Fox’s Chris Wallace Will Never Moderate a Presidential Debate Again

That is my prediction of course.  And, heck, maybe last night’s train wreck of a Presidential debate will cool enthusiasm for any more debates this year (or forever!).

I got up this morning pretty down-in-the-dumps after staying up past my bedtime for what I expected would be a hot debate, but never dreamed it would go off the rails as badly as it did.

From a tweet following the debate: The Reagan Battalion wrote: “Joe Biden better buy Chris Wallace a beer after he saved his a** so many times tonight.”

Not long into the debate it became clear that Biden and Wallace were double-teaming to take down Trump.  Furious, I switched to watching comments fly by on twitter and realized it was apparent to everyone, Left and Right, that Wallace had stepped in to debate Trump whenever Trump sought a response from Biden.

Because I am too lazy to do it, I am so glad to see this compilation by Ryan Saavedra at the Daily Wire of many of the tweets I read in real time last night—tweets that told me that I wasn’t imaging things!

Chris Wallace Faces Intense Backlash, Including From Colleagues, Over Bias During Debate

Fox News host Chris Wallace, a registered Democrat, faced intense backlash on Tuesday night for what was widely deemed as bias in the debate in the favor of Democrat Joe Biden and against Republican President Donald Trump.

Wallace had bragged in advance that he planned to be invisible—what a joke. He also said he picked all the topics and questions. Note that he did not bring up immigration/open borders/refugees/Islamic terrorism.

One of the issues that Wallace was called out for the most was how he appeared to let Biden interrupt Trump but would jump in to interrupt Trump when Trump would talk over Biden.

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade even noted the discrepancy and called it out on social media, writing: “Why is @JoeBiden allowed to interrupt? @realDonaldTrump is not.”

Continue reading here to see what many citizen and media commenters said on the subject.

By the way, as hot as Trump was he did not call Biden names while Biden called Trump a liar and a clown.

LOL!  One good thing about last night was Joe Biden’s efforts to distance himself from his radical Left base.

I’m guessing that right now AOC and her gang are working on a plan for him to be so sick he wouldn’t be able to continue in a role as Prez of the US right after inauguration day (if he should win).

Tucker: So When Did the Dems Become the Party of War?

I rarely miss Tucker Carlson these days.  He is on the cutting edge of what is happening and says things one would never expect to hear.  When I watched his opening segment last night about the ‘military industrial complex’ I couldn’t help thinking about the huge anti-war demonstrations in Washington less than 20 years ago.

Remember these images of the hard Leftists and Dems marching in the streets of Washington to oppose the Iraq war.

“Give peace a chance!”

2007 Washington DC march against Bush’s war in Iraq. These are Leftists/Marxists/Dems!

Now, here we are 13 years later with those same Leftwingers supporting a military engagement in Syria and opposing Donald Trump who doesn’t want more useless wars in the Middle East (and supporting Biden who would take us back to hellholes in Syria and elsewhere).

‘Fight them there so they don’t come here!’ is a joke!  They will waltz across our open borders if Biden (handlers, whoever they are!) hold the reins of power.

Oh, and I want to know, do AOC, Ilhan Omar and Tlaib, by extension, want more wars in the Middle East?

Last night Tucker took on the war hawks (aka leading members of the military and their contractor leaches) and my reaction as I watched this segment was, I sure hope Tucker has good security!

Biden’s Arab Plan: Bring in More and Protect them from Haters

That is the gist of the good part according to Arab-American observers, but his vague policy prescriptions for foreign policy relating to Arabs and Israel was too vague to get the full-throated support of Arab activists.

From The New Arab:

Biden’s ‘partnership plan’ receives mixed response from Arab-Americans

The US Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Saturday released a policy plan directed at Arab-Americans that encompasses a wide range of domestic and foreign policy pledges in order to win the community’s support.

The plan had a strong focus on civil and human rights, promising to combat discrimination and restore the country’s values as “a nation of immigrants”.

“Anti-Arab bigotry has been used in attempts to exclude, silence, and marginalise an entire community, and Biden believes it must be rejected whenever it surfaces,” the plan read, adding that Arab-Americans would be included across a future Biden administration.

Could we see Ms. Sarsour in a Biden administration?

Biden’s extensive range of domestic policy proposals received high praise from Arab-Americans, many of whom were staunch supporters of Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primary race.

The first pledge included the immediate rescindment of the so-called Muslim ban and the “immoral” family separation policy, as well as increasing the annual intake of refugees to 125,000.

I reported earlier at Refugee Resettlement Watch that Joe Biden has pledged to increase refugee flow to surpass anything his former boss ever managed to do.

The New Arab continues….

A key emphasis of Biden’s plan included combatting discrimination experienced by Arab-Americans in relation to policing, surveillance and counter-terrorism programmes.

[….]

It also pledged to protect the community from the rising threat of far-right violence and prioritise prosecution and thorough documentation of hate crimes.

Oopsy!  But when he talks in vague terms about the Israel-Palestine issue, Arabs are not so happy.

Omar Shakir, Israel-Palestine director for Human Rights Watch, tweeted: “How hard is it to say equal rights? So long as Joe Biden & Kamala Harris [won’t] say that Palestinians deserve same basic rights as all other [people], no-one should be under illusion that they’ll change decades-long ugly status quo. They’re out of touch [with] their party & reality on ground.”

