Election Fraud: Is AG Barr Serious, or is His Move a Sop to 70 Million Americans?

Editor:  You likely know all of this news already.  I started this post yesterday, but my internet went down again.

Surely you have heard this news from Monday reported here at Politico (Leftwingers) who suggest that Barr is not serious, but only making this move to appease the President and us.

By the way, it is often much more useful to read the other side’s media than ours sometimes.

Whatever the motive, his move forced the director of the DOJ Criminal Division’s Election Crimes Branch to resign his post.  However, you should read this as good news!  I urge you to do a little search on one Richard Pilger who has headed that branch of the DOJ since 2010.

His name will be familiar to anyone who watched the Obama administration’s attack on Tea Party and other Conservative groups attempts to get an IRS determination to be allowed to raise money for their small emerging political action groups.

Barr OK for election-fraud investigations roils Justice Department

Attorney General William Barr appeared Monday to make a bid to reassure backers of President Donald Trump who have complained bitterly in recent days that the Justice Department was not taking action to combat alleged voter fraud and other election irregularities.

In a memo to U.S. attorneys, Barr authorized them to open election-fraud investigations “if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual State.”

Barr’s memo broadening the authorities of prosecutors in the election season had an abrupt and dramatic impact: prompting the veteran career official running the Justice Department branch that oversees such prosecutions to step down from his post, effective immediately.

Shortly after Barr’s directive was released, Richard Pilger, director of the DOJ Criminal Division’s Election Crimes Branch, sent colleagues an email saying he was transferring to another role in the department. The 28-year-veteran federal prosecutor also made unmistakably clear that alarm at Barr’s policy shift prompted his exit from the job he has held since 2010.

Vanita Gupta, who served as head of Justice’s Civil Rights Division under President Barack Obama, posted a copy of Pilger’s resignation email online and called it “a testament to how grossly politicized and partisan the Barr DOJ is, in service of Trump.”

Still, the wording of Barr’s memo left unclear whether it was largely a sop to the president’s supporters or whether it portends serious investigations into last week’s election, of which Joe Biden was declared the winner over Trump.

Gupta suggested the memo was little more than posturing intended to satisfy the president and fuel misperceptions that voting fraud on any serious scale affected the 2020 presidential contest.

“Let’s be clear — this is about disruption, disinformation, and sowing chaos,” Gupta, now president of the Leadership Conference on Civil & Human Rights. “Trump is furious, demanding all ‘his’ lawyers take action. They have no evidence, so they’ll push the PR.”

“Voters decided election & overwhelmingly picked Biden,” added Gupta. “Election was secure & fair. No factual basis for memo. Scaremongering about opening investigations doesn’t change result.”

If I have the energy to continue blogging, it would be fun to feature the Biden/Harris players as they scurry back into government hidey-holes (if they succeed in stealing the election, that is.)

I’m taking a break from posting here.  I will definitely get back to posting at RRW soon because there aren’t many people keeping an eye on that topic.

The other day I directed you to Leo Hohmann’s ‘Dark Winter’ post in which he mentions Shutdown DC, a radical group prepared to hit the streets in Washington, DC (and beyond) on Election Day.

Michelle Malkin featured the progressive extremists in a column on Tuesday.

The part I found most interesting was that Shutdown DC has infiltrated many federal government agencies and is organizing hidden activists who work for you and me (the taxpayer!) to do whatever they can to undermine the Trump administration from within.

Who says there isn’t a deep state?

Ready or not, here they come. The ground troops of the anti-Donald Trump resistance aren’t just biding their time until Election Day for Hidin’ Joe Biden. Hell no. They’re making their direct action checklists and checking them twice. They’re training for instigating.

Another key social justice player, ShutDown D.C., is teaming with Sunrise Movement guerilla warriors to mobilize students, community organizers and even federal employees to take to the streets on Nov. 3.

ShutDown D.C. anticipates that 10,000 protesters from a motley assortment of affinity groups will converge at Black Lives Matter Plaza to engage in “civil resistance” if President Trump tries to “steal the election.” A “Flying Bike Squad” is “coming together as a rapid response team,” according to organizers. If it’s anything like the skateboard squads and soup can squads who’ve used everyday items as weapons to beat Trump supporters, look for more blood to spill in the name of “peaceful protest.” Mass disruptions are planned at train stations and airports, on highways and in residential neighborhoods for at least the first full week after Election Day.

“We’ll keep it going until Trump concedes,” ShutDown D.C. threatens in its outline of a “No More Business As Usual” blockade across the country. “We could be in the streets throughout the fall and into the winter — maybe as lots of rolling waves of action or possibly as a few major tsunamis! In other parts of the country, as vote counts conclude, our focus will turn from protecting the vote counts to themselves being ungovernable.”

Here’s what has me especially concerned: The “deep state” Trump-haters are openly gearing up to do everything they can from inside the federal government to assist the resistance.

If you are wondering why the agencies represented here deal mostly with the environment, it is because Shutdown DC is filled with climate activists who have promoted civil unrest in the past.

