Free Speech Dead in France; We Could Be Next if Dems Take the White House

Have you ever used the phrase “invasion” when talking about mass migration to America, or how about publishing anything about the “great replacement?” If so, beware of the Dems, if the Open Borders Left regains control of the White House.

It won’t be just Dems out to get us either, but as Michelle Malkin has learned some of our ‘conservative’ friends want to silence speech around the issue of immigration.

If it is happening in France, it could happen here—just a few years down the road.

From Paul Joseph Watson (hat tip: Jim):

French Intellectual Sentenced to 2 Months in Prison For Calling Mass Immigration an “Invasion”

French intellectual Renaud Camus has been given a 2 month suspended prison sentence for saying that mass immigration into Europe represents an “invasion.”

Renaud Camus is a gay, former Socialist, who penned his controversial treatise on what he calls “The Great Replacement” in 2011. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renaud_Camus

Camus will only avoid jail by paying 1800 euros to two “anti-racist” organizations, SOS Racisme and the LICRA (International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism).

The writer, who is the author of Le Grand Remplacement (The Great Replacement), was charged with “public incitement to hate or violence on the basis of origin, ethnicity, nationality, race or religion.”

The conviction stems from a November 2017 speech in Colombey-les-deux Eglises to the National Council of European Resistance in which Camus declared, “Immigration has become an invasion.”

The irreversible colonization is demographic colonization, by the replacement of the population,” said the author, adding, “The ethnic substitution, the great replacement, is the most important event in the history of our nation since it has existed; as with other people, if the story continues, it will not be that of France.”

Camus also called for a “national consensus of resistance” to oppose Islamization in “the struggle for the salvation of our common civilization, Celtic, Slavic, Germanic, Greek-Latin, Judeo-Christian.”

The part of Camus’ speech that specifically garnered the attention of judges was when he talked about European people being replaced.

Camus said mass immigration “is the substitution, the tendency to substitute everything with its emulator, normalized, standardized, interchangeable: The original with its copy, the authentic with its imitation, the true with the false, the mothers with surrogate mothers, the culture with free time and entertainment.”

By the way, at Refugee Resettlement Watch I have been labeling my posts on Europe in an archive I call “Invasion of Europe” for ten years!

Don’t let the Leftwing fascists silence you, keep talking and use the words that are most appropriate.  Have no fear!

ISIS to its Followers: Cause the West Pain by Setting Forests Ablaze

This news from Fox News yesterday reminded me of a reader at Refugee Resettlement Watch who sent me information and stories to post for probably a year or so.

She (I think the tipster was a she!) told me how important fire is as a weapon of jihad as she often found stories about mysterious fires, not just forest fires, that she identified as linked to an Islamic imperative—to wage jihad.

I haven’t heard from her for about five years, but her admonitions about fire jihad stuck with me.

Here is Fox News:

ISIS encouraging followers to set wildfires in forests, fields of US, Europe

The Islamic State terror group may have recently lost its leader, but a media outlet affiliated with the group is urging followers to continue to literally set ablaze new paths of terror and destruction.

At least four propaganda posters have appeared in recent months from the pro-ISIS media outlet Quraysh Media that have encouraged followers to “ignite fires” of their own, literally setting wildfires in the U.S. and Europe as a means of “waging jihad,” according to the Middle East Media Research Institute.

MEMRI, which tracks communications of radical groups, said the first poster in the series was published in April.

“Oh monotheists [followers of ISIS], ignite fires in the forests and fields, and we are addressing especially those who live in Europe and America, for they are painful to them,” the poster read, according to MEMRI.

[….]

“Ignite fires in the forests of America, France, Britain and Germany, for they are painful to them,” the text reads, according to MEMRI.

It would be pretty darn easy!  And, even if authorities suspected that type of arson, they would likely keep it from us and blame global warming instead.

Refugee vs. Economic Migrant: Europe's Story is our Story

For the last dozen years I’ve followed the issues surrounding what the UN calls a refugee crisis (to the UN, it is always a crisis!), but there are now some serious efforts underway to better define the language surrounding migrants-on-the-move around the world.
The International Left works day and night to convince the uninformed public that anyone on the move around the world for any reason is a REFUGEE with a right to live in a first world country.

Salvini stop invasion poster
Italy’s Salvini: Most are “fake refugees!”

That is just not true! Most migrants are economic migrants seeking employment (or welfare!).
Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini is one of the first European leaders to label most of those trying to get to Europe as “fake refugees.”
That is also the case for those trying to break into America across our southern border.
Here is news a few days ago from NBC News of all places:

Europe grapples with distinction between refugees and economic migrants

I’m posting a couple paragraphs from near the end of the story first:

According to the United Nations, a refugee is someone who is “unable or unwilling to return to their country of origin owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted” and has the right to asylum in another country. [Right to apply for asylum says the UN, not a guarantee of asylum!—ed]
An economic migrant is generally considered to be someone who leaves their country in search of work or a higher standard of living, not to flee persecution.

It is persecution for race, religion, political view, etc. they must prove, and NOT because there are criminal gangs in their own country, or that they simply want a better life!
Here are the opening paragraphs:

LONDON — With every new storm-tossed rescue ship that hauls drowning migrants out of the Mediterranean Sea, European governments are becoming increasingly reluctant to throw open their ports.

The distinction between “genuine” refugees and economic migrants is being seized upon as countries, weary of playing the good Samaritan, are now pushing to prevent asylum-seekers from reaching their soil in the first place.

Italy and Malta have closed their harbors to rescue ships and are demanding that other European countries share the responsibility or that migrants are taken to ports in places like Tunisia instead. Migrants must claim asylum in the first European Union country they reach. That means the nations closest to conflict and poverty in the Middle East and Africa have been forced to cope with the biggest proportion of new arrivals.

Americans pay attention!
Those caravan migrants from Central America and elsewhere, passing through Mexico to our border, should have asked for asylum in Mexico, at its southern border, if they were legitimate refugees.
But, in fact, they are “asylum shopping” which is a term used to describe those looking for the best deal in a more generous country.

Since last summer, Italy has also clamped down on humanitarian operations by detaining rescue vessels on charges ranging from illegally aiding migrants to not being properly registered. That has resulted in fewer boats searching for people in distress — with no rescue vessels sometimes operating in the central Mediterranean Sea.
The language used by some governments to refer to asylum-seekers has also been shifting in recent months. [Shifting to what it is supposed to be!—ed]
Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, who also serves as interior minister and who is a member of an anti-immigration populist party, has railed against “fake refugees.”

question markWhat do you do?  Pay attention to the language of the Leftwing Open Borders agitators and attempt at every opportunity to counter it.  That means if you see a local news story using the word ‘refugee’ loosely attempt to correct it either with a letter-to-the-editor or call the reporter.
Likewise when you see a dumb elected official showing their ignorance about the word ‘refugee’ try to set him/her straight!
Don’t let your friends and acquaintances get away with loose language on the issue of refugees either!
