He must consult with Congress, but that is pro forma because they can’t stop him (nor would they!) under the Refugee Act of 1980.

For the time being I will mention important refugee news here as so few people are reading RRW (I lost thousands of readers when I was deplatformed there), and I think most people must believe that Trump took care of the issue. He slowed the flow for a few years, but left the program completely intact.
All it needs now is a fresh infusion of your money, your tax dollars!
The only thing you can do is to look out for your own communities and fight the plans to place more impoverished people in your towns and cities. How do you do that? I am guessing this move is to get the federal money flowing to the contractors*** in anticipation of the largest number of clients (they do refer to them as clients!) they could see in over 4 years.
Biden wants to raise refugee admissions to 62,500, quadrupling Trump’s record-low limit
WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden wants to raise refugee admissions to 62,500 for the current budget year, overriding former President Donald Trump’s record-low limit of 15,000, a U.S. official and others said Thursday.
The official and others with knowledge of the plans spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
Trump set the ceiling on refugee admissions in October when the 2021 budget year started, and it runs until September 30. Biden’s proposal of 62,500 would replace that, and the president has already announced plans to raise admissions to twice that amount in 2022.
Biden plans to top anything St. Obama ever did in terms of refugee resettlement! 125,000 would do it! Would be the highest number in nearly 3 decades.
Biden is said to have wanted to raise refugee admissions immediately but not set the target as high as 125,000 people because that would be unrealistic to reach this year with the coronavirus pandemic and the work needed to rebuild the refugee program that had been largely dismantled by the Trump administration.
Biden by law must submit his proposal to Congress and consult with lawmakers before making a presidential determination. The U.S. State Department confirmed that it sent the president’s report to Congress, starting that process.
Putting Refugees before the well-being of suffering Americans!
***For those of you new to Refugee Resettlement, these are the nine federal refugee contractors who worked to put Biden and Harris in the White House and are lobbying for millions of illegal aliens to be transformed into legal voting citizens, as well as raising the refugee admissions ceiling from 15,000 this year to 125,000.
They are largely paid by you, the taxpayer, for their work of changing America by changing the people, and in so doing, are putting Americans last!
There was a time that conservatives looked to the Heritage Foundationas a bulwark against the Leftists’ drive to change America as they say they advise Congress on important legislative priorities.
But, in my view their reputation has been seriously tarnished in recent years as frankly they seem to have become just one more swamp dweller with little regard for the ‘deplorables’ including those now in Trump’s America First base!
Heritage’s latest President Kaye Coles James pulls down an annual salary of over a HALF A MILLION DOLLARS!
My first experience with them was back in the late ’80s and early ’90s when hundreds of landowners, ranchers and farmers had come together to form a national property rights grassroots organization to push back against the federal taking of our land.
I was deeply involved in the movement (I mentioned it here recently) and so I went to Washington to see if I could get the Heritage Foundation to give the fledgling grassroots movement some backing (support, not funding!). They simply brushed us off as if they didn’t understand what grassroots activists could do, or were doing, on a core conservative issue—property rights—as Congress was working to take more of our rights through draconian environmental laws.
Their fate was sealed in my eyes when in 2017 they took a position in FAVOR of more refugee resettlement to America. Here is one postI wrote at the time, but there are several more in 2017.
An aside: maybe Heritage might want to take a look at recent pollthat shows how unhappy Americans are with Biden’s plan to bring in 125,000 refugees in the coming year. On that issue Heritage is apparently on the side of business and the likes of the Chamber of Commerce and not on the side the people!
Earlier, in 2016, a reader suggested I join Heritage’s Sentinelgrassroots outreach, but I very quickly learned that they were never going to involve themselves with restricting immigration. Why? I suspect it has to do with big business donors always on the hunt for more cheap labor.
Here is the news about Pence comfortably ensconced (big salary?) at the Heritage Foundation until he can emerge as a Presidential candidate in 2024 (not a chance in hell in my view).
Perhaps one of Trump’s greatest failings as President was that he followed the advice of swamp dwellers, like Heritage, and chose staffers who were in many cases not loyal to him and his America First message.
Mike Pence Joins Other Trump Administration Alumni At Heritage Foundation Post-VP
Mike Pence will be joining the Heritage Foundation as a distinguished fellow, the organization announced Thursday, making the former vice president the latest member of the Trump administration to migrate to the conservative think tank.
The Heritage Foundation announced Pence’s new position in a Thursday statement, explaining the former VP’s duties will include advising on and giving speeches about public policy issues, and contributing to a monthly column for the think tank’s multimedia news outlet, The Daily Signal.
“He will also work with Heritage to lead the conservative movement into the future…”
…read the announcement, touting Pence’s “allegiance to the Constitution and commitment to advancing a conservative policy agenda.”
In addition to his work at Heritage, Pence—who is widely expected to run for president in 2024—will focus on helping the GOP in the 2022 midterms, and reportedly plans to launch a policy-related fundraising committee.
Pence is not the only displaced member of the Trump administration to land at the Heritage Foundation. The think tank announced in late January that it had brought on three former Trump administration homeland security officials as fellows: Chad Wolf, who served as acting secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) before departing in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, former deputy secretary Ken Cuccinelli and former acting commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Don’t send your money to the Heritage Foundation!
If Heritage is just a place to park Pence and other RINOs for a few years, let Liz Cheney and Mitch McConnell fund them! Hey, and maybe the Lincoln Project has a few millions to spare.
Put your hard-earned money directly into the hands of America First! office holders and candidates.
You are basically funding some huge salaries for the upper echelons and affording a bunch of has-been professional politicians a place to park their butts so they might ‘think.’
In that Form 990 we learned that the Heritage Foundation think tank took in around $75 million. See on Page 10 that the vast majority of their expenses were for things like salaries and employee benefits, office expenses, travel, fundraising etc.
Notice also on page 2 that their revenue has been steadily and precipitously declining over the previous years.
Almost a $20 million drop in revenue from 2014 to 2018. I guess that means that some of you have wised up.
And, the best part is the salary pages! They are a charitable non-profit organization and have every right to pay huge salaries, but you have a right to know where their money goes before you give them yours.
(As a point of comparison, rank and file Members of Congress and US Senators make $174,000 a year.)
And, five of the seven least favorite involve immigration, proving once again that Trump was always on the right track when he attempted to slow immigration, but for some unexplained reason he steered clear of the issue in the 2020 race.

