Dems Can Dish it Out, but They Can’t Take It!

Violent language for me, but not for thee!

Jordan Davidson writing at the Federalist lists some of the many occasions over the last few years when leading Democrats used language to incite unrest among their followers.

We are all aware of the massive, really shameful, double standard when it comes to the media and their favored political pals, but honestly it is this double standard and its blatant unfairness that will fuel further unrest.

10 Times Democrats Urged Violence Against Trump And His Supporters

While Democratic politicians and the corporate media blamed President Donald Trump for the mob riot at the Capitol on Wednesday, saying his rhetoric incited violence, many of these same lawmakers and bureaucrats have for years called for violence and physical action against those who believe differently than they do.

“Hate to break it to you but if Trump had won, there would have been violence on Wednesday, and it most certainly would have been worse. How do I know? Because Democrats have been endorsing violence as a political tactic throughout the Trump Administration,” wrote Grabien founder Tom Elliott on Twitter.

[….]

In 2018, Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu of California said on MSNBC that if Trump fired special counsel Robert Mueller, there would be “widespread civil unrest” as people would “take to the streets.”

Similarly, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper agreed that if Trump fired Mueller, it would “set off a firestorm not only on the Hill but also in the streets.”

[….]

Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged a group of “liberal activists,” to fight back, a sentiment that was met with applause and laughter.

“Michelle [Obama] always says, ‘When they go low, we go high,’” Holder began. “No. No. When they go low, we kick them.”

[….]

More recently, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said that, in politics, “when you’re in the arena, you have to be ready to take a punch, and you have to be ready to throw a punch … for the children.”

I’m sorry but I can’t help laughing at an image we likely will never see of Nancy in her heels running for cover on Wednesday.

Running from “ duck dynasty and the guy in the chewbacca bikini.”

Davidson wraps up….

Dem Senator Tester of Montana: “just punch him in the face!”

Sen. Jon Tester of Montana took it one step further, encouraging people to “punch Trump in the face.”

“I don’t think even in states where Donald Trump won big that it does you any good running away from [him],” Tester said.

“I think you need to go back and punch him in the face.I mean, the truth is, is this guy is bad for this country.”

There are more, click here.

And, never forget that these Democrat leaders NEVER spoke up against their supporters, those raging and burning through American cities this past summer.

I’m not condoning any violence, but is it any wonder that those who love the President and know he won the election in a landslide reacted as they did on January 6th?

Be sure you do everything you can to remind people of the “dangerous rhetoric” of the Left!

But, have fun with it!  They cannot tolerate ridicule, the most powerful political weapon according to Obama’s idol Saul Alinsky.   They can dish it, but they can’t take it!

The Tweet Seen Around the World!

I know, I know, there is so much that needs to be said about Washington, DC on January 6th, 2021, that I don’t know where to begin.  Like you, I have been reading as much as I can.

On a serious note, I recommend my friend Leo Hohmann’s piece yesterday, as I am seeing everywhere, January 6th may indeed be the day the Republican Party died:

January 6, 2021: The day our faith [in Republicanism] was breached

And, James O’Keefe had some words of wisdom that hopefully address the deep sadness many of us feel:

So what do we do now? By James O’Keefe

I know this tweet (below) isn’t funny, but it made me laugh out loud and speaks volumes about the failure of our stuffed-shirt so-called leaders’ failure to secure the Capitol.

Heads are already rolling as we learned late yesterday that the chiefs of security and police at the Capitol are resigning or being fired.

As they all (Nancy, Mitch and our brave leaders) scurried into hiding….

Update!  In another move to censor, it appears that Twitter isn’t letting the photo appear now.  So here it is again:

We will be eagerly looking for the thorough investigation into who was responsible for this catastrophic security failure, but I suspect the media will spend most of its time trying to identify the Trump supporters who took the Capitol building.

I am guessing there were some Leftist agitators among them, but we also have to anticipate that many of those who swarmed through the building are in fact Trump loyalists.  The Left has an extreme fringe, but frankly so does the Right.

As I mentioned briefly yesterday, there were hundreds of thousands of decent peaceful patriotic Americans stretched the full length of Washington—from the White House to the Capitol building—but these few will be the face of the MAGA movement in the mainstream media likely forever.  So get used to it and don’t give up on America First!

