I guess you can say I am now completely done with Fox News after Tucker Carlsonwent after Sidney Powell last night. He was the last of their performances on the screen in my house.
Remember the rumors awhile back about Tucker in 2024—what a joke that is!

Sidney Powell, a lawyer for President Donald Trump‘s campaign, has responded to Fox News host Tucker Carlsonafter he said she had provided no evidence to support her claims of voter fraud.
The former prosecutor alleged at a press conference on Thursday that electronic voting machines had changed votes from the president to former Vice President Joe Biden but offered no proof.
In his monologue, which was also published as an op-ed on the Fox News website, Carlson told his prime time audience that he had asked Powell politely for evidence and would have had her on the show but she wasn’t willing to co-operate.
There were many ways Carlson could have said this without the snarky aggressive tone. In most cases like this the host would simply say, we reached out to Powell but did not get a response to our request. It was almost like he was saying: I am a big media star and you dared to turn ME down!
“Apparently Mr. Carlson missed the news conference today,” Powell said in a statement late on Thursday, according to Washington Examiner breaking news reporter Anthony Leonardi.
“I would continue to encourage him and all journalists to review all the materials we have provided so far and conduct their own investigations.
“Evidence continues to pour in, but a 5 minute television hit is not my focus now. Collecting evidence and preparing the case are my top priorities,” Powell said.

Trump Administration Signals Tougher Action to Bar Communist Party Members From Immigrating to US
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on Friday published a policy alert about banning members of the communist party or any other totalitarian party from getting an immigrant visa.
“In general, unless otherwise exempt, any intending immigrant who is a member or affiliate of the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party (or subdivision or affiliate), domestic or foreign, is inadmissible to the United States,” USCIS said in a policy alert (pdf).

People with membership or affiliation with the communist party or other totalitarian parties are inconsistent and incompatible with the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America, which includes pledging to “support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States,” the agency said in a statement.
The policy alert didn’t announce any new immigration policy but suggests the Trump administration may take tougher action to enforce related policies.
USCIS explained in its Policy Manual that the policy is based on a series of laws passed by Congress between World War I and the 1950s. Those laws state that any alien who is or has been a member or affiliate of a Communist or any other totalitarian party are “inadmissible” for immigration into the United States.

Of course there are exceptions and people trying to get into the US will lie, but even taking this position signals where this administration is on the spread of communism.

Now I see that a Cincinnati Police officer isn’t going to take it laying down when citizens complained to the Citizens Complaint Authority (do you have one of these where you live???) claiming he used a ‘racist’ hand gesture at a public meeting held to discuss defunding the police.
Maybe the case of Nick Sandmann is just the catalyst we all needed! Go after these jerks whenever possible!
Cincinnati police officer sues over being ‘portrayed as a white supremacist’
A Cincinnati police officer filed a lawsuit against four people, alleging their social media posts and complaints to the Citizens Complaint Authority falsely portrayed him as a racist and white supremacist after he made the “OK” gesture in public at City Hall.
The suit, filed July 22 in Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas, says police officer M.R. (who filed under a pseudonym) had been working crowd control in a noisy hallway during a Budget and Finance Committee meeting on June 24. A large number of protesters, fueled by outrage over the killing of George Floyd, had gathered to express their opinions about the city budget. Some wanted to defund the police.
And the hallway was noisy, according to the suit. Someone asked M.R. about another officer who recently left the scene; he made the “OK” sign by touching his thumb and index finger together.
NPR reported the Anti-Defamation League added the “OK” gesture to its “Hate on Display” database in 2019, saying some people associate the symbol with white supremacy.
The Southern Poverty Law Center has noted that the association started on the online imageboard 4Chan,where far-right users announced a coordinated hoax meant to bait left-leaning portions of the internet into embarrassing themselves by misidentifying the OK gesture as one linked to white supremacists.
Then real white supremacists started to use it. The SPLC report the gesture, although not exclusively or even mostly used by white supremacists, can be an effective public dogwhistle for some on the far right because it is so commonplace — like the original hoax, “what it’s about most of the time is a deliberate attempt to ‘trigger liberals’ into overreacting to a gesture so widely used that virtually anyone has plausible deniability built into their use of it in the first place.”

Judge Shanahan also granted anonymity to the officer who filed the suit while proceedings continue. A series of restraining orders will prohibit those named in the lawsuit from “doxxing” the officer, which means releasing his name or personal information with malicious intent. The officer’s attorneys said releasing that information puts the officer and his family in danger.

The lawsuit names four people as defendants: Julie Niesen, James Noe, Terhas White and Alissa Gilley.
Niesen and Noe posted false content about the plaintiff on social media, according to the suit.
White, who was present at the June 24 meeting, was “seeking to create conflict” by asking the plaintiff a series of questions, the lawsuit said. The next day, White filed a complaint with the Citizen Complaint Authority, in which White “falsely accused Plaintiff of using the ‘white power’ hand signal,” the suit said.
This is a dreadful story and a prime example of the asinine policy of releasing even a young criminals due to fears that the poor fellows would get the Chinese virus while awaiting trial.
Rape suspect who was freed due to coronavirus kills his accuser in Alexandria, police say
ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Police in Virginia say that a rape suspect released from jail in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic went on to kill the woman who had accused him.
Ibrahim E. Bouaichi (33) was released from a Maryland jail in April!
The Washington Post reports that Ibrahm E. Bouaichi was tracked down by authorities on Wednesday. But he shot himself and was in grave condition on Thursday.
Bouaichi was indicted last year on charges that included rape, strangulation and abduction. He was jailed without bond in Alexandria.
The woman testified against him in Alexandria District Court in December.
When the pandemic hit, Bouaichi’s lawyers argued that he should be freed awaiting trial because the virus endangered both inmates and their attorneys. He was released on $25,000 bond over the objections of a prosecutor.
Circuit Court Judge Nolan Dawkins released Bouaichi on the condition that he only leave his Maryland home to meet with his lawyers or pretrial services officials. [What! No ankle monitor, no nothing!—ed]
Alexandria police say that Bouaichi, 33, fatally shot the woman in late July.
Authorities said that federal marshals and Alexandria police spotted and pursued Bouaichi in Prince George’s County on Wednesday. He crashed his vehicle and apparently shot himself, authorities said.
Judge Dawkins retired in June. He did not respond to The Washington Post’s request for comment. Judges are often prohibited from commenting on pending cases.
Bouaichi’s attorneys, Manuel Leiva and Frank Salvato said in a statement that they were “certainly saddened by the tragedy both families have suffered here.” [BFD! Saddened, that’s all!—ed]

And, get this! He had been released in April on COVID fears, had a run-in with police in May and then went on to allegedly murder the Venezuelan woman in July.
Here is what the Daily Mail says about the May incident:
Bouaichi did have another run in with the law prior to the shooting, when in May he was arrested by Greenbelt police after they received a holdup alarm at a Wendy’s restaurant.
Responding officers say Bouaichi was acting strangely in the drive-thru and became uncooperative with police.
He was arrested and charged with two count of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, harming a law enforcement dog, resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated and multiple traffic charges.
He was released from Maryland jail on May 11, with Alexandria officials saying that they would have revoked his bond had they known about the incident.
That is disgusting. We know that Maryland is soft of criminals, especially immigrant criminals, but this is an outrage even for Maryland.