That is all I am going to say on that, and normally wouldn’t bother writing about weasel-like Dems, but because just yesterday on the first day of the unconstitutional impeachment trial of our President, led by Raskin, I wrote both at RRW and hereabout how important it was for you now to focus on your city/county and maybe state level (state level in some states, others are lost causes) as you FIGHT back. Washington is lost for now.
And, I want to show you what fighting back might look like and knowing your enemy is step one.
But, first, as I started my research on Maryland Democrat Raskin I came across this story from 2018. Raskin was on Martha’s Vineyard (of course) celebrating with the author of a book for young Americans—-Steal this Country!
Raskin is inspired by wildfire activism! Gee, but only when the wildfire comes from the Left I suppose! He didn’t like that wildfire in the Capitol on January 6th as he ran for cover.
We don’t condone the violence, but you know January 6th scared the ____out of the likes of Raskin who is okay with social unrest when the Left is doing the rioting.

In the summer of 2017, about 60 students participated in Maryland congressman Jamie Raskin’s Democracy Summer workshop program. The following spring, those students helped to organize a school walkout protesting gun violence that mobilized thousands.
That kind of wildfire activism is what inspires Mr. Raskin and what motivated Vineyard author Alexandra Styron to write a handbook for young people on protest and engagement. Mr. Raskin and Ms. Styron united forces this week on the Vineyard to celebrate the release of Ms. Styron’s book, Steal this Country, and talk about their shared goal to mobilize youth for progressive causes.
His son died. A week later he survived the Capitol riots. Now, he’s leading the impeachment case against Donald Trump.

You can do what I was stunned to see any Republican group do—you can make fun of Raskin and other Lefties wherever you live!.
Remember! Obama’s idol Saul Alinsky writing in ‘Rules for Radicals’ (if you have never read it, you better!) told his adoring hard liners thatridicule is the most powerful political weapon.

On Wednesday morning, November 4th President Trump was ahead of Joe Biden in the swing state of Michigan by over 100,000 votes.
This appeared to be another solid win for President Trump in a swing state he won in 2016. The ballot counting in Detroit, Michigan on election night took place at the TCF Center, formerly known as Cobo Hall.
Then late at night, a string of suspicious events changed the momentum for the Trump Team. GOP observers later testified that at 3:30 AM in the morning vehicles drove into the TCF Center and delivered fraudulent ballots for Joe Biden.
If the great Election Steal of 2020 is to be solved, it will be by independent journalists and bloggers like Gateway Pundit.
Changing the subject…
I have been writing at Refugee Resettlement Watch since July of 2007 except for a few months after the speech police got me deplatformed, but I think I have done all I can do for you who live in communities that are refugee resettlement sites, or soon will be.
This morning I spent all of my writing time on this post.
You must organize locally to save your communities from those who are changing your towns and cities politically, culturally, demographically.
Trump can’t save you (us)! Although if he returns to political life the best thing he could do would be to create America First grassroots chapters in every county in America with a first order of business straightening out the local board of elections!
Your governors are mostly useless as they are in cahoots with big business looking for cheap labor.
Your Members of Congress, even most Republicans, are in the pocket of the Chamber of Commerce and they are scared to death of being labelled racists for opposing the “good” people, the phony humanitarians, in charge of the refugee agencies.
You might have some hope with your state legislators, but it is now up to you to find out what is happening locally, get involved, speak up, get organized and maybe even run for local political office. Yes, hard and boring work.
It is more fun and might make us feel good to yak about tyranny and unfairness among ourselves, but it is a waste of time.
And, so what if you are well-read on the cutting issues of the day and have tens of thousands of Twitter or Facebook followers—it will not stop the Socialist Democrat juggernaut working incrementally to control your local community or state.
Remember Obama’s community organizing! They have been working for decades at that level and you have a lot of catching up to do.