I’m trying to look at this from the standpoint of the law breakers. These people have had it with the media and mealy-mouthed politicians especially those supposedly on their side in the Republican Party.  They have been demeaned for years, cooped up by COVID and knew that a bunch of politicians spouting hot air on the House and Senate floors was going to go nowhere to show the world the dreadful unfairness of the 2020 Election Steal.

Those breaking the law to storm the Capitol included Ashli Babbitt who lost her life that day.

Was it all planned in advance by dark forces on one side or the other, hopefully we will find out someday.

In the meantime, it appears that the Horned man in a photo which will be seen in history books for generations is being widely identified as Jake Angeli, a Trump supporter and QAnon promoter.

Search his name and you will find dozens of stories about him.  Here is just one.  I have to admit that I never really understood what QAnon is….

From Heavy:

Jake Angeli, the ‘Q Shaman:’ 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Jake Angeli, a well-known QAnon influencer known as the “Q Shaman,” was a central figure in the siege on the Capitol yesterday, making his way into memes and photos with his conspicuous horned helmet.

Angeli took photos behind the Senate dais and was seen walking around the Capitol building with a bullhorn, wearing his signature hat and red, white and blue face paint.

He has also held a leading role at far-right rallies in Phoenix, Arizona, according to The Arizona Republic. He told the newspaper that QAnon validated beliefs he has held since about 2016.

There is much more, keep reading.  As for his ‘acting’ career, that is discussed here as well.

I know, this could all be b.s. too, but many news outlets are reporting that he was at pro-Trump events in the past.

The shot heard around the world…

I should be condemning all of what happened at the siege of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, but somehow I can’t and I keep thinking of Lexington and Concord and whether those, now celebrated patriots who were looked upon as a bunch of ragtag misfit militiamen at the time, are not so different from the country class members of MAGA we saw running through the marbled halls where only important ruling class people are ever permitted to be.

People can only take so much and they clearly see that even their right to a fair election has been taken from them.

Tell me what you think! Send me stories that support what you think happened, or is happening.

So far, TWELVE US Senators Have Announced They Will Object to 2020 Presidential Election Results

Your prayers are being answered!

Frankly I didn’t think it was possible to find this many brave Senators willing to buck the Democrats and their own Republican leadership.  You might think it shouldn’t be so hard to buck Mitch McConnell in light of the glaring election steal, but these Senators (a few of them newly elected) will see that McConnell will find ways large and small to retaliate against them in the coming year(s).

For us, who believe in America and the Constitution that guides us, these twelve, so far, are the leaders of America first.

The rebels, the “faction” as Politico calls them include in addition to Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri who announced days earlier, are as follows:

The new faction of GOP lawmakers includes Sens. Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.), Mike Braun (Ind.), Cruz (Texas), Steve Daines (Mont.), Ron Johnson (Wis.), John Kennedy (La.) and James Lankford (Okla.), as well as Sen.-elects Bill Hagerty (Tenn.), Cynthia Lummis (Wyo.), Roger Marshall (Kan.) and Tommy Tuberville (Ala.).

If one of these is your Senator, thank him or her.

If your Senator is one of those Republicans who have already said they are with McConnell remember them!

Here The Hill tells us that Senator Mitt Romney of Utah is lashing out against Hawley, Cruz et al.

If nothing else comes out of January 6th, we are going to have a very clear idea of who is for and who is against the MAGA movement.  Mitch wanted to avoid that, but it looks like it is too late!

Romney: Plan to challenge election ‘egregious ploy’ that ‘dangerously threatens’ country

“Romney also called out Trump, who has urged his supporters to come to Washington, D.C., on January 6, warning that the strategy could “lead to disruption, and worse.” ” (what a wimp!)

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Saturday offered blistering criticism of a plan by at least 12 Republican senators to challenge the results of the election next week, warning that they “imperil” public trust.

“The egregious ploy to reject electors may enhance the political ambition of some, but dangerously threatens our Democratic Republic. The congressional power to reject electors is reserved for the most extreme and unusual circumstances. These are far from it,” Romney said in a statement.

Romney had previously told reporters Friday that objecting during Wednesday’s joint session, where Congress will formally count the Electoral College vote, would help “spread the false rumor that somehow the election was stolen.”

Romney says the courts have already decided that there was no election fraud!