By the way, I know a lot of you patriots love the National Parks, but as a longtime defender of property rights for landowners around National Parks you need to know that, due to its voracious appetite for more land, the Park Service is not a good neighbor when the Dems are in control of the government.

‘Choose Democracy’ Claims it is Organizing to Stop Trump’s Coup

Yes, this group of community organizers is planning to go to the streets at election time because they believe Trump will not leave office if he loses.  They think that Donald Trump is planning a coup.  Nevermind that Obama and his entire inner circle has been trying to illegally overthrow Trump for over four years.

They make it sound like they are going to bodily remove the President on November 4th, but no matter what happens, he is President until inauguration day in January (LOL! do they know that!).

This is a prime example of how the media (granted BuzzFeed “leans left”) carries the water for the Progressive Left and obviously is enjoying hyping the size of the Trump opposition.

The ‘star’ of this story is a humble former “public school teacher” who has been moved by the words of that meany in the White House to get politically active this year and has selected a group called Choose Democracy where she is putting in time as a volunteer (two hours a day!).

This Is How Thousands Of Americans Are Preparing To Take On Trump If He Refuses To Leave Office

One day late last month, longtime activist George Lakey was yet again training people on how to peacefully resist a coup. But this time, he was not in Moscow or Bangkok or one of the many other far-off places where he has traveled over his 70-year career as a sociologist and writer promoting democracy and nonviolent forms of protest. He was in the United States, at his home in suburban Philadelphia.

On the other end of Lakey’s Zoom webinar were around 1,000 American voters — 500 more, he noted, than had shown up the week before — from around the country who were glued to their screens, taking careful notes.

As President Donald Trump has spent the last few months planting seeds of doubt about the integrity of the US’s electoral process and urging his supporters to “go into the polls and watch very carefully,” dozens of advocacy groups, mostly progressive, have been hard at work trying to organize and train everyday Americans for what to do if their democracy appears to fall apart before their eyes.

“When Trump a few weeks ago began saying he wouldn’t commit to a peaceful transfer of power, that’s when I decided I needed to do it,” said Lisa Graustein, a 45-year-old former public school teacher in Boston, of her decision to give up two hours of her day to partake in a training on the finer points of mass demonstrations, peaceful sit-ins, and putting public pressure on elected officials.

Graustein, who now runs a food distribution center [see packing Goya beans photo–must have been before Goya CEO came out for Trump!—ed], said she had been “semi active” in local political and activist causes in the past.

Still, that was a far cry from pondering the questions Lakey asked in the training, such as: Are you a person who will stand up to authority and be a voice for others? Or hearing Lakey assure the group that dictatorships fall when the masses rise up and that nonviolent resistance — like in Argentina in 1987 and the Soviet Union in 1991 — could be used to defeat a possible power grab by Trump.

But Graustein said she and all her friends and work colleagues are anxious about the election. “People not active in previous elections are active now,” she said. And so when someone in her Quaker community told her about the training, she signed up.

The idea behind the effort was to “actually help prevent” the possibility of a coup, explained Eileen Flanagan, who moderated the training with Lakey.

The training was organized by Choose Democracy, a Washington, DC–based group that describes itself as a “crew of organizers, activists, trainers, academics, and concerned citizens preparing for the scenario of a coup in 2020.”

So BuzzFeed reporter, Ukrainian-based Christopher Miller, wants you to believe that Lisa the food bank worker, just a typical American middle-aged woman, is motivated for the first time to go to the streets to throw ‘orange man’ from the White House.

But, hold on a second!

“Someone in her Quaker community” told her about Choose Democracy?  She didn’t know Daddy was its primary funder?

I checked Open Secrets on Choose Democracy and it seems that in mid September, someone with the same last name, Graustein, was the primary donor to the PAC Choose Democracy.

Related to Lisa Graustein? Sure looks like it.

It seems that the fund has taken a “new direction” over the years helped along by William’s daughter Lisa.  See here.

Lakey is an oft-arrested Quaker

It seems pretty clear that Ms. Graustein is not a newbie to political agitation.

After all, she is a Quaker.

Most Americans don’t know that the ‘Friends’ (aka Quakers) are an extreme leftwing political group.

I wrote about them at RRW and elsewhere over the years because they have worked closely with pro-Palestinian and Islamic supremacist groups.

You will see at the Wall Street Journal that they are aggressively anti-Israel.

Be sure to read more of the BuzzFeed story that never mention’s Lisa Graustein’s connection to the source of money that is going to organizing spearheaded by an infamous community organizer, George Lakey.

One last thing….

I see at Open Secrets that Choose Democracy had not spent any of the Graustein’s money, or anyone else’s, through the end of September, so this PAC isn’t contributing to the Biden campaign, or any other campaign it seems.

Note again that 6 donors gave the vast majority of the funds Choose Democracy has available.

Makes me wonder if they are saving their bucks for street action—hiring agitators, covering their expenses, and buying ‘supplies’ as they plan to storm Washington, DC. and the Trump White House.
