I got up this morning planning to write another serious Community organizing lesson in my on-going serieson how to take back, or save (if it’s not lost yet), your local community from the Socialists’ agenda.
My plan was to write about getting involved with local elections, but that can wait because I opened “Saturday funnies” from reader Paul, a friend who collects truisms, and laughed.
If you have never read Saul Alinsky’s ‘Rules for Radicals,‘ it is a must because you can adapt and use the Lefts’ tactics against them.
I’ve been writing about Obama’s teacher and inspiration, Alinsky, since my earliest days at Refugee Resettlement Watch back in 2008, see here.
When first encountering Alinsky most people are put-off by his dedication page which reads:
Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins— or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer
Don’t let that deter you. To fight back effectively, you really need to read the book!
He wasn’t able to completely escape Dowd’s psychoanalysis, but he sent a message that clearly stated that no one was to make fun of him and that is because he knew that “ridicule” could destroy someone’s political ambitions faster than just about anything!
So that brings me to Alinsky Rule #5, one of his best. It is non-violent and powerful because Leftists have NO sense of humor.
“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.”
I am reminded of when Obama first came on the political scene and the very Leftwing writer at the New York Times, Maureen Dowd, made fun of his ears.
He went ballistic and attempted to cut off that avenue for ridicule immediately and never had much to do with herafter that.
In her October 21 [2006] New York Times column (subscription required), Maureen Dowd wrote that potential Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama (IL) is “intriguingly imperfect,” citing as one example the fact that “[h]is ears stick out.”
Enough of that; you get my drift. Here are a few funnies from Paul. I don’t know where they came from, so I hope I’m not publishing someone’s hard work without attribution, but usually such memes are fair-game for dissemination.
If you are creating your own local blog or website as I suggested in last week’s lesson, it is imperative that you include humor!
Remember that when you are working against local and state Democrat candidates in the next election, ridicule is a powerful weapon.

Washington isn’t going to save you and as excited as we are to hear what President Trump has in mind when he speaks at CPAC later today, you know your energy must be focused on your local community and to some degree at your state level.
There is not much hope in some Blue states, but it was Republican state legislatures that are really to blame for the great 2020 Election Steal as they sat by and let Democrat governors set the rules and run their elections.
The Left has been for decades and decades working to control governments at the local level, and you must now work there to try to catch up and push them back. I know in some cities that is just about hopeless, so your choice there is to leave or stay and at least be a thorn in the side of your Democrat Socialist local leadership.

In Part 1, I talked about getting your facts on whatever issues you plan to tackle. I used refugee resettlement as an example, and in Part 2 the focus was on finding others to help and support your efforts.
In this one, Part 3, I’m nagging as I have been for over a decade and begging you to set up your own local or state website or blog. Your local paper is probably a leftwing rag even if you live in a red county!
You need to become the alternate news source!
Yes, it is great to network on Facebook, but you can’t count on how long that will last. And, you really can’t offer detailed information there or maintain an archive for new people as time goes on.
Make your conservative website a general one about your city or county, or choose a specific issue that is plaguing your area.
It is no use if you have gathered factual information and then have no way to get it out beyond your little group!
The easiest place I found initially to set up a blog was at WordPress.com, but as you know they deplatformed RRW in 2019 without notice.
I did have to find a professional to help me find a new host and to recover RRW and set up ‘Frauds and Crooks.’
If you simply think this is way beyond your abilities (I assure you it isn’t), then at least try to get letters and opinion pieces posted in your local paper. Keep it toned down with the idea of getting nuggets of factual information out to the public without getting yourself banned.
If you are trying to educate the community on the refugee program (your fear that your area will be flooded by Biden/Harris migrants), a good message is to simply raise the concern about your own local poor and suffering people—the jobless, the homeless, veterans and so forth. America hasn’t run out of poor people yet.
Another option for garnering local media attention is to attend (assuming the meetings are open in the age of COVID) local city or county commissioner meetings and be available to the press there.
If they have a public comment period, using the refugee issue as an example, ask your elected body if they plan to encourage more refugee resettlement in their jurisdiction and remind them that you have suffering Americans to care for first.
Don’t let them Alinsky you!
Assuming you have gathered a small group of likeminded patriots as I suggested in Part 2, take turns attending meetings, or take turns speaking. If only one of you becomes identified as the ring leader, the Left will pull an Alinsky on you.
They will try to take that one person down with personal attacks etc. as a way of bringing you all down.
Of course it is commonsense, but be very courteous to the print and/or TV reporter whose beat is local government, after all, your goal is to get your information out through the media filter and it will do you no good to antagonize the reporter when you are just getting started.
Ask yourself every day: What work have I done today to save us all from the Socialists’ war on my community and to help Make America Great Again?
With the Democrats in complete control of Washington, DC, your work must now center on local organizing against policies coming down from on high, and honestly your energy should have been focused there for the last couple of decades as you know the hard core Leftists long ago set their sights on winning mayoral races and county government contests.
YOU can do what Obama taught the Left to do!
Because my request from readers came in response to a post about what one could do nowthat Biden/Harris are opening our borders and planning to admit 62,500 third world refugees, many from countries that hate us, by September 30th, I focused my first in the series post on the Refugee Admissions Program.
All of the information I am giving you is commonsense. I just hope by saying it it will inspire you to do it!
That first commonsense lesson instructed those of you who want to fight back to get your facts first. That applies to whatever issue you want to pursue locally.
By the way, one really appealing issue is to get involved in ensuring election integrity at your local election board. Or, maybe it is fighting for the Second Amendment like these folks did!
Getting ready for Chairman Joe’s refugees in Montana (your state too!)
Here is news from Missoula, Montana I will use as a case study where the refugee industry, that only got a foothold in the state a few years ago (see my extensive Montana archive at RRW), is gearing up for new arrivals.
An international group [IRC works around the world and works closely with the UN that picks the refugees–ed] helping refugees resettle in Missoula plans to expand its operations. The announcement came after news that President Joe Biden is significantly increasing the number of refugees that the U.S. allows into the country.

