United Nations Running Out of Money!

Starving the beast may be the best way to control it!

The Trump Administration has been signalling it would like to reassess the US commitment to the UN which amounts to 22% of the UN’s $5.4 billion annual budget.

UN Secretary General Guterres doesn’t look happy as Trump speaks. BTW, what is he doing with his fingers?

Before I continue, don’t miss my post at RRW this morning about the latest revelation about refugee fraud within the UN—all the more reason to stop funding the United Nations!

Oh, and while you are visiting RRW, be sure to see my extensive archive on socialist UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres who was previously the UN High Commissioner for Refugees so I followed his ‘career’ for years.

From CBS:

United Nations could run out of money in a few weeks, Secretary General warns

United Nations — The United Nations is running a deficit of $230 million, Secretary General Antonio Guterres said on Monday, and may run out of money by the end of October. In a letter intended for the 37,000 employees at the UN secretariat and obtained by CBS News’ Pamela Falk, Guterres said unspecified “additional stop-gap measures” would have to be taken to ensure salaries and entitlements are paid.

“Member States have paid only 70 percent of the total amount needed for our regular budget operations in 2019. This translates into a cash shortage of $230 million at the end of September. We run the risk of depleting our backup liquidity reserves by the end of the month,” he wrote.

Gasp! Cutting travel and meetings might be necessary to save them money! And, they might have to take measures to save energy!  Isn’t the leading global warming proponent in the world already taking all necessary measures to save energy?

To cut costs, Guterres mentioned postponing conferences and meetings and reducing services, while also restricting official travel to only essential activities and taking measures to save energy.

Although 129 States out of 193 have now paid their regular annual dues, the most recent being Syria, UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric told correspondents at the regular briefing in New York, others needed to pay “urgently and in full”.

[….]

Guterres had asked member states earlier this year to up contributions to the world body to head off cash flow problems, but they refused, a UN official told French news agency AFP on condition of anonymity.

The US is paying almost one quarter of the UN’s entire budget!

Not including what it pays for peacekeeping operations, the UN’s operating budget for 2018-2019 is close to $5.4 billion, with the United States contributing the largest share at 22 percent.

St. Cloud High School Riot: Students All One Race

Update!  I have been warned by Lisa Schwarz, News Director of the St. Cloud Times that I am not permitted to use their news story.

So to honor her request and to “avoid further action,”  I am removing the text I snipped from their story about the students involved in the recent Tech High riot.

Please visit the St. Cloud Times directly! (Link below)

(My original post begins here.)

Whew! That is a relief!  At least now there won’t be any reason for race hustlers like CAIR to get involved, right!

“Students of the same race.”  That is how police characterize the make-up of the gangs of fighting students we reported here on Thursday.  But thanks to a Minnesota law which allows names of those who committed felonies, who are aged 16 and 17, be made public, we now have a clearer idea of who exactly was involved in a brawl that brought 20 police officers to a school in a city that has seen years of tension created by the arrival of Somali refugee families.

No secret decoder ring needed—names tell us all we need to know!

(See my extensive St. Cloud file at Refugee Resettlement Watch, here. I first heard of Tech High Somali problems in this story from 2008. A few posts featuring St. Cloud are here at ‘Frauds and Crooks.‘)

St. Cloud’s new Tech High has only been open for a few weeks. The old Tech High was featured many times in posts at RRW over the years. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/?s=St.+Cloud+Tech+High

Here is the latest news from the St. Cloud Times (hat tip: John):

5 students charged with felonies, 14 with gross misdemeanors after Sept. 25 Tech fight

ST. CLOUD — Nineteen students involved in the Sept. 25 fight at Tech High School are facing criminal charges, according to St. Cloud Police Assistant Chief Jeff Oxton.

We have admitted to the US over 250,000 Afghans and Iraqis in the last decade, must we take more?

Today at Refugee Resettlement Watch I reported on a columnist at the Philadelphia Inquirer blasting the President and saying he is morally bankrupt for not being willing to take as refugees thousands more from those two countries.

What do you think?  We freed the Iraqis from a tyrant in a war that cost us enormous blood and treasure, so why are we obligated then to take thousands, tens of thousands! of nationals from those countries to live in America.

When is enough enough?

The war in Iraq ended in 2011!  Does our obligation continue for decades?

Trudy apparently thinks it does!

How about you?

Hurrah!  A new feature has been added to the newly reconstructed Refugee Resettlement Watch—e-mail subscriptions are now possible!

(By the way, I had gotten bored and discouraged writing every day about the Refugee Program, but after being dumped by WordPress.com because clearly they were being pressured to shut me down, I’m even more determined to continue writing here at RRW.)

Be sure to see the right hand sidebar which features other useful information.

For example, you can click on calendar dates and see what I’ve posted on previous days.

There is information on how to reach me and on donating (thanks to all who helped bring RRW  back from the dead with your generous donations!).

Archives going back to 2007 are available and categories are restored.

If you’ve been away for a few days you will see a list of recent posts and then a second list of ‘trending’ (most popular) posts.

And, for your convenience, you can click on the image of the little blue guy behind bars and jump over to my other blog ‘Frauds and Crooks’ to see what is new there!

I’ll leave this post here on the front page for a week or so. Please send it around via social media (see icons below).  I had over 5,000 subscribers when the Speech Police censored me, so it would be great to get some of those followers back!

Thanks as always for visiting RRW!

Three New Posts at Refugee Resettlement Watch

Editor:  Coming soon to RRW is the opportunity to subscribe, however in the meantime, I want my ‘Frauds and Crooks’ readers to know what new information is available at the blog the Speech Police thought they abolished back in late June.

Don’t miss this morning’s post with a list of local elected officials who signed a letter to the President asking for 95,000 refugees to be admitted to the US beginning in less than three weeks!  Click on the headline below to see if someone you know signed the propaganda stunt letter:

Elected Officials in over 360 Towns and Cities Tell Trump to Admit 95,000 Refugees Beginning October 1

Yesterday I reported this:

Tennessee Lawsuit is On Again as Thomas More Law Center Files New Motion

On Tuesday I reminded readers that the President has no legal requirement to admit any refugees if he so chooses:
