Three Month Review at Frauds and Crooks

I can hardly believe it’s been three months since I launched my new blog!

Time flies when you are having fun!

For new readers, I was going to mention my first ‘welcoming’ post and a review of my first two months, but they both turn up in the top five most-visited posts since January 1st.

Of 161 posts so far, here are the top five in descending order:

Apology on posting comments!

I am terrible at keeping up with reviewing comments.  I write a post and then dash off to do some other work hanging over my head and often don’t get back to the computer for hours, sometimes not until the next day.  So if you have been wondering why you don’t see your comments, that is the usual reason.

SPLC exposed
Perhaps the most fun of the last few weeks was watching the SPLC implode. I’ve been tweeting almost every story I see about their dirty linen now exposed for the world to see and urge all of you to send out anything throughout your social media networks that you come across that shows them for the frauds they are!

However, yesterday I discovered that wordpress has been busily dumping comments into a spam folder, even from those of you who have been regular visitors!  I retrieved a few, but promise to keep a closer eye on that in the future.

Visit the Blog itself!

You probably noticed that I have added a feature that simply gives you an introduction to the post and asks that you continue to Frauds and Crooks for the rest of the story.  That is because I want you to notice information in the sidebar including an ‘about,’ categories where posts are archived and my twitter feed.

Even if you aren’t on twitter you can see what I’m posting there with my comments.

Use the tags!

You will see at the end of each post, the post is categorized and tagged. If you see a tag for your state, click on it and you will see other posts about news in your state. After awhile I plan to do a survey to see which states have the most stories about frauds, crooks and criminals!

Ideas for what to do!

I’ve been trying to add suggestions at the end of each post on what you might do about the news.  However, some news simply doesn’t lend itself to action suggestions.  Some are just so dreadful all you can do is shake your head in disgust.

Thanks as always for following Frauds and Crooks!  And, let me know what I can improve!

Can the DACA ‘Kids’ get Instate College Tuition Rates? Not so far in Georgia

That is what D.A. King reported on his Immigration Politics Georgia website earlier this month in the wake of an Appellate court decision.

instate tuition now
DACA students protest in Georgia

The gist of  the decision is that Georgia does not have any responsibility to allow those illegal aliens known as DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipients to attend college on the taxpayer’s dime.

DACA kids are not lawfully present says the court, they only have their removal deferred at the moment!

Below is a bit of King’s report.

But first, his website is a reminder of what you all should be doing in your states as King explains, was created in late 2018 with personal funds in an effort to provide news and opinion now mostly muffled and hidden by the MSM in Georgia.

A Review: Two Months in at Frauds and Crooks!

It’s been two months and a day since I Welcomed you to my new blog!  Thanks to all of you who follow my writing!

Ann SPLC artwork
This is the artwork the SPLC paid someone to create when they put me on one of their hate lists!  I figure it is mine!

As you know I got tired and bored writing mostly about the US Refugee Admissions Program at RRW for over 11 years (over 9,000 posts archived there!), and frankly don’t see any serious reform for that flawed program on the horizon.***

I just checked the refugee admissions data for this fiscal year and see that, yes, the numbers are low, but with a big spike in the last month.

Also, we know that the Trump State Department has funded all nine resettlement contractors when we previously had heard that at least two were going to be cut loose from the federal dole.

All nine will still exist (ready and waiting!) to make up for what they will say are the Trump lost years whenever a new president is elected.

Then yesterday we learned that the administration has extended temporary refugee protection for Haitians, Salvadorans, Nicaraguans and Sudanese and the Catholic religious Left activists are overjoyed!

I’m telling you all this not to discourage you, but to encourage you to shift gears a bit and figure out what else you can do for America.

You can still be a supporter of President Trump, but you must be willing to be vocal and tell him when he goes wrong!

Back to Frauds and Crooks…..

My thinking in creating this new blog is that I believe all of us (or at least most of us), no matter where you are on the political spectrum, do not want to be ripped-off!

We are stuck with our American cheats and criminals, but it is especially outrageous to be scammed and defrauded by ‘new Americans!’