She [IRC staffer in Missoula] said Missoula’s IRC office currently has four full-time staff members, plus some part-time help and a few workers from programs like AmeriCorps. It is also looking to add five new full-time staff members to start. The group has resettled more than 370 people in Montana since 2016.
This could be happening where you live! Have you checked the maps I provided?
I assume you have done some homework since last week and figured out if your community/city/county is a resettlement site and who is responsible for their placement in your area.
The next step is to find kindred spirits, fellow patriots, at both the grassroots level and among local elected officials.
If possible, you need to have a friend or two on whatever your elected governing body is.
And, as for like-minded fellow citizens, find a few, both to help do the work and to give you a boost in spirits, as things are going to get rough. Do not throw up your hands if you can’t find more than a couple of people who are as concerned as you and willing to fight.
It doesn’t take dozens, it only takes a few who don’t care about the abuse you will likely receive.
I’ll use Missoula as an example. That story above aired this past week. Folks there are already doing this I hope, but what must happen is that there must be a media explosion against the idea of expanding the IRC’s office (by the way, the IRC is headquartered in New York City).
Hey, and this doesn’t just apply to Missoula, all across the state there should be attention brought to the Missoula resettlement because once they get established they will be targeting other locations in Montana especially if the idea of a Chinese meatpacking plant sees the light of day again.
Letters to the editor, and especially social media outrage should first focus on a message that some rich people from NYC want to change Montana while Montana has many Americans out of work and struggling to survive the pandemic.
Montana surely has not run out of poor people!
Blast local elected officials who will promptly tell you they can’t stop the federal government, so what, make them uncomfortable.
Also, the Biden Administration is getting rid of extreme vetting of refugees and has opened up resettlement from all Muslim majority countries, so there remains a potential for terrorists and criminals of all stripes to get in through the program.
And, don’t forget the health issues posed by refugees. They will tell you that refugees are screened for all sorts of health problems but I assure you they are getting in with latent TB and HIV and who knows what else. The cost of their medical care falls on you.
So, this week, for whatever issue around which you plan to organize locally, find like-minded citizens and elected officials to network with, to share information and to provide support.
And, if you see some news item, like the one in Missoula, be ready to speak up boldly and fearlessly. They will call you names and try to intimidate you, but do not fear their hateful words.
Ask yourself every day: What work have I done today to save us all from the Socialists’ war on my community and to help Make America Great Again?

