Media Matters Does What They Think is Major Hit Piece on Delaware Senate Candidate

But, their hysterical, vitriolic piece is a treasure trove of information that many of you will find useful.

Republican Senate Candidate Lauren Witzke wants a MORATORIUM on immigration to America!

Perhaps the most valuable reason for you to read their screed against the remarkable Lauren Witzke is so you know where you might find information on who the Hard Left/Marxists hate the most.

It looks like the news site VDARE is at the top of their list.

Someone asked me yesterday about why anyone would sign up for news alerts from the likes of CAIR (for example) or Media Matters, and of course it is because you must know about the enemy and what they are doing and saying.

So here is Media Matters going after a long-shot Senate candidate in Joe Biden’s Delaware linking her to their most feared boogeymen—white nationalists.

Since calling someone a “racist” is losing its power, the Left has settled on “white nationalist” as the next best epithet that could cause good/weak people (they hope) to run in horror.

GOP-backed Senate candidate Lauren Witzke frequently shares content from white nationalist site VDare

U.S. Senate candidate Lauren Witzke has frequently shared content from VDare, a leading white nationalist site that also pushes anti-Semitism. Witzke, a QAnon supporter who also has the backing of the Delaware Republican Party, has additionally twice thanked anti-Semitic commentator Faith Goldy for supporting her campaign.

Witzke is a Republican who is running a longshot campaign against Democratic incumbent Sen. Chris Coons. She has expressed support for QAnon and recently defended the conspiracy theory as “just a bunch of people who want pedophiles held accountable and from what I understand it’s absolutely harmless.” In reality, the conspiracy theory has been repeatedly linked to acts of violence and the FBI has labeled it a potential domestic terror threat.

This is what the Soros-backed Media Matters is most afraid of!

One of Witzke’s main policy plans is “a full 10-year moratorium on all immigration,” a proposal that VDaresupports.

VDare is a white nationalist site that heavily attacks immigrants. The Southern Poverty Law Center states that it “regularly publishes articles by prominent white nationalists, race scientists and anti-Semites.”

VDare publishes posts that carry such headlines as: “One Problem With These Hispanic Immigrants Is Their Disgusting Behavior,” “Indians Aren’t That Intelligent (On Average),” “Diversity Is Strength! It’s Also…Hispanic Immigrants Taking Over FBI’s Ten Most Wanted,” “America Does Not Need ANY Immigrants From Africa,” and “Roll Over, JIHAD—There’s Also HIJRA, Muslim Conquest By Immigration.”

Immigrants Wail and Moan: Won’t Be Able to Vote this Year

And, that is because the Chinese virus has slowed all government functions including those at the USCIS!

From Roll Call:

Citizenship delays may keep many immigrants from fall vote

Pandemic postpones naturalization interviews and ceremonies, adding to a backlog already worsened by budget woes

(I’m going to start my snips with these few paragraphs at the end of this story because it infuriated me!  If we have so much racial injustice and discrimination here, then just go home to India!)

Reeti Ghosh, an immigrant from India, started her naturalization process more than a year ago. She looked forward to finally voting, which she viewed as an opportunity to speak up about the racial injustice she witnessed in the country and even discriminatory behavior she felt locally, in her New Jersey community.

She was scheduled to take her civics test in April, but the pandemic canceled the appointment. Despite repeated attempts by her lawyer to reschedule, she has yet to hear back from USCIS with a new date.

“I really feel frustrated and honestly I can’t wait for this process to be done and over with,” she said. “It’s just the uncertainty. It is like a time bomb ticking. … You’re just really waiting for things to happen and just waiting there for no real reason.”

So boo-hoo, wait until the next election or go home and ‘fix’ India’s discrimination!

Now here is more of the story:

When Juliana Ximenes Coutinho Dias submitted her naturalization application last December, the possibility of finally becoming a U.S. citizen and getting to vote in the country she has called home for the past six years electrified the Brazil native.

But then the coronavirus pandemic hit. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which adjudicates immigration benefits and visas, shut down its field offices. It also postponed naturalization interviews and ceremonies, adding to a backlog worsened by budget woes and threatening to prevent hundreds of thousands of would-be citizens from registering in time to vote this November.

[….]

Hetlage [USCIS spokesman Dan Hetlage ]said the agency is on pace to naturalize approximately 600,000 new citizens by the end of the current fiscal year, which ends Sept. 30. But that’s nearly 30 percent lower than the previous year when 834,000 new citizens were sworn in, the highest number in 11 years, according to USCIS.

[….]

Naturalizations tend to spike in an election year and drop right after. Before the pandemic, the National Partnership of New Americans, a coalition of state, federal and local organizations that help new citizens register to vote, estimated that 860,000 people were scheduled to become U.S. citizens by the end of the year.