Progress Report:

For new readers if you are wondering about my use of the phrase ‘new Americans’ it goes back to the Obama years when the president was promoting his White House Task Force on New Americans, here.

Of course the phrase ‘new Americans’ had been around before Obama began promoting it about five years ago, but you will now see it used widely as the Left’s way of lumping all migrants to America (legal and illegal) together by referring to them all as ‘new Americans.’

That is just one of many ways the Left controls the language, so I see my job as taking away some of the positive glow they are trying to surround all immigrants with when they use that phrase.

We are told in the biased media that we must welcome all (no matter whether they are good people or bad). No discernment allowed goes the theory or be prepared to be called a racist and a hater (as the Southern Poverty Law Center says of me).

And, finally, I admit, this blog is much more fun to write because there is so much more material available!

So far I’ve written 104 posts!  I know that many of you see my posts in your e-mails, but it’s a good idea to visit the blog itself from time to time.  (Sorry again to those of you who have for some strange and unexplained reason been unable to subscribe.)

In the right hand sidebar, you can see which posts are ‘trending.’  You will also see I am building categories in which posts are archived by subject so that later you can look back at all posts that are in that category.

I’m tagging by state so we can find out someday which one has the most frauds, crooks and criminals!

My twitter feed is there too, but I have to admit it is easy to get discouraged at twitter because every time I come close to reaching a new ‘follower’ milestone, it is as if they have some algorithm that stops my momentum and they begin removing followers.  I teeter between 15.2 thousand and 15.3 thousand and have languished there for months if not a year.

Because some of you have asked, I’ve added a donation button to the right hand sidebar.

At the end of many posts you will see something like this (with a question mark):

question markSo what can you do? First, don’t get discouraged!  Find your small place in the ‘Make America Great Again’ movement (Trump or no Trump) and work at it every day.  I have to hand it to the progressives, to the Left, they plug away at their goals, day after day, year after year to change America.  We have to be more like them in that regard.  But, to survive, because it isn’t in our nature to be manipulative, make sure that what you choose to do is sustainable and fun (in a weird sort of way).

***I didn’t really take any break between writing RRW and launching Frauds and Crooks, but wrote for another publication under a pen name.

Addendum: I’m going to try a little harder to use my facebook.  I got disgusted with them when in order for me to post on my Refugee Resettlement Watch facebook page, they demanded a screenshot of my drivers license!  Who would send facebook their drivers license?  Not me!

I see a co-administrator is still posting there, check it out!

A Blog to See: Illegal Alien Crime Report

A reader sent me a link to a blog focusing on illegal alien crimes.

See it by clicking here.

This is a screenshot of a portion of the site’s banner this morning.

Although I do include violent crimes committed by migrants (aka ‘new Americans’) of all sorts here at Frauds and Crooks, this site looks to be a one-stop shop collecting the worst of the worst cases of violence being perpetrated on our country and our people by those who should not be here in the first place!

Yesterday I questioned why the horrific beheading in Seattle never made the news nationally—one more example of why one must read widely on the web to understand what is happening to America.

I think the future of journalism is in the hands of media outlets/blogs on the net, and so, as I have said on many previous occasions, you should be blogging too either on a specific topic that does not get enough attention by the mainstream media, or for a specific location—your town, city, or state!

Imagine if every town or county had a blog or website competing with a local Leftwing small town paper!

Housekeeping Update

Several readers reported that they could not read the gray typeface used on this WordPress theme. So with the help of WordPress support, you should notice a darker type going forward.

Let me know if the formatting changes caused any other problems that I am not seeing right now. Changing the format might have messed up how you see your subscription e-mails on your phone.

Which brings me to another issue. I’ve been asked if there is any way to send my stories from your phone e-mails directly to say twitter or facebook, but I am told there is nothing I can do on my end to make that possible.

However, I assume you all know how to find Frauds, Crooks and Criminals on your phones.  And once you do that you can then send posts out to any social media you wish.

