Surely another Muslim honor killing.

We have been so preoccupied with Election Steal news so this story reminded me that there are still ‘new American’ criminals among us (one of the primary reason for launching ‘Frauds and Crooks’ in the first place) and that there are bloggers, like Creeping Sharia, still hard at work getting the news out.

The sickening story is from the New York Daily News from before Christmas.  Here at Creeping Sharia.

Readers should know that Creeping Sharia was shut down by WordPress.com just as I was at Refugee Resettlement Watch because the speech police, using dirty tricks, are out to silence voices they don’t like.

She was becoming more Westernized, more Americanized. She didn’t want to wear the hijab.

In other words, this was an Islamic honor killing.

 

A former Olympic boxer charged with the strangulation of his daughter — an activist for the rights of Muslim women — was arraigned on murder charges Tuesday and ordered held without bail, the Staten Island district attorney said.

Kabary Salem, 52, was extradited from Kuwait on Friday, ending a year-long manhunt that started shortly after his daughter, Ola Salem, 25, was found strangled in Bloomingdale Park, a 138-acre park on the South Shore of Staten Island, the morning of Oct. 24, 2019.

Salem fled the country, possibly spending time in Egypt, authorities said — and even tried to throw investigators off his trail by telling The New York Times his daughter had complained to him that she was being tailed by another car on the highway.

“I want to know what happened to her, what is the reason for that, but no one tells me,” he told the news outlet. “I am just waiting.

“She was a really good, beautiful girl.”

Ruslan Maratovich Asainov is not a “Brooklyn man” or a “New York man” as described by most media headlines. He is a Kazakh who got lucky and got into the US through one of many possible legal or illegal pathways including perhaps simply by marrying a US citizen.

He did not come for a better life.  He did not come to fulfill a dream. He is not grateful for the opportunity.
Now he is charged with material support for a terrorist organization (ISIS) and before a federal judge (Magistrate Judge Steve Gold) this past week refused to respond appropriately to the judge’s questions.
His attorney is quoted in the UK Daily Mail with this explanation:

After the trial, defense lawyer Susan Kellman clarified why her client didn’t want to answer the judge’s inquiries.

’He answers to a higher authority; He says his ruler is Allah,’ Kellman said.

You can usually count on the Daily Mail for politically incorrect bits of information that make American media mavens squirm.

It would be very helpful if the feds would tell us through which legal or illegal pathway perps like Asainov used to get in here and that way we might be able to determine which avenues need to be cut off!

Surely you have all seen this news, but as I started to pull my round-up together for last week (yes, I am late!), I realized I need to post this more prominently even if most of you have seen the latest installment of Ilhan’s exciting life.
And, I am posting it because she casually mentions that she followed Muslim law when she married hubby number one. 
This is how Sharia creep works! Many people will just say ‘well, okay.’  (See my post yesterday.)

The version of the story I’m using about Omar’s financial shenanigans is from the UK Daily Mail and I mention that because although this story was everywhere, the Daily Mail is often the first place you will read news deemed politically incorrect by the snooty and biased US media.

After reading my story yesterday about the Canadian doctor who murdered his wife when she wanted a divorce, a reader from Tennessee sent me news from just this week about how domestic violence is part and parcel of Islamic law.
This story is not from the Middle East or even from Muslim centers in states like Minnesota and Michigan.  It happened in Nashville.
The abused wife escaped and went to the police. (Hope she is now in a safe place!)

Two Canadian ISIS Brides Followed Sharia

Okay, okay, that is not a surprise, but what is a surprise is that CNN is reporting it and using the word “sharia.”  
If Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, or Frank Gaffney uttered the following words, cries of “Islamophobia” would be screamed from the roof tops by the likes of Linda Sarsour!
Ben Wedeman, in a CNN story this morning, reports of his interviews with two Canadian women who followed their men to Syria because of Islamic law.

Canadian women emerge from ISIS’s crumbling caliphate

The first woman quoted is Dura Ahmed, 28, originally from Toronto, Canada:

“Did you hear about the slaughter of Yezidis, of Yezidi women being enslaved?” I asked.
“When I came here, I heard. I haven’t seen one, but…” Her answer trailed off with a nervous laugh. “Well, having slaves is part of Sharia,” she finally ventured. “I believe in Sharia, wherever Sharia is. We must follow whoever is implementing the way, the law.”

 
The second woman is a 34-year-old from Alberta, Canada:

She, too, came to Syria at her husband’s bidding.
“He’s like, ‘it’s obligatory for you to come here. You have no choice, and as your husband I’m telling you to come here.’ And as a Muslim wife you have to obey, even though it was really hard for me to do it.” She takes a deep sigh. “I had to.”
Like Dura, she claims she knew nothing about ISIS or Syria before she made the journey here.

Not that it matters, but the woman from Alberta’s first husband (the one who insisted she come to Syria) was killed in the fighting and then she took another husband who also was killed in the fighting.

I shouldn’t get too excited that there could be a few truths sneaking into reports from the likes of CNN!
