North Dakota has been roiled with refugee tensions over the years as I reported extensively at my other blog, Refugee Resettlement Watch.
I visited the state in 2016 to get a feeling for the situation there mostly a result of Minnesota Somalis spilling across the border into the state, but some refugees have been directly placed there by a Lutheran resettlement agency.
And, as you read this news, keep in the back of your mind that Biden will this month be making the decision on the refugee ceiling for the new fiscal year that begins on October first. Among the 125,000 he has so far indicated would be arriving, thousands of Somalis will be among them.
But, that isn’t all.
The refugee industry is pushing for the number to be 200,000. Those tens of thousands of Afghan evacuees beginning to arrive may end up being in addition to 200,000 from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East—all will be needy people looking for the generosity of the US taxpayer!
Manslaughter charge amended to Murder in Grand Forks shooting
We have enough criminals of our own. Why must we import more from Africa with the help of Lutheran do-gooders?
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Grand Forks Police have identified the victim of a weekend shooting as 28-year-old Megan Lea Gustafson.
The manslaughter charge originally filed against 26-year-old Ahmen Mohamed Abdullahi has been amended to Murder.Abdullahi is also charged with one count of unlawful possession of a firearm and theft of property.
Grand Forks Police say the shooting happened just after 1:30 Sunday morning at a home in the 1300 block of 8th Avenue North. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious man in the area, they knocked on an apartment door and talked to Megan Gustafson.
Officers walked away and shortly after, they heard an argument coming from inside the apartment.
Court documents say officers saw the door open; Gustafson was standing in the doorway with her back toward the street and Abdullahi was facing her.
Officers heard a single gunshot, heard Gustafson scream, and then saw her run into the lawn and fall to the ground.
Abdullahi walked out of the apartment holding a handgun, according to court documents. Officers were able to detain Abdullahi without incident.
Police say Gustafson had a gunshot wound in the chin/neck area.
They tried to save her, but she later died at Altru Hospital.
Court documents also say the handgun found at the scene was reported stolen from a vehicle in Grand Forks in September 2020. Abdullahi is prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm due to a felony terrorizing conviction in Grand Forks County in March 2021.

Just so you know that Minnesota isn’t the only place in America where refugee contractors and the US State Department salted a Somali population, Tennessee got them too!

To counter the ‘new American’ fluff stories I wanted to show that some of those migrants, supposedly simply “looking for a better life,” are actually getting a better life at great expense to us, both financially and culturally.
Lately I’ve been distracted by so much news involving political frauds and crooks, so it’s good to have a reminder of why this blog came into being.
Pair of Middle Tennessee Students Accused Of Stealing $114,000 From University
Two Middle Tennessee State University students have been charged with stealing more than $114,000 from the university.
Refugee poster boys: Mohamed Gure, Mohamed Osman. Almost all Somalis in America came as refugees, or they are the children of refugees. More like Gure and Osman will soon be on the way to Biden’s America.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced Wednesday that Mohamed Gure and Mohamed Osman were indicted by a Rutherford County grand jury for fraudulently obtaining student activity fee payments from the university over a three-year period.
The Tennessee comptroller’s office, which helped TBI with the investigation, said Gure and Osman stole $114,145 between November 2017 and November 2020.
Gure was charged with one count of theft over $60,000, one count of theft over $10,000, 30 counts of forgery and two counts of criminal simulation. Osman was charged with one count of theft over $60,000, 28 counts of forgery and two counts of criminal simulation.
The comptroller’s office said Gure and Osman were presidents of MTSU’s Somali Students Association when they submitted at least 85 false invoices for reimbursements totaling $82,200 of student activity fee funds. Many of the invoices were for payments to nonexistent vendors, the comptroller’s office said.

“MTSU should ensure its Student Organizations and Service Office carefully reviews supporting documentation before reimbursing student organizations,” Comptroller Jason Mumpower said in a statement. “Our investigators also noted several instances in which MTSU officials were not following their own guidance when processing reimbursements.”
Gure and Osman were arrested and booked Tuesday into the Rutherford County Jail. Gure’s bond was set at $60,000, and Osmon’s bond was set at $50,000.

I have to say that some of these ‘new Americans’ are clever scammers, but not quite clever enough this time!

For longtime readers of my other blog, Refugee Resettlement Watch, you know that beginning in the 1990’s the US State Department and its ‘religious’ charity contractors, specifically Lutheran and Catholic resettlement contractors, have been placing Somalis, many from Dadaab the big UN camp in Africa where Ilhan Omar previously resided, into the state of Minnesota.
Once the population grew, some Somalis placed elsewhere in the US migrated to Minnesota to be with their own kind of people.
The decision to place Somali ‘refugees’ into Minnesota had a lot to do with employers looking for cheap labor and for the fact that Minnesota had a generous welfare system.
That expanding Somali population is now having a political impact as many seek elected office.
When I traveled in the state in 2016, I realized that the rest of America had no clue about what was happening in a state where residents take pride in their kindheartedness — Minnesota nice—they all told me. I came home thinking that someone needed to make a documentary about the state and what was happening there.
Well here it is! Know that Biden/Harris have removed restrictions on Somali refugees, restrictions that President Trump had placed on their migration to America.

BTW, when I first started writing about Somali refugee criminals and terrorists, the US was not deporting any of them claiming it was not humane to send migrants home to hellhole countries. My! My! how times have changed!

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportation flight to Somalia — which faced objections from Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., due to fears about the potential spread of COVID-19 — included criminals with convictions for rape, murder and assault, the agency said in a letter to the congresswoman.
“This week, ICE removed 39 Somalia nationals, 36 of whom have criminal histories,” Acting ICE Director Tony Pham said in a letter to Omar. “These crimes include murder, rape, domestic violence, assault, sexual assault, crimes against children, drug trafficking, and conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization.”
He also included a list of case backgrounds that he said “should give you reason to applaud the good work ICE has done to protect the American people, including the people of the State of Minnesota.”

Maine Democrat Sara Gideon Killed Bills Outlawing Female Genital Mutilation
Maine Dems argued legislation was racist
Democratic Senate candidate Sara Gideon repeatedly killed bills to outlaw female genital mutilation during her tenure as the speaker of the Maine House of Representatives.
“The Democrats, especially the Speaker of the House Sara Gideon, did everything she could in her power to just kill this bill,” said a survivor of the horrific practice.
Gideon leveraged her leadership position in the Democrat-controlled legislature to kill two separate bills that would have criminalized the practice of severing the clitoris of infant girls and sewing their vaginas shut. Instead, the Democrat supported a different law that would have funnelled $150,000 to her political allies to educate Mainers about the practice instead of criminalizing it, according to a former state legislator who spearheaded the push to stop the mutilation.
Under Gideon’s leadership, Maine Democrats argued that the bill was racist toward the state’s large immigrant community from Somalia, a country where the practice is “nearly universal” according to the United Nations. The Democrats also argued that the practice rarely takes place in Maine and is already outlawed by existing federal and local laws.
Gideon’s efforts have helped make Maine one of only 12 states that have not banned female genital mutilation. Such a legacy threatens to complicate her cultivated image as a champion of women’s rights, one built on her consistent support for abortion access and the #MeToo movement. The image strategy has paid off, translating into hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations and outside money support from national pro-abortion groups. Gideon did not respond to a request for comment.