You probably know this, but if you are at this site and click on the title to a post, the url for that post will appear in your browser.  Likewise if you click on the header (the blue guy in jail!), you will be returned to Home.

Again, sometimes it’s best to read right here on the blog where you can see my twitter feed, see the most recent stories I’ve posted, and, as I grow the categories, you can see posts in say the category for ‘immigration fraud’ that you might have missed.

Also, at the end of each post you are offered choices for how to share or print stories.

Do you see the little box at the end of each post that says ‘More?’  Click on it and it opens up many avenues for sharing posts to social media.

Thanks as always for visiting!  And, let me know if this format is working for you.

Oh, and one more thing! If you are seeing Frauds and Crooks for the first time, see my ‘Welcome’ post that explains what I am aiming to accomplish!

Are You Writing a Blog Where You Live?

Two weeks in to this new blog—Frauds, Crooks and Criminals—I’m reminded of all the great work many of you do researching issues where you live, national issues too!

But, are you getting that important information out on a local or state website?  If not, why not!

You know that information is power, right!  However, it has little value if it doesn’t reach outside your front door or go much farther than your facebook friends’ computers.

free speech zone map
They will have a harder time shutting down free speech if you all are writing!

Believe me, it is not rocket science to set up a wordpress website, or some other hosting site.  I do think facebook is a good way to get your research/ideas out more widely, but facebook has limitations and will increasingly give you problems.

And, besides, on facebook, I don’t think there is any way to categorize and make available the information you have unearthed for someone to find months or years later (correct me if I am wrong).

Which brings me to the issue of comments here at Frauds and Crooks.  Believe me! Most people will not read comments longer than my original posts! Heck, I hardly have time to read them!  (See my comment on commenting under the header.)

Budding investigators!  Please, please, please, set up a website/blog of your own!

Give your blog a theme, it could be on the vast issue of immigration (obviously my passion), or focus on your geographic location. Write a blog about what is going on in your city or state (LOL! compete with your Left leaning local paper that won’t even publish your Letters to the Editor!).

Plug away at it a little bit every day and you will be surprised at the body of information you will have compiled in a few short months.

The speech police will have a much harder time silencing us if all of you are writing!

Let me know when you’ve got that new blog of your own up and running!

Endnote: If you are new to Frauds and Crooks, see my welcome post here.

Welcome to My New Blog!

As many of you know, I wrote the blog Refugee Resettlement Watch for eleven years beginning in July of 2007. My goal was to educate Americans about the US Refugee Admissions Program and related refugee issues here and around the world.

Ann SPLC artwork

I wanted to see the USRAP reformed, and although President Donald Trump has slowed the flow of refugees into the US, it is not enough.

I could be wrong, but I don’t see the major reform I believe is needed happening as the Democrats now control the House of Representatives.

Beating my head against a wall for two more years strikes me as nuts!

So, I’m doing what I threatened over the years and am writing a blog about frauds and crooks.

My inspiration and purpose is to balance news like this news from Columbus, Ohio about a Left-wing film company planning a ‘diversity is beautiful’ film just in time for the 2020 Presidential election!

If you have been a long time reader of RRW, you know my side interest was in SNAP fraud, otherwise known as food stamp fraud, not the little stuff, but the huge scam involving trafficking in food stamps.

This blog will be about that fraud and a heckuva lot of other frauds being perpetrated on  US taxpayers and average citizens. There is medicare and medicaid fraud, money laundering scams, daycare fraud, vote fraud, immigration and asylum fraud, and even frauds on lonely little old ladies using popular dating services….

….not to mention crimes and terrorism that don’t involve money, but threaten our safety and the safety of our country.

So you can see, I will have a lot of material to write about!

You will be happy to hear that I don’t expect to write more than one or two posts a day with the exception of sending out short, time sensitive fraud alerts as they come up.

And, one last thing!  I have chosen a clean website format and hope to keep it simple to read and navigate.  There won’t be any ads popping up either!

Don’t miss my twitter feed in the right hand sidebar!

Thanks for visiting!