“My fellow Senator Ted Cruz and the co-signers of his statement argue that rejection of electors or an election audit directed by Congress would restore trust in the election. Nonsense. … Members of Congress who would substitute their own partisan judgement for that of the courts do not enhance public trust, they imperil it,” Romney added.

[….]

Romney, the only GOP senator who voted for one of the articles of impeachment against Trump last year, is the latest GOP senator to formally weigh in after Cruz and 10 other GOP senators, or senators-elect, announced that they would support challenging the election results.

Come on Alaskans! How can you elect this _____?

Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) formally announced on Saturday that they would vote against any attempt to challenge the election results on Wednesday.

[….]

Toomey said the “evidence is overwhelming that Joe Biden won this election.”

[….]

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) previously urged Republican senators to not join an effort by House conservatives to object, warning that it would only force a politically tough vote that won’t change the outcome of the election.

We will have a list!

By “politically tough vote” he means that the Republicans can’t win it with defectors like Toomey, Murkowski and himself who would side with the Dems, but because we, the upwards of 80 million Trump voters, will know who is willing to fight for us and who isn’t.

In addition to those I just mentioned who want Biden installed in the White House, we previously mentioned South Dakota’s John Thune.

And how on earth did you Nebraskans elect Ben Sasse, a Never Trumper from the very beginning?

Which side is your Republican Senator on? Where are you: Lindsey Graham? Marco Rubio? Rick Scott? Rand Paul? Mike Lee? Chuck Grassley? Susan Collins? Tom Cotton? Tim Scott? Shelley Moore Capito?

Some media outlets report that 140 or so House Members will object and when I see a list I’ll post it.

Tomorrow, Monday morning, begin calling all of your Senators and House Members  and tell them (Democrat or Republican) what you think.

Stop the Steal’s website has all of the contact information for your elected officials in Congress.

Dementia Joe Strikes Again! “President-elect Harris”

I wrote a serious post over at Refugee Resettlement Watch today about how refugees in Arizona aren’t working and about how the Republican governor there is on record saying he “welcomes” more impoverished third worlders for the state, so thought I would just post a laugh here.

Well, it would be funny if it weren’t so pathetic.

Over 80 million people, we are led to believe, want this mentally impaired man as their leader, or do they all know it will be President Harris before too long?

I imagine Kamala Harris behind the scenes (with her bizarre laugh) saying “Keep it up Joe!”

Ready for this for four years?

Why Would Blue State Governors Use Draconian Lockdowns that DO NOT Work to Slow the Chinese Virus?

Because they are dupes of those Socialist/Communist strategists who are working to destroy Capitalism and make everyone dependent on the government.

COVID-19 is a dream come true for modern day Commies who have dreamed of this day since Cloward and Piven wrote their thesis in the 1960s.

The ruling class! We need a good crisis to demoralize America, redistribute the wealth.

Here is one more of many stories about how California, with the most Chinese virus cases even as it is the most locked down state in the nation, is suffering.

To those of us looking on it makes no sense that Governor Newsom would want to inflict such economic misery on the people of California, unless….

…..Newsom and other Democrat governors want the suffering to force Americans to move toward Socialism/Communism.

From The Lid:

California COVID Cases Surge- Proving Lockdowns Don’t Work

If you still live in California, you probably deserve a medal. Living under the tyrannical rule of Newsom has to hurt. He keeps on adding to his COVID rules, but the only thing the rules accomplish is to prove that lockdowns don’t work. The economy sinks while the CoronaVirus cases surge.

[….]

Stephen Moore explains that the lockdowns don’t reduce deaths, and they hurt those who can least afford to be hurt:

Lockdowns are crushing the little guy. Even so, it is the Democrats who are pushing this anti-freedom agenda. Here are the 10 states listed by The New York Times with the strictest lockdown orders: California, Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Washington. What do they have in common? Democratic governors.

[….]

The states that have not locked down their economy have lower death rates than New York and New Jersey. The unemployment rate for service workers in these states has skyrocketed to as high as 10%. In contrast, the red states, such as Utah and Florida, that are still open for business have unemployment rates for service workers as low as 4%.

Be confused no longer, they have a STRATEGY

So if you have been confused about why these Democrat governors are behaving in a way that is clearly aimed at bringing down the US economy, don’t be confused.  The Democrat Party has been indoctrinated for decades in the Cloward-Piven Strategy—bring down Capitalism by creating a massive welfare state.

