We have admitted to the US over 250,000 Afghans and Iraqis in the last decade, must we take more?

Today at Refugee Resettlement Watch I reported on a columnist at the Philadelphia Inquirer blasting the President and saying he is morally bankrupt for not being willing to take as refugees thousands more from those two countries.

What do you think?  We freed the Iraqis from a tyrant in a war that cost us enormous blood and treasure, so why are we obligated then to take thousands, tens of thousands! of nationals from those countries to live in America.

When is enough enough?

The war in Iraq ended in 2011!  Does our obligation continue for decades?

Trudy apparently thinks it does!

How about you?

  1. Yes we do. Just like we are continuing to take refugees from Vietnam. All controlled by loud mouthed leftists and RHINOs.

  2. Yes, Ann, I agree, enough is enough, and I will go on to say that we need to get
out of Iraq and Afghanistan, forthwith.
What a terrible waste of human life and money.
Americans first, and of course, we will help others, also.
I have mentioned this to the President many times on White House.gov.
Isn’t it about time for America to voice our disapproval?
    Sincerely,
    Linda

  3. No obligation is necessary. Americans have been too generous with the America that was made great by our founding fathers. In order to appear all accepting, we have allowed other countries to run over us with the theme, “America and Christians in particular owe the rest of the world their country.”

Nothing could be more untrue. We have welcomed a group of people who have disdain for America and want our entire system changed to accommodate their religious beliefs.

Now we have three people in congress and more in state government to make sure America does not stay American.

  4. From the Crusades to 9/11, history has given many laypeople a tale of unrelenting hostility between Christians and Muslims. Michael Penn, who teaches religion and gender studies at Mount Holyoke College, is assembling a different picture by poking in an obscure nook of history.”

  5. I’m sick of this bringing in thousands and thousands of immigrants and refugees. Let them stay in their own country and rebuild it. We get the refuse of other countries and they come here with their hands out and commit heinous crimes. Even European countries are protesting the onslaught of immigration.