More than 23 million U.S. citizens who were born abroad could be part of the overall electorate this fall, according to a Pew Research Center analysis released earlier this year. That’s about 1 in 10 Americans, a record high.

In fact, the number of new citizens since the last election alone exceeds Trump’s margin of victory in Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Michigan combined, and has made up substantial portions of the growth in each state’s eligible voters since 2016.

See that I have a tag for the National Partnership for New Americans.

Biden’s Arab Plan: Bring in More and Protect them from Haters

That is the gist of the good part according to Arab-American observers, but his vague policy prescriptions for foreign policy relating to Arabs and Israel was too vague to get the full-throated support of Arab activists.

From The New Arab:

Biden’s ‘partnership plan’ receives mixed response from Arab-Americans

The US Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Saturday released a policy plan directed at Arab-Americans that encompasses a wide range of domestic and foreign policy pledges in order to win the community’s support.

The plan had a strong focus on civil and human rights, promising to combat discrimination and restore the country’s values as “a nation of immigrants”.

“Anti-Arab bigotry has been used in attempts to exclude, silence, and marginalise an entire community, and Biden believes it must be rejected whenever it surfaces,” the plan read, adding that Arab-Americans would be included across a future Biden administration.

Could we see Ms. Sarsour in a Biden administration?

Biden’s extensive range of domestic policy proposals received high praise from Arab-Americans, many of whom were staunch supporters of Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primary race.

The first pledge included the immediate rescindment of the so-called Muslim ban and the “immoral” family separation policy, as well as increasing the annual intake of refugees to 125,000.

I reported earlier at Refugee Resettlement Watch that Joe Biden has pledged to increase refugee flow to surpass anything his former boss ever managed to do.

The New Arab continues….

A key emphasis of Biden’s plan included combatting discrimination experienced by Arab-Americans in relation to policing, surveillance and counter-terrorism programmes.

[….]

It also pledged to protect the community from the rising threat of far-right violence and prioritise prosecution and thorough documentation of hate crimes.

Oopsy!  But when he talks in vague terms about the Israel-Palestine issue, Arabs are not so happy.

Omar Shakir, Israel-Palestine director for Human Rights Watch, tweeted: “How hard is it to say equal rights? So long as Joe Biden & Kamala Harris [won’t] say that Palestinians deserve same basic rights as all other [people], no-one should be under illusion that they’ll change decades-long ugly status quo. They’re out of touch [with] their party & reality on ground.”

The Lincoln Project (aka Grifter Project) Out to Destroy Trump’s Friends in the Senate

“The stated goal from the beginning was to defeat Trump and Trumpism at the ballot box and to call out his enablers.”

(Reed Galen, of the Lincoln Project doesn’t just hate Trump, he hates you, his voters.)

Surely you’ve seen their anti-Trump ads and maybe figured they were just a bunch of Dems.  Well, they aren’t, they are disgruntled supposed Republicans out to destroy Trump (and Trumpism!) and are being led by Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway’s hubby George Conway among others.

The Dems dream team: Steve Schmidt, from left, John Weaver, Rick Wilson and George Conway. Weaver worked for John McCain.  https://nypost.com/2020/07/21/lincoln-project-founders-have-ties-to-russia-tax-troubles-docs/

It isn’t just Trump they are after, but are amassing millions of bucks (surely from Dems) to buy ads against prominent Republicans.

It is kind of disgusting that they call themselves the Lincoln Project (Lincoln was a Republican), but according to the New York Post, NRO has renamed the PAC—the Grifter Project.

Here is what The Hill reported today:

Lincoln Project expands GOP target list, winning Trump ire

The former GOP operatives behind The Lincoln Project are expanding their list of Republican targets, infuriating allies of President Trump’s and national Republicans scrambling to preserve the GOP majority in the Senate.

In addition to a relentless negative ad campaign against Trump, the group has so far spent more than $1.3 million attacking Sen. Susan Collins (Maine), who is among the most vulnerable GOP senators up for reelection. That’s by far the most they’ve spent on any Senate candidate.

Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings reveal The Lincoln Project has also targeted more than a half-dozen other Republicans up for reelection in 2020, including Sens. Cory Gardner (Colo), Martha McSally (Ariz.), Lindsey Graham (S.C.), Thom Tillis (N.C.), Joni Ernst (Iowa), John Cornyn (Texas) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.).

The group is running ads in support of Democratic Senate candidate Steve Bullock in Montana and independent Al Gross in Alaska, who are seeking to unseat Sens. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) and Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska), respectively.

Biden Republicans!

