Kansas Assisted Living Facility Sued in Dementia Patient Rape Case

I’ve been so busy writing about the fraud surrounding the election of Chairman Joe, I haven’t been tracking the crime cases that might interest you.

Cases like this one that will never appear in the mainstream media for reasons that will become obvious when you read it!

As we have said many times, it is critically important for everyone who must place a loved one in a care home of any sort, to keep a watchful eye on that vulnerable senior or dementia patient. Visit often and visit at odd times!

This story from Kansas is sickening.

From McKnight’s Senior Living:

Operator faces $1.5M wrongful death lawsuit over failure to conduct timely background check

A Kansas assisted living community is facing a $1.5 million wrongful death lawsuit alleging “grossly wanton and negligent” actions in failing to conduct a timely background check on an employee now charged with raping a resident.

None that I could find anyway! Muhammed Qadeer Akram

The complaint againstThe Mapletonin Andover, KS, alleges that a “brutal rape” of a 68-year-old former resident by a former certified nursing assistant with a history of sexual assaults was a contributing factor in the woman’s death in August.

According to the complaint, the resident’s diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia “robbed her of her ability to advocate for herself, meet her basic hygienic needs or feed herself.” She moved into the community in March 2020.

That summer, according to the lawsuit, the woman’s daughter contacted the Kansas Department of Aging and the Andover Police Department, where she filed an abuse and neglect case. The daughter pursued the action after a hospice nurse noticed that the resident’s face and pubic region had been shaved and the facility did not provide answers to questions about who accessed her mother’s room. The daughter moved her mother to another senior living community in early August. The woman died Aug. 25.

The complaint states that Kim Dobbin, operator of the community, eventually told the police that an employee, Muhammed Qadeer Akram, admitted to shaving the resident “to make it easier to keep her clean.” The state investigator recommended the woman undergo a sexual assault exam, which revealed Akram’s DNA. He now is criminally charged with raping a mentally deficient victim. [You might want to look into information on the Islamic practice of shaving pubic hair. -ed]

He had a criminal background!

The state investigation also revealed that Mapleton did not check Akram’s criminal background until June 24, six months after he began caring for residents. A state cursory background check revealed that Akram had a 2005 rape allegation and a 2006 sexual battery charge, and that the Kansas Board of Healing Arts ruled in 2008 that he should have limited interactions with female patients after “allegations of sexual misconduct.” In 2009, Akram’s petition to terminate the limitations on his license was granted by the board.

Akram also previously had been sentenced to 18 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit food stamp fraud, food stamp fraud and wire fraud.

The Wichita Eagle did a really big story on the case which I didn’t see until moments ago as I was ready to post this.  See how persistent the daughter was!  Check it out for more details.

I was looking for something else to illustrate how important it is to keep an eye on vulnerable seniors and came across this short, apparently British, video about physical abuse of seniors and other vulnerable people.

It is all commonsense, but still helpful.

A Little Virtue Signal from the Right? Why Not!

A friend sent a photo of a yard sign she had seen recently.

Here it is:

When I looked around this morning, I found a 2017 story about the signs at the Philadelphia Inquirer.  The story includes a link for where they can be purchased.  I’m not posting it here because I am short on time and can’t check it out at the moment. (Gotta post at RRW right now.)

The message made me laugh and hope it gives you a chuckle.

Remember that humor is a powerful political weapon! Fight back!

Rural People Want Separation and Freedom from Elite City Overlords

Here is one example of where rural people are fighting back, even if it seems like it is a hopeless case.

I expect it is happening in other states too.

From The Hill:

Group in Colorado county seeks secession from state to join Wyoming

A group of disenfranchised Colorado residents are exploring the possibility of annexing from their home state and changing boundary lines so their entire county becomes part of Wyoming.

Christopher “Todd” Richards is leading the effort with his “Weld County Wyoming” political committee, created last February, according to local outlet Fox 31 KDVR.

The organization is working to get a measure added to the November 2021 ballot that would encourage county commissioners to “engage and explore the annexation of Weld County with the State of Wyoming’s Legislature.”

The purpose of the measure is to “get out from under the thumb” of Colorado’s more liberal government, according to the group’s Facebook page.
[….]
“Can this be done? Yes, it can be done. Is it going to be easy? No,” Richards said during a meeting posted to YouTube in November.

Whether it can be done or not, this is the kind of thing many rural communities should be pushing because it helps to educate Americans about how rural people, the country class, have had enough and they are fighting back.

It is a warning shot to the elitists, a warning to the ruling class, and one that does garner mainstream media attention.

By the way, for those who do not follow my Refugee Resettlement blog here is a little factoid.  Wyoming is the only state in the nation that does not resettle refugees and never has in the forty years the UN and the feds have been spreading the third world to rural America.

Making the moves! Time to get your communication house in order!

As I am sure you are all painfully aware, conservative voices are being silenced. BIG Tech and BIG government have colluded to make it very hard for us to communicate and disseminate news. I expect it to get even harder!

And, if you are like me— OLD!—it is a challenge to break long held habits and learn new tricks.

But, before I get to that, let me mention again that right now you can follow at least three (but there are many more) websites/blogs to fill you in on breaking news throughout the day.  Gateway Pundit, Conservative Tree House, and Just the News.

(Sorry if I am missing some of your favorites.)

You don’t need me to repeat what they are reporting.

For immigration news I check the news aggregator Borderhawk News that is linked in my sidebar.

