reach a small number of people each, but tens of thousands of you have a blog, they will not be able to silence everybody!

What are you waiting for!