In 2009 I wrote about it at Refugee Resettlement Watch positing that the reason the Left wanted more impoverished refugees and immigrants was to add to the numbers of poor people who would demand more ‘services’ from an increasingly strained government.

Here is my post from 2009.  I know it is long but maybe it will help clear up any confusion you have right now about what appears to be just dumb decisions by dumb Dems.  No, this is a strategy!

Cloward-Piven Strategy: bring down Capitalism by flooding the welfare system

More on November 23rd:   Jim Simpson, an expert on the Cloward-Piven strategy has more today at the American Thinkerhere.

That is the basic goal involved in the Cloward-Piven strategy that most of us never heard of until Obama and the community organizers got to the White House.  I’ve been reading about it lately, thanks to RRW reader Paul, and it came to mind last night as I considered the fact that Somali refugees had flooded Maine primarily for the generous welfare system (more shortly).

This is just some background from David Horowitz’s Discover the Networks that I want to post so we can continue to build our ‘community destabilization’ category, and not lose the links.

Cloward is dead. Piven is still alive and in 2011 Piven (now 88) attempted to try to tell students at a Christian college that the Tea Party was RACIST. HotAir tells us what happened. https://hotair.com/archives/tina-korbe/2011/10/13/messiah-college-crowd-pushes-back-on-frances-fox-pivens-accusations-of-tea-party-racism/

Inspired by the August 1965 riots in the black district of Watts in Los Angeles (which erupted after police had used batons to subdue a black man suspected of drunk driving), Cloward and Piven published an article titled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty” in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation. Following its publication, The Nation sold an unprecedented 30,000 reprints. Activists were abuzz over the so-called “crisis strategy” or “Cloward-Piven Strategy,” as it came to be called. Many were eager to put it into effect.

In their 1966 article, Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor; that by providing a social safety net, the rich doused the fires of rebellion. Poor people can advance only when “the rest of society is afraid of them,” Cloward told The New York Times on September 27, 1970. Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation; poor people would rise in revolt; only then would “the rest of society” accept their demands.

The key to sparking this rebellion would be to expose the inadequacy of the welfare state. Cloward-Piven’s early promoters cited radical organizer Saul Alinsky as their inspiration. “Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules,” Alinsky wrote in his 1972 book Rules for Radicals. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judaeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system’s failure to “live up” to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist “rule book” with a socialist one.

You should take some time and read Cloward and Piven’s 1966 seminal work in the Nation magazine to fully understand the concept.  They (and their comrades today) want to enroll as many people as they can on public assistance, cause a crisis by overloading local governments, bring greater federal control and ultimately collapse Capitalism as the federal government takes greater control and brings about ultimately a guaranteed wage for all— a redistribution of wealth.

This is the opening paragraph of the Nation article:

[Update! The article is no longer available at The Nation, but a Leftwing publication reposted it here,at Common Dreams.]

How can the poor be organized to press for relief from poverty? How can a broad-based movement be developed and the current disarray of activist forces be halted? These questions confront, and confound, activists today. It is our purpose to advance a strategy which affords the basis for a convergence of civil rights organizations, militant anti-poverty groups and the poor. If this strategy were implemented, a political crisis would result that could lead to legislation for a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty.

My theory is that the “poor” of the 1960’s were, in subsequent decades, entering the middle class.  Thanks to Capitalism there weren’t enough of them to collapse the system and many other Americans have an  antipathy to living off the government and accepting welfare!   So community organizers need the immigrants and refugees who have become accustomed, in the case of refugees, to living off of the United Nations, to help swell the welfare rolls.  That is the only logical explanation for the Obama Administration continuing to resettle very high numbers of refugees right now (in a recession!) when there is little work for them—well that, and the desire on their part to create a magical borderless utopian world.

The Somalis who migrated to Maine are only too happy to comply, next!  Here it is.

So here we are, decades later, just where Cloward-Piven, Saul Alinsky, Barack Obama, AOC and Ilhan Omar wanted us to be—redistributing wealth by handing out welfare checks to most of America.

If Biden/Harris succeed in stealing the White House, the demented old man could finish us off by handing us over to the Communist Party of China.