Dems Continue Lies About So-Called Muslim Ban

As I have reported innumerable times recently at RRW, thousands of Muslims continue to enter the US from all over the world.  There is no Muslim ban.

But, the Democrats are never hindered by the facts as John Binder points out about last nights Democrat infomerical (aka 2020 presidential convention).

By the way, I’m busy these days prepping and generally getting stuff in order (if you know what I mean), and so I only plan to post when I see something that I find interesting.  Consider this my August recess.

From Breitbart:

Fact Check: The Travel Ban Is Neither a ‘Muslim Ban,’ Nor Unconstitutional

CLAIM: President Donald Trump’s travel ban was a “Muslim ban” and was unconstitutional.

VERDICT: False. The travel ban was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Yates with creepy Clapper in 2017.

Actress Tracee Ellis Ross, who moderated the second evening of the Democrat National Convention (DNC), claimed that President Trump’s travel ban was unconstitutional She introduced former Acting U.S. Attorney General Sally Yates, whom she said “refused to defend an unconstitutional travel ban and paid for it with her job.”

Yates herself then described it as a “shameful and unlawful Muslim travel ban.”

In reality, the Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision in Trump v. Hawaii that the president has extraordinarily broad discretion under 8 U.S.C. § 1182(f) to exclude aliens when he believes doing so is in the nation’s interests.

[….]

In Senate testimony in May 2017, Yates admitted that she had been motivated partly by “policy” considerations, which were not hers to make, and that she based her view of the ban not on the executive order but Trump’s previous statements. She even admitted that she had overruled the Office of Legal Counsel, which had confirmed the order’s constitutionality.

Yates was simply wrong about the Constitution and the law. She was a political actor seeking to create controversy; she could have resigned in protest, but instead forced the administration to fire her to create a sense of being victimized.

Biden Kisses Up To Muslim Political Activists; Wants More Islam Taught in Public Schools

I know it is an understatement, but this election matters like no other.

And, let me ask at the outset, why are so many of you pushing for schools to re-open? If you are truly a conservative, get your kids the hell out of there and use this opportunity (the COVID panic) to launch your own homeschool!

Sarsour can’t wait to pressure a Biden administration!

Before I give you a few snips about what the Dems’ presidential candidate Joe Biden said, perhaps the last few lines of the story are most telling.

Here is what Emgage Action conference attendee Linda Sarsour said of Biden according to The Christian Post:

“I choose Biden. But I choose him as my opponent in the White House,” Sarsour added. “I want him to defeat Trump so we can mobilize our movements to hold him accountable and push him to do and be better. We can’t do that with Trump.”

Joe Biden wants Islam taught more in schools, decries ‘rise in Islamophobia’

Democrat presidential hopeful Joe Biden said Monday that he wants schools in the U.S. to teach more about Islam and claimed that there is an “unconscionable rise in Islamophobia” under the Trump administration.

“I wish we taught more in our schools about the Islamic faith,” Biden, a Catholic, said during his video remarks played at the “Million Muslim Votes” summit organized by the Muslim American political action committee Emgage Action.

“I wish we talked about all the great confessional faiths. [Islam is] one of the great confessional faiths. What people don’t realize is … we all come from the same root here, in terms of our fundamental basic beliefs. I just want to thank you for giving me the opportunity for being engaged, for committing to action this November.”

Emgage Action boasts of being the “political home for Muslim Americans” and endorsed Biden in April after initial endorsing Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in the Democratic presidential primary.

“Donald Trump has fanned the flames of hate in this country, across the board, through his words, his policies, his appointments, his deeds and he continues to fan those flames,” the 77-year-old Biden, who served as vice president under former President Barack Obama, said. “Under this administration, we have seen an unconscionable rise in Islamophobia, including kids being bullied at school and hate crimes in our communities.”

[….]

Despite calling out administration officials he accused of being Islamophobic, Biden mentioned nothing in his speech about confronting the presence of radical Islamic extremist groups that are responsible for the killing of thousands around the world.

Biden praised Emgage Action for its effort in getting 1 million Muslim voters to show up to vote in November.

[….]

He went on to say that “this is the most important election in modern American history.”

[….]

Biden vowed to “end the Muslim ban on day one.” Biden also vowed to work with Congress to pass hate crime legislation and legislation to end racial and religious profiling by federal law enforcement agencies.

[….]

Biden’s comments on wanting to see more Islam taught in public schools come as many public school districts around the country already include units on Islam in high school and, in some cases, middle school social studies class.

[….]

“Biden has a lot of work to do to win the hearts of young Muslim Americans who were core to Bernie’s campaign,” Sarsour wrote in a Twitter thread. “They are anti-war, pro-Palestinian, pro-Abolition of ICE & support defunding of police. They care about Rohingya, Uighur Muslims, Kashmir, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen & Syria.”

“I choose Biden. But I choose him as my opponent in the White House,” Sarsour added. “I want him to defeat Trump so we can mobilize our movements to hold him accountable and push him to do and be better. We can’t do that with Trump.”

There is much more, including the fact that Rep. Ilhan Omar was there (not a surprise).