So what am I doing to distance myself from BIG TECH that is working with the Socialists to change America?

First, I am dumping Google from my life. It will take time.  But, know that in a few days, I will no longer be using gmail that is linked in my sidebar at both of my blogs.

And, I have gone to Brave for all of my browsing needs. Be prepared for some additional work as you may have to make changes to passwords and get notices from say your credit card company wondering if someone other than you is accessing your account.

You can read about Brave here at The Federalist:

How To Stop Using Google Search On Your Computer And Phone

You will then most likely look to Duck Duck Go for your searches.

The Federalist also published a useful piece about the right-wing witch hunt which I will get to in a minute, but which contains this bit of information on changes you should be making.

Modify Your Online Presence. One of the most important steps you can take is to modify your online presence by jumping out of Google, Facebook, and iChat and into technologies that are less intrusive. Here are a few to use:

These are all examples of ways that you can search and communicate on the internet without having intrusive data collectors follow you around the whole time!

I don’t know Element and am staying on Facebook as long as I am able to reach the thousands I am reaching now with my Refugee Resettlement facebook page.  Or, LOL! Until they dump me.  I will eventually move to MeWe.

As I reported Twitter has blocked me from reaching my account there and I refuse to give Google any more information. Why stay at Twitter as they work to diminish your reach.  I am on Gab (@Refugeewatcher), but not super active and don’t have many followers yet.

Now to that Federalist article yesterday, the one with the tips above by Dan Carpenter (hat tip: Scott).  Readers may remember I discussed prepping last summer, see here reposted in December.

Who knew there were so many Americans of all stripes who don’t think it is a joke to be ready to take care of themselves and their loved ones.

But, LOL! Beware the Lefties think you are planning to overthrow the government because you have a stash of canned beans in your basement!

And, God forbid, we don’t want the government coming for our toilet paper trove as Biden forbids the destruction of trees ….

The Right-Wing Witch Hunt Makes It A Good Time To Keep Your Well-Stocked Pantry A Secret

More and more, people taking common-sense steps to incorporate resiliency into their lives are being labeled ‘insurrectionists’ and incriminated in the latest right-wing witch hunt.

Most “preppers” don’t dress in camouflage and live in underground bunkers, waiting for zombies. Nor do they sit in front of a conspiracy board plotting a government overthrow.

Today’s preppers come in all flavors. They’re Prius-driving data analysts who convert their homes to solar energy. They’re soccer moms who keep the spare room stocked with canned produce from last year’s garden. They’re outdoorsmen who know how to filter water in the backcountry.

Simply put, a “prepper” is someone who takes common-sense measures to prepare for future disasters. They do sensible things like storing food and water for potential supply chain interruptions, or having a generator to provide electricity in the wake of a devastating natural disaster. They shoulder the responsibility for their own wellbeing in the face of potential misfortunes.

Yet more and more, people taking common-sense steps to incorporate resiliency into their lives are being labeled “insurrectionists” and incriminated in the latest right-wing witch hunt. As the grip of fear tightens, the mainstream-media-consuming majority is quick to accuse people who have done no wrong.

One last point on communicating.  I have been saying (begging!) for years for more of you to start your own blogs.  It is not difficult! There is a critical need for bloggers to write about their towns/cities/counties or states!

And, if you only reach a small number of people each, but tens of thousands of you have a blog, they will not be able to silence everybody!

What are you waiting for!

Texas Brings First Successful Lawsuit Against Biden Executive Orders

“I promise my fellow Texans and Americans that I will fight against the many unconstitutional and illegal actions that the new administration will take, challenge federal overreach that infringes on Texans’ rights, and serve as a major check against the administration’s lawlessness.”

(Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton)

What is good for the goose is good for the gander, right!

Do you remember how the Socialist Democrats at places like the ACLU and the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society et al stopped most of Trump’s efforts to reform immigration and the Refugee Resettlement process (to keep us safe!) and Trump was sued in virtually every effort.

Let’s hope this is the beginning of a trend!

From the Austin-American Statesman:

Federal Texas judge halts Biden’s 100-day deportation ban after Paxton challenge

A federal judge on Tuesday temporarily barred the U.S. government from enforcing a 100-day deportation moratorium, an immigration priority of President Joe Biden.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Friday had asked U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton, a nominee of former President Donald Trump who took the bench in Corpus Christi last June, to block the Biden administration’s new policy that pauses most deportations for the next 100 days.

“Texas is the FIRST state in the nation to bring a lawsuit against the Biden Admin,” Paxton, a conservative Republican, wrote on Twitter. “AND WE WON. Within 6 days of Biden’s inauguration, Texas has HALTED his illegal deportation freeze. *This* was a seditious left-wing insurrection. And my team and I stopped it.”

[….]

….Tipton said the Biden administration and key federal agencies that deal with immigration “do not have discretion to completely disregard” federal code that says “when an alien is ordered removed, the Attorney General shall remove the alien from the United States within a period of 90 days.”

[….]

The case appears poised to make its way to the federal appeals courts quickly.

More here.

Wow! 1,008 Deportation Flights in 2020!

Just so you know, the open borders agitators were pretty ticked-off at the Trump Administration as it got so many illegals/criminals deported in its final days, including on these flights to Africa.

Going home were “Somali, Ethiopian and Kenyan deportees.”

To the Socialist Dems, they are all “asylum seekers” rather than criminals….