Reed Galen, a strategist for the group, told The Hill that “the Senate map has expanded” and that off-cycle Senate Republicans “shouldn’t believe their day won’t come.” The Lincoln Project has invested very small amounts in ads going after Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Ted Cruz (R-Texas), James Inhofe (R-Okla.) and Mike Rounds (R-S.D.).

[….]

The Lincoln Project is taking heat from Republicans for backing challengers to blue-state GOP senators and moderates, such as Collins, who voted against Trump’s efforts to repeal ObamaCare. Galen defended the attacks, saying they’ll target anyone who they believe has inadequately fought back against Trump.

“The stated goal from the beginning was to defeat Trump and Trumpism at the ballot box and to call out his enablers,” Galen said.

“These senators we’ve gone after are not conservative Republicans in any classical sense of those words … they should have T’s behind their names, not R’s.”

The group’s senior members were well-known Washington Republicans before they turned to electing Democrats. The team includes lawyer George Conway, the husband of White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway, as well as veteran GOP operatives and strategists Rick Wilson, Steve Schmidt and John Weaver.

Republicans working to reelect Trump and maintain the majority in the Senate are hitting back, alleging that the former GOP operatives are “grifters” who have taken up electing Democrats because they lost their cushy establishment jobs when Trump was elected.

More here!

How is that for sickening!

Makes you wonder if they were Dems all along (while ‘advising’ the likes of John McCain) to assure that Rs were defeated.

I guess I need a new category for posts like this one—how about political rats?

Biden Kisses Up To Muslim Political Activists; Wants More Islam Taught in Public Schools

I know it is an understatement, but this election matters like no other.

And, let me ask at the outset, why are so many of you pushing for schools to re-open? If you are truly a conservative, get your kids the hell out of there and use this opportunity (the COVID panic) to launch your own homeschool!

Sarsour can’t wait to pressure a Biden administration!

Before I give you a few snips about what the Dems’ presidential candidate Joe Biden said, perhaps the last few lines of the story are most telling.

Here is what Emgage Action conference attendee Linda Sarsour said of Biden according to The Christian Post:

“I choose Biden. But I choose him as my opponent in the White House,” Sarsour added. “I want him to defeat Trump so we can mobilize our movements to hold him accountable and push him to do and be better. We can’t do that with Trump.”

Joe Biden wants Islam taught more in schools, decries ‘rise in Islamophobia’

Democrat presidential hopeful Joe Biden said Monday that he wants schools in the U.S. to teach more about Islam and claimed that there is an “unconscionable rise in Islamophobia” under the Trump administration.

“I wish we taught more in our schools about the Islamic faith,” Biden, a Catholic, said during his video remarks played at the “Million Muslim Votes” summit organized by the Muslim American political action committee Emgage Action.

“I wish we talked about all the great confessional faiths. [Islam is] one of the great confessional faiths. What people don’t realize is … we all come from the same root here, in terms of our fundamental basic beliefs. I just want to thank you for giving me the opportunity for being engaged, for committing to action this November.”

Emgage Action boasts of being the “political home for Muslim Americans” and endorsed Biden in April after initial endorsing Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in the Democratic presidential primary.

“Donald Trump has fanned the flames of hate in this country, across the board, through his words, his policies, his appointments, his deeds and he continues to fan those flames,” the 77-year-old Biden, who served as vice president under former President Barack Obama, said. “Under this administration, we have seen an unconscionable rise in Islamophobia, including kids being bullied at school and hate crimes in our communities.”

[….]

Despite calling out administration officials he accused of being Islamophobic, Biden mentioned nothing in his speech about confronting the presence of radical Islamic extremist groups that are responsible for the killing of thousands around the world.

Biden praised Emgage Action for its effort in getting 1 million Muslim voters to show up to vote in November.

[….]

He went on to say that “this is the most important election in modern American history.”

[….]

Biden vowed to “end the Muslim ban on day one.” Biden also vowed to work with Congress to pass hate crime legislation and legislation to end racial and religious profiling by federal law enforcement agencies.

[….]

Biden’s comments on wanting to see more Islam taught in public schools come as many public school districts around the country already include units on Islam in high school and, in some cases, middle school social studies class.

[….]

“Biden has a lot of work to do to win the hearts of young Muslim Americans who were core to Bernie’s campaign,” Sarsour wrote in a Twitter thread. “They are anti-war, pro-Palestinian, pro-Abolition of ICE & support defunding of police. They care about Rohingya, Uighur Muslims, Kashmir, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen & Syria.”

“I choose Biden. But I choose him as my opponent in the White House,” Sarsour added. “I want him to defeat Trump so we can mobilize our movements to hold him accountable and push him to do and be better. We can’t do that with Trump.”

There is much more, including the fact that Rep. Ilhan Omar was there (not a surprise).