In a post at Refugee Resettlement Watch recently I asked if readers wanted some help getting started with a local political campaign to, let’s just say, ‘educate’ your communities about the US Refugee Admissions Program.
This is information you will need as the Biden/Harris administration is threatening to bring in more refugees in a year than have been admitted in nearly 30 years. Congress isn’t going to save you from the upheaval, nor is your governor.
And, frankly you can’t count on any conservative or immigration restriction ‘think tank’ operating in Washington, DC either!
I told readers in response to my post that I would prepare a tutorial of sorts on how to begin.
You did great! He did win the election! But, alas, there is a usurper in the White House putting cornball cardboard hearts on the White House lawn today!
Here is what I am going to do. I am going to try to keep it simple and give readers weekly commonsense tips. This tutorial post will be linked in my sidebar at both blogs and I will add to it weekly. It will be up to you to come to either of my bogs to see what is new.
If he can do it, so can you!
If I try to explain how to ‘community organize’ all at one time, not only will you be overwhelmed, but my head will explode trying to write it all at once.
What I plan to describe can be applied to any issue you decide to undertake, but here is the basic idea—YOU MUST ACT LOCALLY!
I know it is fun to think and talk about national big issues and politicians at the top of the pyramid, but resist that temptation.
For example, shut up right now about who could possibly be a White House candidate in 2024 because when you spend precious time doing that, it might be fun, but you don’t accomplish anything!
Basically all you are doing is hankering for someone to save you, to save you from having to work hard to save us.
How has the Left taken over almost everything in some states as they now work on the states they haven’t captured yet. They work locally.
I know it can be boring and just plain drudgery, but local is where you must begin.
It is winter, we are shut-in in many cases and not just because of the weather, but also due to the hysteria surrounding the Chinese virus.
Okay here we go with Lesson 1:
Get your facts by doing your homework!
This is the perfect time to do the most important and time-consuming step in any effort to act locally no matter what the issue.
Discipline yourselves! Make time every day to do your research. On refugees for example, see my Knowledge is Power category.Or, search your state by name at RRW.
Search the internet, find out what has been happening in your state over the last couple of decades on the issue. Call some government agencies. Many states have a state refugee coordinator for example and politely get information from them about what is happening in your state.
Do not get adversarial with any government agency official, elected official or other citizens from whom you are seeking information. If you do, that is just dumb. There may be time for that later, but not right away!
Oh and did I say: Learn the facts.
For example, you will never get anywhere if you spout off-about the southern border when you are trying to organize against the resettlement of refugees who are chosen by the UN and flown into the country to be distributed by one of the nine federal resettlement contractors.
If you want to organize against illegal aliens invading, that is fine and dandy, but don’t mix the two issues or you will be completely dismissed by the much more highly-informed advocates for open borders.
Enough said, time to go to work learning the facts about the issue around which you are organizing.
I hope by now you have added Gateway Pundit to your daily reading rounds. I really don’t need to be re-writing what Jim Hoft and his investigators are saying, but this postfascinated me.

On Wednesday morning, November 4th President Trump was ahead of Joe Biden in the swing state of Michigan by over 100,000 votes.
This appeared to be another solid win for President Trump in a swing state he won in 2016. The ballot counting in Detroit, Michigan on election night took place at the TCF Center, formerly known as Cobo Hall.
Then late at night, a string of suspicious events changed the momentum for the Trump Team. GOP observers later testified that at 3:30 AM in the morning vehicles drove into the TCF Center and delivered fraudulent ballots for Joe Biden.
If the great Election Steal of 2020 is to be solved, it will be by independent journalists and bloggers like Gateway Pundit.
Changing the subject…
I have been writing at Refugee Resettlement Watch since July of 2007 except for a few months after the speech police got me deplatformed, but I think I have done all I can do for you who live in communities that are refugee resettlement sites, or soon will be.
This morning I spent all of my writing time on this post.
You must organize locally to save your communities from those who are changing your towns and cities politically, culturally, demographically.
Trump can’t save you (us)! Although if he returns to political life the best thing he could do would be to create America First grassroots chapters in every county in America with a first order of business straightening out the local board of elections!
Your governors are mostly useless as they are in cahoots with big business looking for cheap labor.
Your Members of Congress, even most Republicans, are in the pocket of the Chamber of Commerce and they are scared to death of being labelled racists for opposing the “good” people, the phony humanitarians, in charge of the refugee agencies.
You might have some hope with your state legislators, but it is now up to you to find out what is happening locally, get involved, speak up, get organized and maybe even run for local political office. Yes, hard and boring work.
It is more fun and might make us feel good to yak about tyranny and unfairness among ourselves, but it is a waste of time.
And, so what if you are well-read on the cutting issues of the day and have tens of thousands of Twitter or Facebook followers—it will not stop the Socialist Democrat juggernaut working incrementally to control your local community or state.
Remember Obama’s community organizing! They have been working for decades at that level and you have a lot of catching up to do.
